Dakota Blue provided a delightful brunch experience last weekend. The outdoor seating was a perfect choice for the beautiful spring weather. The server was friendly and offered excellent recommendations. I tried their mango margarita, which was both refreshing and potent, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. For my main dish, I ordered the Southern Chix, which featured fried chicken on a biscuit. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The biscuits were incredibly buttery, adding a rich and savory element to the dish. Overall, Dakota Blue exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch spot.

Enjoyed a casual brunch at Dakota Blue and it did not disappoint. The server was a tad slow greeting us with menus and water however when they were ready for us they were kind, helpful and attentive! For food I enjoyed the Caveman Hash which was fresh with sweet sweet potatoes, avocado, black beans, scrambled egg (instead of fried) and had a punchy mimosa. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their southern chicken biscuits and tried & trues. Will definitely be back f

Sat outside for lunch and it was not a pleasant experience. Flys everywhere I could barely eat. I got the spinach artichoke dip. It was just ok and the sweet potato hash bowl with fried chicken. The fried chicken was hard and overcooked with no flavor. I wouldn't recommend the fried chicken at all. The dish didn't come together at all, too much going on.

This is a nice neighborhood gem with a nice variety of burgers to try. I enjoyed the death tots. The serving portion is enough to share with two or three people. The flavors are amazing. The chicken sandwich was also another winner. Chicken flavored to perfection. The service was also great.

The prices are so good at Dakota Blue, I strongly suspect they may own the building. Five stars because of the excellent value here.Sometimes you want to grab some munchies without posing for your hipster friends or your Yelp account. A little neighborhood vibe may be just the thing for days like this. I've got little kids, so unless it's date night, it's better for the food to be fun and uncomplicated. DB is in the northwest corner of Grant Park, in a building that looks a lot like an old-timey Masonic lodge. It's across the street from Grant Central Pizza, with maybe four or five outdoor tables and a decent size dining room away from the bar. We sat outside and ordered up some bar food. There's a little southwestiness to the menu, with a quesadilla here, a burrito there. I got the fish tacos, which came out on corn tortillas, topped with a cabbage slaw that smelled faintly of sesame oil. Kids got grilled cheese. So, the fish tacos were really something. They were a little crispy and the slaw provided just enough crunch. I've had fish tacos before where the coarseness of the slaw is not managed properly. Not here! Added some hot sauce between bites and enjoyed it all thoroughly. Will order these tacos again. In a town where four people can't get a sit down meal for less than $60 bucks most days, we paid a cool $37.00 (no alcohol). Sweet deal!

Great service, a killer Tex-Mex brunch menu, and a sweet, neighborhood vibe make Dakota Blue a perfect weekend spot. We stopped in on a quiet, Sunday morning for brunch and found one of their sidewalk tables the perfect setting for conversation and people-watching. After a great margarita, we settled in to our entrees. She went with the Dallas Cowboy- a huge egg and vegetarian sausage breakfast burrito- whereas I had the veggie burrito, chockful of delicious and fresh produce. Our server was attentive, friendly, and low key, and I admired the groups of regulars that gathered at nearby tables, making for a lively Sunday morning scene. A new brunch favorite.

Absurdly rude today. If you're busy, understandable but don't be so rude to someone who placed a large order in advance. Obviously they can't handle it.

Great friendly service today. Drinks were fantastic. Spicy pineapple margarita was amazing. Place was intimate and cozy and portions were huge. We will return next time we are in Atlanta.

Service was okay! That's what the 3 stars are for. I initially sat at the bar but I just knew that I would leave smelling like food, so I moved to sit outside. I order the black and blue burger/Turkey and fries. I was sooo ready to try this burger and I couldn't even eat it all. I was so hungry but pissed because the burger was soo salty it burned my mouth! I told the server and she was just like "oh, sorry about that". did nothing to rectify. too many burger spots around town to settle for a salty Turkey.

Pretty mid place - I've taken out from here twice: first time I got the chicken burrito; this time I got the chicken sliders. I will say the sliders were pretty tasty but the portion is far smaller than the burrito (the burrito is massive btw), even though the sliders are $1 more than the burrito. It's still pretty cost effective though since both items come with a side. I usually get tots since not many places offer that as a side and I love tots, but again, pretty mid tots - they're usually a bit overfried. I'd say come here for a cost effective meal but don't expect to be amazed
