5 Stars - Heavenly Coffee, Even for a HeathenLet me set the scene: I'm a non-believer walking into a coffee shop... in a church. Sounds like the setup for a bad joke, right? "A heathen walks into a holy house, orders a latte..." But let me tell you, 1418 Coffee had me converted -- at least to their coffee.First off, the vibe here is unreal (pun intended - hehe). It's cozy, welcoming, and yes, you're technically in a church, but don't worry, no one's waving holy water around or trying to save your soul while you're waiting for your latte. The barista? She was a saint. Friendly and she somehow make your drink taste like it's been blessed by the coffee gods themselves.I ordered a latte that was so good, I nearly looked up at the ceiling and said, "Okay, fine, you win this round." Sweet baby Jesus that was a delicious latte! And the seating! Plenty of space, cozy chairs, and the kind of ambiance that makes you want to stay and contemplate life... or just get some work done while sipping your divine brew. So, fellow skeptics, if you're worried about accidentally catching fire upon entering a sacred space for caffeine, fear not. 1418 Coffee is proof that you don't have to believe in heaven to know what heavenly tastes like. Highly recommend -- your taste buds will thank you, even if your conscience is like, "What are we doing here?"Signed,A Certified Coffee SinnerP.S.: If this coffee was made by intelligent design, then evolution deserves all the credit for my taste buds.

Came here to grab a bite before church and it was worth it! The employees were really nice and professional, the food and tea was pretty good, and it was a very nice setup! A coffee shop inside a church is surprising more unique than I thought, and it works very well! I definitely would recommend this place!

Wow! This dark, lovely cozy coffee shop appears to be in the lobby of a church. High ceilings, cozy groupings of comfy chairs, shiplap walls and Edison bulbs with rock music set to a low volume make this a very inviting place to relax with a cup of coffee. I ordered a Sgt. Pepper which was warmed up, but not actually spicy with a hint of cayenne pepper. There's enough snacks on offer to make yourself a meal - I had a tiny bean and cheese breakfast taco and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning to this awesome coffee shop!

Love the quiet atmosphere. When you want a place where you can chat without loud coffee machines or loud music this is the place. A variety of seating options to choose. It's inside a church, but don't let that stop you. Friendly place.

If you are looking for a quiet place tucked away with coffee drinks and baked goods, checkout this location of 1418. It's in the same building as a church but has a very homey feel, similar to the plano location. There are different size tables and chairs as well as comfy couch seats, plenty of space and outlets along the walls. If you are a fan of taco deli, you will find their top favorite breakfast tacos there too, in a warming case by the cashier. I tried the vaquero taco, and it was delish! The atmosphere is a little dark and the wifi was good, a great place to read, study, or chat with a friend.

It was a Friday morning - early - heading to babysit- coming from Frisco heading to Richardson I actually missed the exit for Preston to go to one of my favorite coffee drive - thru. UGH! What was I thinking. Got off at the next exit pulled into a safe space and googled coffee near the address I was going. The regular Starbucks and Dunkin came up but closest to where I was going was 1418 coffee on Beltline- why not. So I drove down Beltline and there was a street sign 1418 coffee. ITS IN A CHURCH-- OK. Pulled in and it's the cutest most comfortable shop. It has tables, chairs couches, games. Anyway the barista helped me order. I asked what the most popular drink was and she made it perfectly. Thank goodness I didn't see the pastries when I ordered but when I did that little devil on my shoulder told me no- you are now running late and don't stand in line again. Anyway. The coffee was wonderful. The place is really cute to sit by yourself or with friends. Definitely heading there again.

Nice quiet study place. I ordered the #1 signature drink, Purple Haze, which is Café latte with lavender and vanilla. I love it and want to come back and try the David Mason. They also sell some food as well.
