This it is... The best burgers and hotdogs in Dallas. Not an exaggeration. Angry Dog has been a favorite for years and they never disappoint. If you look up "dive bar" online there might be a photo taken at the Angry Dog, It's about as basic inside as it could be with wooden chairs/tables, sports monitors, and a long well used bar. But somewhere in the back there's a grill made of magic, cause everything that comes off it is fantastic! Their burgers and dogs don't look unusual in anyway, until you chomp, then about half way thru the first bite your eyes glaze over and a burger brain fog slowly erases the memories of every other burger you had previously thought was good. On my Saturday afternoon visit I had a draft beer, their "Plain dog" (served open face). "The burger", and onion rings. Delivery was quick and their service staff is top notch.There are other places in Dallas claiming to have the best burgers, but there's only one place you can get one. Angry Dog.

Great spot in Deep Ellum offering bar bites and great drinks! Favorite item on the menu is their famous hot dog...smothered in chili and cheese it's one of the best hot dogs in Dallas!

This little divey bar which happens to have a deliciously diverse selection of food and drinks is the perfect pre- or post-event spot. We have come here over the years and our most recent visit was just before the Royal Blood concert at the Southside Ballroom. I had The Natural which is a well-crafted vegetarian sandwich. I got it with tater tots, which came out hot and crispy. The sammie combo comes with ketchup and what seems to be a bbq ranch dressing. The service here is always friendly and super efficient. Every visit has been a great time.

Got to have dinner with a buddy of mine in Dallas yesterday and he picked Angry Dog. It sits in a pretty interesting part of town - lots of hip places as well as a lot of people you want to keep an eye on as you walk around.Angry Dog is as much a bar as it is a restaurant, and they have a great selection of beer. I had Guinness, which they had on tap, while my buddy had some sort of nasty IPA thing. (I've tried to like IPAs... I really have. Just can't do it.)I ordered some onion rings for us to split and the 'Angry Dog' for my meal. This is a hot dog served open faced with mustard and covered in chili, grilled red onions and cheese. It comes with fries and some pickle slices.The onion rings were good and so was the chili dog, even though I didn't finish it. The wait staff were mildly interested, so the service was a little below average.The best part of the whole meal was went I visited the men's room. Best wall paper I've ever seen.

Angry Dog has been a family go-to for several years. As Upstate NY Natives, this might be the only place within two thousand miles to find Chicken Spiedies- and that was the draw. To be honest though? Everything on the menu keeps us coming back. We love the wings, the burgers, and of course, the hotdogs. This is one of the best burgers in the area, and they have the awards to prove it! Wash it down with a spicy Bloody Mary or a local beer, and Angry Dog is sure to please. It's bar food- this ain't no fancy joint, but every single bite is delicious!Parking in the area can be a bit tricky; your options are a paid lot, a parking garage, or metered street parking. Just be prepared to pay! Don't forget to make a trip to the Angry Dog bathrooms. That's worth a visit in itself. Be wary of big sporting events and local games when timing your visit. We've never had an issue sitting right down, but I'd imagine it's packed during peak hours and big games. The staff is nice enough and service is about what you'd expect. Seems relatively accessible, thought sometimes tables are pushed a little close together - just in case mobility is a consideration.

Stopped in for a quick bite before a show. Ordered the Nate's Burger since I'm Nate and it had all the stuff I typically like on a burger. Service was quick and fast and it's a cool atmosphere. Burger was very messy and fell apart quickly.

Awesome wings and staff are really nice. Prices aren't to bad for what you are getting

Got the chicken fingers. Garbage. I usually get the hot dogs/wings/or burgers. Tried to go off road tonight very disappointed. I'll stick to my usuals from now on. Service wish a little off tonight. Definitely felt a little neglected but I still tipped even though the service wasn't as good as it usually is. The ambiance is always the same. Chill go watch a few plays, have some drinks and hit another bar. I ate one chicken finger and a few fries. I'm now at Mama Mia's grabbing some wings and fries. I will say this before I go. Gluey the wings at Angry dog they're actually delicious the fries need some work but the wings are a go.

I was in Deep Ellum for a photo shoot and had some time to go grab some food. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in. I was immediately given a menu and a glass of water which was awesome because it was so hot Angry Dog was right across the street from the Studio. I went in and they had a great lunch menu with decent prices . I picked street tacos ! 4 for 9.99 $. They were ribeye tacos !! Delicious I ordered 8 more and took them back to the studio for everyone!
