"It's always nice when we do get a chance to come here. Just wanted the kiddos to have a lil bit of normalcy. They have been great troopers and had a blast. The park was clean and debris free and smelled like chlorine... when things get back to normal we will be back more. Until then it was fun, nice and cool for the kids to have a day of freedom."

"When my husband and I first looked at moving into the neighborhood, having an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in the area was one of the positive points of buying here. Unfortunately, Covid changed how everyone viewed movies, and Alamo couldn't survive. They closed all of the DFW locations recently. Thankfully someone stepped in, bought the Richardson location and recently reopened it. While we don't go to the theater very often, we felt it was necessary to get out and see a movie here soon. We want to support this company and make sure it continues to operate. You can buy your tickets in advance online and pick your seats. I personally use Fandango to this. It was really easy to see the theater configuration and pick seats accordingly. Tickets were about $15 each for a Monday night showing of a film that had been in theaters for at least a few weeks. When we entered the cinema, all I had to provide was the confirmation number to the box office (which also appeared to be the bartender?). He was kind and gave us all of the necessary information, "You are in theater 4 that it is at the end of the hall on the right. You are in row 6, and you have seats 6 and 7."Alamo has a variety of theater rooms. Some are traditional big screens that can seat lots of people. The sound is intensely loud. The leather recliner chairs have a half table that holds the menu and can swing in close so you can eat and drink without hopefully getting it all over yourself. We saw Alien Romulus on the big screen. There were only about 6-7 people in our theater. Since it wasn't packed, it was quite cool. This is a great way to escape the Texas heat for a while. The sound was loud and clear and added to the intensity of the horror. These types of movies are always best at the theater for this reason. One of the earlier shows was in a smaller theater. We originally wanted to go at 5, but we didn't want to see the show on a smaller screen...might as well stay home and watch TV for that. I love that Alamo has a bar and kitchen for providing a pre-, during, and post- hangout meal. Just know that an 18% gratuity is automatically included with your bill for the waitstaff. This means a bowl of popcorn and a large coke will run you $20. Ouch! We ate dinner before we came to avoid running up a large tab. We will definitely be back for any of the big budget action films that look amazing on the big screen."

Right on the corner of the Mexican consulate building. Free and plenty of parking. Nice to find good food around this area that is scarce of food options. Definitely coming back. "I need to make it a weekly trip to Industrial because, seriously, everything I've tasted so far has been the bomb. Idk what's wrong with me that I haven't already tried them all! Anything brisket from the meatball appetizer to the Pitmaster is a guaranteed winner. If you're a crust person this might be for you. The pies here are thin. Me, personally, that's the way I like it because I hate the gut guilt that comes with thick or even regular crust. Here I can a full pizza and not suffer the typical consequences after it's too late. The decor has got some swag to it and outside patio seating is a great way to enjoy some slices on a nice day. On a cold day, though, the heat lanterns won't help. Special shout out to the owner, Hunter. Really warm, sweet guy who has always interacted with us whether it's just walking in or checking to see how our food is. Very cool dude."

"How fantastic food can get ruined at the pass... Five star food, 2 star service from the kitchen.BEST sushi I have ever had locally or internationally. The Caesar roll is fantastic. Scallop roll was very good. Sashimi was good. Sweet and sour soup was among the best we have ever had. BUT - with six people working the sushi line, and several people in the hot kitchen, and TWO managers hiding at the pass...and only 6 tables seated early on a Saturday night (it was full when we left at 6:30) the delay in receiving food was among the longest we have ever experience.There were three in our party, two ordered sushi one ordered broccoli chicken. The waiter said the food would be out in about 10 minutes. I have never had a waiter quote delivery times - odd. The rolls arrived in 15 minutes. The broccoli chicken arrived in 25 minutes - after the rolls had already been finished. When the chicken arrived, it was loaded with garlic (not mentioned on the menu) - the waiter offered to have it remade and assured us it would be fast. 15 minutes later (45 minutes total now since the original order) the food arrived. Apparently, with no garlic sauce, they had no idea how to season the chicken. It was basically bland boiled chicken and vegetables beautifully presented. So we took a to-go box and left.At this point, both managers were standing in the foyer. There was no " How was your meal?" No " Thank you for coming." There was no awareness whatsoever that food had been sent back and that a party had spent 45 minutes of their 1 hour in the restaurant waiting for food.Like I said, it was the best sushi I've ever had, but the experience totally ruined it. Clearly, the managers' spending all their time in the kitchen indicates they know where the problem is, but this location has been open for a year--they should have it right by now. P.S. Canned Diet Coke in a place where a simple dinner for 3 without alcohol or desert is $100? Blue Fish is only 10 minutes down the road in Irving..."

"The staff at the Crescent were fantastic! I visited in July for their afternoon tea while on vacation in Dallas. After making my reservation I needed to add an extra person, and even though the event had sold out the staff were amazing at helping me to add an extra guest. Then when the day arrived my +1 was ill. Once again the staff were gracious and helpful in modifying the reservation. The afternoon tea itself was delightful, with a harpist for entertainment and a delicious menu. I added on the champagne option which came with free flowing champagne, it was a great deal. I'd very happily come back my next trip through Dallas."

"It's not often you find an entirely gluten free menu, so I'm always going go love HG Sply. Where else can I find gluten free fried chicken sandwiches and meatballs and mac & cheese? HG is known for their clean, simple food and their signature bowls. The menu is stacked with all the proteins ("hunted"), and veggie/rice/bean sides ("gathered") you can think of. Build your own bowl or order of HG's specials. Last time I was in I shared the following with a friend: French fries with 4 dipping sauces, the pasture raised beef filet (with a coconut chimichurri butter), chicken kebab, crispy Brussel sprouts, and mashed garlicky Yukon gold potatoes. All of the food really was so good, just good eating! Our steak was perfectly cooked and the Italian red they have on the menu pairs well with it. Alec was our phenomenal waiter who took top tier care of us. Such an overall really enjoyable experience, I'm already itching for an excuse to go back asap!"

"Went here for breakfast cause I wanted to try this place for so longg.. I saw it everyday while I drove to work and knew I had to give it a try!Ordered gyro omelette with potatoes and biscuits! The omelette tasted amazing! The lamb meat was so flavorful we absolutely loved it! Also, to satisfy our sweet tooth, we ordered our usual banana, strawberries, and nutella french toast which was also amazing! The only reason for 4 stars is cause our server was not very good.. she never asked us for sides when we ordered and gave a super vague reason that a lot of people don't order sides so I don't ask them unless they actually tell me.. I have never heard this reason from anyone! Also, they only refilled our coffee once! I being a breakfast person, have been to multiple brunch and breakfast places and have always had more than 2 refills offered! Oh well, at least the breakfast was good..."

"Quinlans is a quaint neighborhood bar serving up legit drinks and food! They have several TVs for those who want to catch the next big game. There's also a DJ who comes in weekly, BBQ truck one night...these are just a couple of the great examples of the entertainment they bring in--and they're always playing great music too. The staff always provides great, lively and positive service.A great and extensive menu for being a fairly small pub. They have all you bar food favs like burgers, wings, hot pretzels, pizza, and you can even get meatloaf if that's your thing. I recently tried the French dip and it did not disappoint!!!"

They paired well with the sauce, similar to remoulade.The fried chicken was fried perfectly. It ain't Popeyes folks! I believe it was marinated in curry! This entree is enough food for 2. Don't get cute, solo eater. You WON'T finish it! I was concerned about the breast being dry....probably the juiciest breast I've ever had! The cornbread brioche wasn't my fave (not a fan or cornbread or brioche lol) Everything needed a little salt....probably why my cholesterol is high. I wish there were more of the greens! Tender, flavorful!I probably won't be back; born and raised here and have visited this area a total of 10 times, but if someone asks where they should eat in Bishop Arts, I'll say, "Check out Pillar!""

"We came here with our boys to celebrate NYE. The service was wonderful! I had the red snapper & mashed potatoes! It was delicious! Our boys had a pizza and their enjoyed it too. The ambiance was perfect for a family meal and outing."

"I saw this on TikTok and gave it a try. I ordered delivery. Due to the distance, I wasn't surprised that it wasn't piping hot upon arrival, so no issue with that. The arrival time did extend, however, I was just glad delivery was available for my area. I got the jerk chicken taco and the oxtail pizza. Both tasted good. I do regret selecting grilled onions on the taco. FYI, use choose a taco, then you have all of these options as to what you want on it. I thought they would be more like a few soft, caramelized type grilled onions. My fault. I did pick those off. For you onion lovers, you get a lot. I also added more cheese of my own. The taco was huge. It came with a side of jerk sauce. There was more than enough jerk chicken for 2 regular size tacos. The oxtail pizza. Never would I have imagined I could have both oxtails and pizza as one dish. Definitely not your typical pizza. Lots of meat and lots of cheese. That alone sold me. If you're not a cheese lover like myself, you may have to request less. Don't expect a lot of pizza sauce like traditional pizzas either. Think meat pie plus cheese to get an idea. The crust was great. There are other menu items I plan to try, as well."

"Grabbed a nightcap here after dinner! Highly recommend getting there early if you want to take pictures! Got there about 7:30 on a Saturday, and it was completely empty! We were told to grab any seat, we decided on a couch in the library ofc. And our waitress came to give us menus to order off of. People slowly did start rolling in as the night went on. Overall, great place to get a drink for a girl's night out or a nightcap after dinner. Super unique decor and vibey!"

"I visited twice and ordered the burger with grilled jalapeños, oysters, and salmon with white rice and vegetables. Overall, the burger was decent. The vegetables were well-seasoned, but the rice was bland, and the salmon lacked significant flavor. The gumbo was underwhelming, and the stuffed jalapeños were not worth ordering. However, the service was good. I'd consider returning to try the catfish since many people ordered it, but the oysters were terrible--they tasted like dirty lake water."

"The Meadows just keeps getting better and better. As I've mentioned in other reviews,I discovered it on the SMU campus many years ago. Before they moved to this new facility it was very small and seemingly inconsequential. However,they did have a small collection of religious narrative 15th century Spanish art.That collection has grown with the addition of many masterpieces old and new. I can't get enough of The Meadows and it's especially nice when traveling exhibits show up Like the Legacy of Vesuvius. This show tells the story of King Charles of Bourbon and the impact his art collecting had on the world. Extremely interesting. Here for another month you still have time to catch it Go!"

"What a terrific visit we had to Talley Dunn on Saturday. It was a random suggestion and a highlight of the day. The space is generous and the three artists being shown Ted Kincaid, Aaron Parazette, and Robyn O'Neill were all engaging. Beth was friendly and knowledgeable about all relating to the artists and their work. It is a quirky spot, but well worth the trip."

There was a shuttle bus that took us to and from the rodeoFood: there were a handful of food vendors serving chicken tenders, tacos, fries, BBQ, etc. (nothing healthy! Don't expect it LOL) Rodeo: it was our first one here in TX, so i wasnt sure what to expect! Seating is first come first serve unless you pay for the reserved VIP seats. I would recommend getting there early to snag a good spot. It was an entertaining night! There were some contestants that flew in from Canada to compete! Kid friendly activities on the rodeo grounds."

"We love it here! I have no idea why this place has as little starts as it does...we love it! First off, you can come here dressed up or down and feel like you fit in! The atmosphere is great. We love it here. Not to mention, the food comes out FAST and HOT! It's PERFECT for a hangry girl like myself. ;) Not to mention, it's delicious. We weren't willing to wait an HOUR to eat at Haywire, so we (excitedly) bailed and came straight to our favorite spot -- Campisi's! Such a happy accident. The young man assisting us seemed to be the only person working. He was very helpful and kind. There were very few things open to do with kids on a Monday so we waited several hours for this place to open and were disappointed that we could not do an escape room or anything else. It would be helpful if it indicated that only bowling and video games were available until 5."

Being new, the place is very well kept.The items that we had were very good (I am told that not all items are good here...especially samosas and puffs that are pre-made). The items that we had were:1) Samosa chaat - made fresh and very spicy...catering to the authentic Indian taste2) Sev poori - made to order3) Coffee (Indian style) - this is not the authentic South Indian filter coffee...but was still very rich and good.4) Cookies - their cookies are very tasty (available as 6, 12, 18 or 24). These go well with the coffee or tea that they serve.I will definitely go here again for the above mentioned items!"
