Very yummy korean food in Convoy, better than most spots.Bossam was a little disappointing, kinda dry and I wished they also gave us cabbage that wasn't pickled. The radish was AMAZING THOUGH SO GOOD. Very bouncy flavor and not too sour me like. Budae jigae was good, soup was very hearty, just wished there were more stuff in the soup. Side dishes were good, love the creamy coleslaw one SO BOMB. Fish cake was great too.

Parking: Parking here is normally a struggle but we were very fortunate to come as two cars were leaving. There is a ADA spot right by the front and a couple more around the parking lot.Atmosphere: Small fast pace indoor dining, I believe they have about 9 tables but while we were there they put them together to accommodate a large party of about 8 in the middle.Service: Great service and waitresses offer great recommendations.Food Recommendations: We ordered a few popular items our waitress recommended and what stood out were the crispy seafood pancake and ddukbokki with noodles on the side so it doesn't get too soggy.Supports Military: No DiscountOverall: Great food and service. It was a bit pricey for the portion but would still return to try out other great items on their menu.

Dalbam really hit the spot and fulfilled my Korean food craving! So glad I found and tried this new spot. The restaurant itself is not huge and the decor matches the name with the moon and stars theme throughout the restaurant, and of course k-pop playing in the TVs. We came for an early dinner so it wasn't super crowded and the service was very timely and friendly. The menu isn't extensive but has a good selection and made it very hard for me to choose only a few dishes. I landed on the grilled pork belly and Budae army hot pot. Like I said, it totally hit the spot as everything was delicious! The pork belly was so crispy and flavorful and the hot pot had a big variety of stuff in it (spam!). I also appreciated that it had some heat but not unbearable. I don't believe the picture does it justice but this is huge...between 2 people we couldn't finish it and had to take the rest home. Let me tell you, it was still tasty the next day and for 2 meals, the price was definitely worth it. Amazing spot and I will be back to try the other dishes!

Felt like an authentic Korean bar as we walked in for dinner yesterday and I am happy to report that the food was just as authentic to match! I recently had Bossam elsewhere and while it isn't usually a dish I'd gravitate towards, I felt that they did a solid job here with the quality and fixings included. My only gripe was that they didn't include a lot of cabbage on the dish itself but we were able to request some extra cabbage easily. The Jjyeolmyeon was probably my favorite dish as it was the perfect way to end a warm summer night with cold spicy noodles. They unfortunately do not have any happy hour or drink specials... yet.

Decided to check out this new Korean spot in convoy last night, located in the same plaza as Cross Street Chicken. Parking in this plaza is always tight and limited, but it wasn't too bad when we went around 9pm. The restaurant itself was very small with about 8-9 tables. Cutely decorated with stars and moons and Kpop music playing on the speakers and shown on their TVs. We came to try their grilled intestine but were told unfortunately they were out of it last night. So we got their grilled pork belly, takoyaki, and spicy ramen. At first taste of our ramen, it was extremely salty. After letting our server know, they kindly brought out extra soup base for us to add to dilute the broth a bit which helped. Grilled pork belly portion was on the small side for the price and was also salty for our taste. Takoyaki was decent. A server brought out a corn cheese for us on the house which was very nice of them. The corn here is a sweet corn cheese rather than savory. Overall I wasn't highly impressed with the food we got to try. They open late though which is nice for those who can't make dinner before 9pm. I would still come back to try the grilled intestine and bossam. Will update this review if I do!

A local Asian family has been expanding its empire in the Convoy District with this new venture featuring a late night closing time. Dalbam Moon Night has replaced a short-lived Japanese kushiyaki and ramen shop in the same plaza as Cross Street Chicken and Beer. The seating capacity was limited to less than three dozen customers spread across a few booths and tables. Casual Korean comfort food was the theme of the menu with appetizers, noodles, soups/stews, hot pot, and entrees as the category choices. For my meal, I started with the Bindaedduk which was a meat and vegetable pancake served with a soy dipping sauce. The item took longer to prepare so it didn't arrive at my table until after my entree. The pancake was crispy and had sufficient flavor that I didn't need to use much of the sauce. The other dish I selected was the Bulgogi with chicken as the protein and glass noodles as a side. It was pretty typical except that I didn't select beef as the traditional meat. I wished the portion size was more for the $20+ price.I did receive unlimited banchan servings of which there were four types... seasoned bean sprouts, seasoned spinach, kimchi, and creamy coleslaw. That was a nice complimentary touch given I had recently visited another new Korean eatery which did not offer any banchan with my food. Between this and the polite service, I rounded my rating up to four stars for my dinner at Dalbam Moon Night.

I've been back to Dalbam twice since my initial opening night review, and it continues to be wonderful - it's also been busy, so I'm happy to see them doing well! Other dishes I've now tried: bulgogi - super flavorful and tender, tteokbokki - so good with cheese added, maeun cheese dakgui - we were warned it would be spicier that we may anticipate and they offered to make it a bit milder for us, we probably would have been fine with the normal spicy level but it was delicious and I appreciated the recommendation, chadol yukgaejang - I was feeling a little under the weather and this really hit the spot.

My friend told me great things about this spot so we decided to give it a try and we ended up liking it so much we came back for a second night in a row!! Food items I tried: Tofu Kimchi, Tteobokki, Budae Jiggae, Odentang, Bossam, Kimchi JiggaeMy #1 favorite food I have tried here is the BOSSAM! It's actually amazing and tastes so good. My friends and I all agreed it's their best menu item. I also personally really enjoyed the Tofu Kimchi and Budae Jiggae but everything I had tried was awesome! I also liked that their tteobokki was not very sweet. Service was great and I liked the interior a lot. The little booths are fun to sit in. They only have a few tables though so once they're all taken, it might be hard to get sat for a while. I'll definitely be back!

It is a new and cool spot of Korean food in convoy! We four to have dinner on a Sunday night, I highly recommend a reservation because it was busy. We ordered 4 dishes which are bossam, seafood pancakes, which these two are our favorites. We also had bulgogi, I think it is a little too sweet. And kimchi jjigae is very heavy taste, if you like super flavorful and a little bit over seasoned food, you probably will like it. The restaurant is a little smaller than I thought while it is nice decorated.
