OMG - this adorable little bakery popped up in my Yelp search, it had so many stars, I had to try it out.We bought the last two cinnamon rolls. Wow yummy!!! I would love to try their other pastries. Seems like a place you need to go early or the sellout. Service was quick and simple, convenient location and coffee house vibes.

Great coffee and great donuts. For the donuts, we got all the Flavors. My personal flavorite was the Matcha Yuzu. It's a subtle matcha flavor with the zing of yuzu. The crowd favorite was probably Orange Tamarind. It is a mochi donut (so rice flour, gluten free). It's nothing like a Mochinut or those ones that look like teething rings lol. It's a really dense yet easy to bite into, much more like a creamier cake donut.I think every flavor is worth trying so definitely come hungry! Very limited seating, expect to grab and go.

Dahlia Bakery is a cute bakery in downtown Seattle open everyday 8:00am - 3:00pm. There are a few countertop seats right by the display case, tables inside, and some tables outside too. Dahlia Bakery is home to the world famous triple coconut cream pie so I had to try it. The menu also offers sandwiches, toast, salad, soup, croissants, focaccia, and a variety of sweets - pie, mochi donuts, and cookies. The Coco Pie Slice was $13.00 and had a coconut crust, shredded coconut cream filling, swirls of fresh whipped cream, toasted coconut, white chocolate shavings. If you love coconut like me, this was wonderful. The coconut pie was smooth and not too sweet. Definitely great for sharing. My husband also had a Chocolate Truffle for $4.00 and he enjoyed it.Come by and check out the coco pie!

Everybody knows about the coconut cream pie, everybody. IF NOT, remedy that vacancy IMMEDIATELY!!!-it truly is the platonic ideal of coconut desserts, if not coconut used in edible form.HOWEVER, today (after intermittently consuming edibles from this purveyor of baked goods since transplanting here some 25 years ago, I review donuts (as most reviews). I am a proverbial zombie to engage in a first bite of a Donut.A Sunday morning found me and my adolescent in tow with some extra time and I could not remember the last time I crossed the threshold of the bakery (rather than enjoying branded treats at another of Tom Douglas's eateries).Mochi-nuts, gluten free donuts. All six flavors, equal in function and form.Guava, orange-tamarind, dirty chai, German chocolate, funfetti, and matcha yuza,The orange tamarind had a vibrancy and zing not unlike my homemade cold brew coffee (that I'm petty sure isn't street legal with its concentration of consumable caffeine). Spark.Zest.We wanted more.Thankfully there were other donuts in the box.All delicious, all of them. This is truly an Indian statement for me to make regarding fried dough. But, they all are good. The orange does stand tall among giants this morning. As evidenced, the picture today was lucky to have captured half-eaten pastry as they quickly disappeared.

Dropped in at 2:30 PM on a Friday without a wait and picked up a slice of their triple coconut cream pie ($13). Made of a crunchy coconut crust, shredded coconut cream filling, fresh whipped cream, toasted coconut, and white chocolate shavings, you will definitely enjoy this if you like coconut. It wasn't too sweet and the mix of textures made for a tasty and interesting dessert. We shared it between two people.

Average food, basic ambience and very rude staff is my review about Dahlia in a nutshell.I don't really understand the hype about this place, given the fact that their menu is basic and limited and they treat their customers rudely. It's not a dine in place, you have to order your food and they call out your name with the order. Everything is packed into to-go boxes. For a place like this that offers literally no service whatsoever, the fact that the staff was rude was kind of odd. Please steer clear of this place and save your time and money and check out other bakeries in the area.

Warm light and wood greet you fresh from the rain, or at least it did the day we visited. There is covered outdoor seating too. The staff were friendly and helpful with navigating the menu. We came for the peanut butter sandwich cookies but stayed for a savory turkey sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, and cup of white bean and kale soup. All fresh, warm and filling. Would recommend, rain or shine.

The coconut cream pie is worth every penny and whatever journey it takes to get here! The chocolate cookie was incredible too, just melts in your mouth. Service was great. Atmosphere is spot on. They helped us with a to go order with all the necessary deets. Everything is scratch made, incredible recipes.

This is the place to go when you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth or when you have a craving for the famous Triple Coconut Cream Pie. On this visit, since I picking up lunch nearby, I opted for the chocolate truffle cookie, which is quite decadent. Dahlia Bakery also has delicious breakfast sandwiches, which are served all day now. The bacon & egg and ham & egg on their house english muffins are my favorites. The arugula and smoked paprika aioli brings it all together for a tasty sandwich. They also have a freezer section where they sell their english muffins, biscuits, pie crusts, cinnamon rolls, soups and other items that you can take home to bake or reheat.Lines will form in the morning and especially on the weekends. Ordering online has worked well.

Had an entirely adequate breakfast here this morning with friends. Did I love it? No. But then, it is always a challenge to avoid gluten at a non-specialty bakery. I gave it 3 stars, but dining partner gave it 4 and he's been here more than once, so we're rounding up.The Oh Mochi donut was not my favorite. I got the gluten free orange-tamarind donut, and I was hoping to have some of the tang of tamarind and the chewiness of mochi, and instead it was a sweet orange cake donut, very sweet and sticky, and no bouncy chewy mochi-ness. We also ordered a Triple Coconut Cream Pie bite - $5 for something about the size of a mini cupcake - if you like coconut cream pie I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I thought it was good but not phenomenal (I didn't have any of the crust). The dense coconut filling felt very heavy (and felt like it was pastry cream based, with wheat flour, so I stopped right away on that) but the whipped cream was very nice.Dining partner really liked his breakfast sandwich. The option for GF on the veggie egg breakfast sandwich (roasted mushrooms, kale, truffle cheese, fried egg, black pepper aioli, toasted english muffin) is two eggs instead of the muffin - which is very nice and thoughtful. The eggs were solidly overcooked, there was no cheese, and there were 3 or 4 mushroom slices. and a small amount of sauteed kale. Nicely, they have decaf coffee, but only have oat milk as a DF option, so with my meal I had a teeny tiny shot of decaf espresso. I think this meal was a nice try, and I appreciate the team's effort, but it ... well, there was no element of delicious breakfast to it. The dining area cuts over to Serious Pie only after 11am, so you may not want to have a late breakfast here. You have to order at the counter and then go get your food - no table service. The guy that took my order was very helpful and I appreciated his assistance.
