Allende Seafood Bar and Grill

The Mr. wanted Mexican Seafood for his birthday dinner, after doing some yelp research we decided on Allende. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the hostess. It was a Saturday night, karaoke night everyone was singing along and having a grand ol' time, the entire restaurant was so lively. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant near the bar which had t.v. screens that projected the words to each of the Karaoke songs to sing along to. We ordered to share the volcano this was a very large dish that consists of Shrimp, octopus, scallops, cucumber, fish ceviche, pico de gallo very tasty and also a bit spicy, it comes with crackers for dipping. For our entree he ordered the Full fish that is fried (I can't remember the name). I was still full from the appetizer so I just munched on the Mr.'s plate. Overall, we had an amazing experience, the entire staff came out to sing happy birthday. Great food and awesome service!

Allende's was a good time and had great food! Just landed in Dallas and was looking for a good drink and some tacos. This place was highly recommended by my cousin so I was looking forward to the visit. They do offer parking which is always a plus! The temperature was nice that day so we ended up dining outside. Wasn't packed at all and the area was clean and had plentiful seating provided with TVs place around. I ended up not going inside for anything, so I cannot comment on that. The young man provided great service, kept our glasses full and was very patient with any questions we had. The menu provided a lot of delicious options. I went with 2 steak tacos and a chorizo taco and man that flavor! I almost ordered some to go LOL but I knew I had to prepare for a full weekend of good eats. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. Would visit again!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Fun little neighborhood Mexican seafood joint The aguachile was super spicy (they warned us) but flavorful.The shrimp were plump and the cucumbers were fresh. Def getting it againWe shared quesabirria tacos Delicious and came with plenty of tasty consommé We tried both charro and refried beans and the charro were the winner The drinks were okI had a Paloma and margarita The service was fast and friendly and bilingual They have plenty of indoor seating for these hot days but a nice patio for when cooler weather prevails We were surprised to see valet service ($5) but we like having someone to watch over the vehicles in this part of town Want to return to try their breakfast/brunch offerings

Beautiful place, excellent ambiance, pleasant waitstaff, very clean restrooms. I had fantastic steak quesadillas -- super good guacamole and sour cream on the side. I loved their salsas -- the red has a distinct kick, but the green is one sneaky killer! Very tasty, I'm thinking, what chile is that? Oooo, THERE it is! Quite the surprise! I'd come back here just for the salsas.

We had a horrible expirence the service was super slow our server never checked on us only came 2 we waited for our drinks for 16 mins and for our chips that they provide we waited like 20 mins we put everything at once and it took almost an hour for our food to get here I understand if it's busy but they hardly checked on us when the chips came they were stale and the host lady was rude when she sat us I left starving waiting for the food sadly I had to leave for work and could not be able to enjoy some food

Food is decent. But service definitely could use some improvement. It's a Mexican restaurant with a lot of classic seafood from Mexico and a lot of staff is either Central American or Caribbean and their spanish isn't a bit different from Mexico so having them understand your wants for the Mexican food is very difficult. Wait for drinks was about 20 mins... which is insane for drinks. Food came out slowly, and in INCREMENTS! They brought everyone's plate at different times, and when I say different I mean like 5-10 mins gaps in between and we all finished a different times. My friend got her food very last and she was the birthday girl, it was embarrassing .One thing that really ticked me off was that we tried to order and extra pound of shrimp and the guy told us we couldn't and that we would have to order another combo #1 which is 45$, I had him show me his kiosk device and found that the shrimp was sold alone too and he was just trying to upsell the food. He never apologized and that for me is so wrong, an integrity issue with the staff. He never checked on us after food was dropped off. We had to have other ppl call him over for refills and anything else we needed. Save your money and go elsewhere tbh.Beer was also not cold, see picture.

Worst place I've been to. The host sat us down and after 10 minutes of waitresses and bartender standing around no one came to our table to greet us or say if someone would be with us shortly. We drove an HR to get to this place for them to completely ignore us. Worst service of my life, not even service since I didn't get any. I definitely do NOT recommend this place at all. If I could give 0 starts I would.

Honestly had huge expectations for the place. How are you going to market, and even go viral on social media but not have the capability to give service. We came in party of 6. The place was at capacity in the tables which is fine. But they were only giving 1 menu per table!! LITERALLY ONE! Waiters were walking with more in hand we asked for an extra just one extra the waiter said no, we asked why and he just shrug and walked away laughing! Like c'mon all these other tables were also just having to share 1. How are you even supposed to look at the menu or truly decide what you want because everyone else at your table is waiting their turned. Portions were decent enough to fill you up and it is quite delicious. Save your money on the Alcoholic drinks, they are more mix then alcohol and overly sweet. We definitely sent them back because the sweetness was just overpowering. We definitely tried to drink them but they were not working. Go for a beer or michelada at least that way you know you're getting your full portion of alcohol. The fact that the drink menu and the bartending doesn't work is quite surprising because they incorporate live music. The place is small and rowdy so take note of that. To celebrate a birthday it is quite the experience they have airhorns, maracas, rattled and cowbells... that air horn was painful to the ears because of the distance between the tables & small place. Only gave it 2 stars because regardless of service, supply of menus, the lacking alcoholic drinks, and the size of place, the food taste is good and portions are decent. Definitely more for the rowdy folks. The place has potential to improve but I feel more that its not cared for in a personal level and this is the outcome of a restaurant that goes viral, owners want to take advantage of the fame and chose quantity of revenue over quality of service
