Alwadi Grill

Tried this new place and would recommend it for Mediterranean food. I tried the mixed grill , beef and chicken shawarma and hummus. Service was quick and they even offered us free deserts !

Tried this place on a whim as they recently reopened. Came here for lunch to try a gyro and was not impressed. The chicken had no seasoning. The server didn't seem to know the menu and could not answer simple questions. Also, the fries were not done cooking as they were soggy. I am not sure how long they have been in business but they need to get their processes in line IMO. At this point, I would not be back.

First things first! The kafta kabobs are the most tender I've had. The flavor was spot on, and it was cooked perfectly. The platter comes with 2 sides. I chose the hummus and Greek salad, plus I added a side of rice. The only complaint I have is that I wish the Greek salad tastes more like traditional Greek salad, plus they use sliced black olives instead of Kalamata olives. The sliced black olives are bland and don't enhance the salad at all. But I have to say the hummus and rice don't disappoint. But the silent star goes to the lemonade mint smoothy. This was so refreshing and sweet. I ended up ordering one to go. I'll definitely be back! It's worth the drive to Pantego.

The food is delicious and the servings are generous. It is NOT a speedy place to eat. They cook everything fresh and that takes time. Dont go if you're in a hurry but do go if you want bang for your buck and delicious ingredients

So happy I decided to try this new place out! The service was very friendly, fast, and super helpful. Hisham did a great job!The food was on another level of amazing, here's what I ordered:Mixed grill - 10 of 10 The chicken, lamb/ground meat are so flavorful and literally have juices coming out when you bite into them. The just lamb one itself was nice and tender as well, perfectly done but I'm not huge on straight lamb to begin with. Comes with 2 Sides, I added Lentil Soup:Hummus - 10 of 10 MAKE SURE TO GET THIS HUMUS, THE CONSISTENCY IS SO SMOOTH AND THE TASTE is among the best HUMUS I've had no exaggeration. IM TYPING IN CAPS ON PURPOSE!! And they give you a lot of Pita bread!!Lentil Soup - 9 out of 10, the crispy pita it comes with is dopeThe two things I didn't love were the rice and the sauces that come with the entree. The sauces are just a little too flavorful and I'd prefer just cucumber yogurtBaklava Cheesecake - awesome, never had this before and you have to try it bc it's interesting. The cheesecake inside the Baklava has a very slight rosewater taste to itTurkish Coffee - very well made, just like any decent Turkish coffee And all this for slightly under 33 dollars, with a coke too! Anyways, highly recommended I don't do reviews this long like ever. Will try and take pictures next time!

Ordered Togo food. The food was great and the owner and other staff were very friendly. Restaurant was very clean. Will definitely be back.

We ordered from Grub Hub but the place is closed and has been replaced. It is another Mediterranean restaurant but it is more expensive

We thought we would try this place and we were pleased with everything we ordered. I ordered the tikka kabobs and my wife ordered a Greek salad with added Gyro meat. Gyro meat was a little thicker than usual which made it nice. The tikka kabob meat was excellent. We will be back.

Honestly this place is more like a 3.5. The food is actually pretty delicious albeit some of it like the rice and pita bread was lukewarm. The Kefta kebabs were delicious, the baba ghanouj was of high quality, and everything else was juicy and nicely seasoned. Normally I don't focus on service or ambience but this place was a bit much. The staff seemed very standoffish, there is no decor or vibe or music, the dining room was ugly, sparse and industrial. wait time for our food when we were 2 of the only 4 people in the place was 30+ minutes. There also seems to be a second restaurant or a ghost kitchen inside this place with a different name and different menu on the wall so even ordering food was confusing. Even though the food was good, it was a overall awkward and uncomfortable dining experience since there is nothing to distract you or make you feel relaxed while you wait a long time for food. If they tidied up a bit and tightened their service then this place could easily be 5 stars since the quality was nice. But the overall package made me not want to return.

Food is no better or worse than any other Mediterranean cuisine i've had in the area. What is different is how rude the manager/employees are. I ordered today via Uber Eats. It took an hour for the food to be ready. My driver was spoken down to when she asked the status of the order. She waited 25 minutes, thankfully (she got a good tip from us!) and was talked to terribly whenever she asked when the order was goi g to be completed. I called twice and was hung up on. The food was good. However, there are a lot of good Mediterranean restaurants out there. I suggest giving business to those that are kind to patrons/delivery drivers, and who want repeat business. Because this isn't that.
