Me and my husband wanted something to do so we decided to go to a Escape Room. We found 1 hour to escape on Yelp and decided to give it a try! We did not have reservations before going in there. The lady that greeted us was very friendly and prompt to help us and explain all about the game. She told us all their rooms but one were busy. The Study was the one that is was free and she said that was the second most difficult one. That did not scare us! We waited a little bit for them to get the room ready and they have a wait room full of games for us to play! So even the little time we waited was a lot of fun! Once inside the study she explained the rules and we started. You are allowed to ask for 3 hints and you can use a walkie-talkie to communicate with them. We had the mystery solved! So much fun!

We had done another escape room and really liked the experience so we had some out of town guests and wanted to try something different with them. We had the corporate espionage room which was very basic. The decor was absolutely uninteresting and there were very few puzzles. Most of it was password related on a computer which felt a little like it was something I could have done at home. The staff was lovely but very young. Like the both could have been 16. The facility is bland as you'd expect. It's just a small corporate office space.Given our experiences between this one and the other, I think we would prefer Escape HQ. But plot and story to go with more diverse Locks too.

What a great experience. I started with multiple phone calls to the establishment where all the employees were so nice and easy to talk to and most importantly extremely helpful. (We purchased the groupon)When my party of 11 got there, they were able to get us moving really quickly and answered all our questions. The overall escape room was a lot of fun. And would be something we did again here! Thanks again to the entire staff for being so fun and hilarious and easy going.

These guys know how to accommodate a group! It was my buddies 40th birthday and we were unsure of the size of the group, but they were great about handling our need for flexibility. We did the ruins room and it was awesome. We had the best time and it was perfect for the size of the group we had. It was a great experience, was well hosted and perfect for our surprise.Thank you so much!

What a fun place! I went with my wife and one of her friends. The lady who greeted us was very nice and welcoming. We chose The Study as our room and it didn't disappoint! Wonderfully done with some great puzzles. Other escape rooms I've been to were immersive into their storylines etc, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. Verdict: I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun time in Lewisville!

Been here twice. My first visit was with a group of 8 and we did the Corporate Espionage room, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Super fun experience! For my second visit, I brought a group of eight 14 year olds who were signed up to do the Bank Heist room. It was an absolute fun experience, with challenging but not impossible clues. The staff did a fantastic job explaining the theme and assisting the kids with their questions. P.S. Get the Groupon!

The Ruins Room was the best so far, but I have only been in "The Bank Heist" and "The Ruins". I plan on telling everyone I know and then some. We have had two birthday parties there at two different times. During one of them, so many guests wanted to go to 1 Hour to Escape that we used two rooms with two teams and we competed to see which team could make it out first. Lots of fun for active people! I will go again.

Yes. Buy the Groupon; it's a great deal! This place is a little bit off of the beaten path, in an industrial district far away from anything else so make sure you get something to eat before. When you enter the building, you sign your waiver. Then there are maze balls to play with while you wait for the room to open up. This is a great time to get to know your team. If your entire team shows up early, you are allowed to start early. When everyone has arrived, the team is told the theme and backstory of the room. Then they are shown how to enter the combinations in the locks. I really loved that they wanted you to waste as little time as possible. You are allowed to call over the radio and see if you have the correct combination. We never did that, but I loved that the option was there. You are also offered 3 hints (our team used 2 hints towards the end). When we got into the room, the decor was not cheesy or overdone. It looks like a clean and organized man lived there. It was easy to find things to investigate. We had 3 teenagers and they were awesome and super well behaved, but we also went at 10:40pm, so I'm sure the mom knew they would be okay. We also had a girl in a wheelchair and she could do everything anyone else could do. General tips on escape rooms:1. Work as a team. Call people over when you find something. They might see something you don't.2. Don't be a puzzle hog! If you don't get it, let someone else try. Don't snatch the puzzle from someone else's hands. 3. Try to include people as much as possible. We had a puzzle that I suggested we move over a couple of feet so 5 people could work on it instead of 2. To conclude: we made it out of Fallout Shelter with 12 minutes remaining! That room has a 48% escape rate and was very fun. Perfect for first escape room.

We had the best time here last weekend!! We were on a double date and paired with another group in our room. The clues were challenging, but not impossible. Our room (The Study) had a 20% success rate and we made it with 5 minutes to spare! It was a blast and I will absolutely return! The staff were helpful and did a great job explaining what to do (it was our first time).

People their die. With blood and tears."Be careful what you wish for, you may receive it." --AnonymousPart IWithout, the night was cold and wet, but in the small parlour of Laburnum villa the blinds were drawn and the fire burned brightly. Father and son were at chess; the former, who possessed ideas about the game involving radical chances, putting his king into such sharp and unnecessary perils that it even provoked comment from the white-haired old lady knitting placidly by the fire."Hark at the wind," said Mr. White, who, having seen a fatal mistake after it was too late, was amiably desirous of preventing his son from seeing it."I'm listening," said the latter grimly surveying the board as he stretched out his hand. "Check.""I should hardly think that he's come tonight, " said his father, with his hand poised over the board."Mate," replied the son.
