I'm a fan of the classic plain, aloo, and paneer parathas, so discovering a menu boasting 101 varieties was an exciting surprise! The parathas here are massive--far from the typical size--and are served pizza-style, cut into slices. It's a unique presentation that adds to the fun. There is an accompanying achar bar, offering a variety of pickles, along with sides like raita and another complementary dish to enhance the flavors. I highly recommend coming with a group or opting for the buffet to sample a variety, as even one paratha is generous enough to feed two to three people. We tried #6, the classic aloo paratha, and #29, the paneer makhani paratha--both were delicious! The daal makhani was rich and flavorful, though I found the amritsari pindi chole a bit on the salty side.If I lived closer, this would undoubtedly be a regular spot for me. The variety, quality, and portion sizes make it a must-visit for paratha lovers.

Took to go orders from 101 paratha before our flight from dfw. Ordered 2 parathas - a potato and cheese paratha for the kid and butter chicken paratha for the adults. The paratha come with a side of chole/daal makhani. The size is humongous, easily sufficient for 2-3 adults. The paratha for kids was good. Was mild as requested and good for a plain potato and cheese paratha. The butter chicken paratha however tasted nothing like butter chicken. It was basically mince chicken stuffed in a paratha. And it was very dry. Wasn't pleased about it. We had the chole as a side which was good.

This is a place dedicated to Indian stuffed breads (paratha) of all kinds, 101 to be precise. The ambience is cool but casual, the stuffed bread of your choice is served with butter, yogurt, one side (lentil gravy/ cheakpeas gravy/ spinach gravy) and Indian pickle (mango pickled in oil). Paratha is traditional Indian bread, mostly from north India and eaten during breakfast or midday snack, pretty much any time of the day. They also have great shakes (mango lassi/ traditional lassi (yogurt drink). The parathas can be vegetarian (filled with potato, onion, green peas, qualiflower, daikon radishes, ...) in non vegetarian options they have chicken, lamb, eggs ...

Definitely a must on the weekends if you want try different parathas. A huge section of vegetarian parathas available along with chicken paratha & also sweet kalakand paratha. Taste was really good. Paratha buffet @ 101 paratha is the first & only one in North America. We enjoyed every bit of it! Staff was very friendly & well maintained joint! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

The parathas itself are pretty decent, just know that it's almost a medium pizza size and not an individual size. So it's definitely shareable between two people. Also I prefer the paratha to be more blended with the dough instead of it being a filling giving it more of a quesadilla feel. The one plus point is that it comes with a side and raita which I can appreciate. The daal makhani and chicken curry side was good, I personally was not a fan of the chole. The service and ambiance is warm and cozy. I really liked their Achar Bar serving a variety of pickle which definitely is a good match when eating parathas!

Definitely a must place to try if you are in Irving! It was so hard to pick which ones to try and all the names are so clever - especially if you are into Bollywood since some were old movie references. We picked up three different kinds but the decor was pretty cute and the service for pick up was good. Out of the three, the almond chicken was pretty spicy so if you have a low tolerance, it would be hard to eat even with yogurt. The aloo and Gobi were in the vegetarian category and they were not that spicy. Captions in the pictures!I would definitely go back and to try their sister restaurant India 101.

My first experience of paratha was in Singapore which I loved so the idea of 101 Paratha sounded so intriguing to me. While the paratha style was different, I had a very pleasant experience overall. I got a vegetarian aloo ghobi paratha and it was overall really tasty with a nice yogurt dip. All their parathas do come with a side (I got daal) and there are also self serve pickled veggies available. The interior was very clean and aesthetically pleasant. Service was alright. Overall I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you love Indian style parathas. I do not think this would appeal to a wider audience though, so just be aware!

I always want to support our community. This is a spot right near India 101 and I'm not sure if same owners but paratha sounded good to my parents so we came by to pick up some for dinner. Right next door is rumali and I wanted rumali roti. For paratha we decided on keema methi which I asked for the daba chicken. The lady taking the order said there's an up charge of $2 so it's better to get the pindi chole which is 8 oz of chole. The side order of 8 oz is 8.99. So I decided pindi. My parents got gobi with pindi chole. When it came out it was in small 4 oz containers so we were surprised. The staff kept insisting it was 8 oz and we just couldn't agree on that. They weren't filled fully either. They ended up giving us another container. When I got home I had to measure because it was driving me crazy, I filled 1/2 a cup and had 2 tablespoons leftover so definitely not 8 ounces. As a reminder - this place does close mid day so make sure you check the timings before heading their way to try out the food. Now to the good stuff. The keema methi parantha was spicy but keema was dry. The gobi parantha was perfect just like my mom makes it! The parantha comes with achar and raitha and butter. Overall I would love to get a good quantity for what I'm paying for. May or may not come back but a good spot to try once.

Firstly, wow! 101 parathas! You gotta be kidding me! I came with my friends here and definitely didn't get disappointed! I'm fan of their Gobi paratha - tastes just right! I somewhat don't enjoy their chole as much but daal makhani is really tasty! You can also enjoy their variety of pickles in the restaurant! For the size of the paratha, the price seems a little high but I guess you get a good portion of side as well to compensate for the price!Overall, had a great experience! Love the vibe too!

The food is always delicious. It's clean and the staff is always prompt. The Dal makhani is better than many high end restaurants.
