Hidden beside a Starbucks. Not a well known brand. Very large dining in facility (bigger than they need). Clean.Owner operated. Great chicken sandwiches - always get crispy Nashville medium. No pickles. They get the order right, it is delivered to your table in less than 3 minutes and it is beautifully cooked. Delicious. This place should be busier. Location?

I had some time to kill and noticed a chicken shack I've never tried. I love fried chicken so decided to stop in. It was an odd time of the day 3:30. And the place was empty. The person at the register had trouble working it.I ordered the Simple Daddy. I got a fairly decent looking chicken sandwich for the price. But no sauce. And I wasn't asked if I wanted sauce. OkMaybe this chicken is so good it doesn't need sauce of any kind. Nah. It is good. And it was simple. But the chicken fell right out of the breading as I ate it. The meat seemed cooked. But it was a bit chewy as if undercooked. I ate it all pretty quickly. Not bad. Not great. But maybe I'm not a simple kind of guy.

I stopped in Daddy's yesterday to try their chicken. The place was empty. I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich to go. They deep fried the waffle!! The cook took out the chicken patty from the fryer with a temp probe and even though the chicken patty was still hot when I got it home, the waffle was weird. Would have been better if it was on a waffle iron like normal. Don't think I'll be back. I'll stick with Louisiana chicken on 90th! ;-)

Worst example of a funnel cake/waffle. Hard over cooked not edible. We got 3 for a fun dessert and all went in the trash after one bite.

Daddy's Chicken Shack was empty, and it took too long for my sandwich. The floor was sticky and needed a good mopping. The tables need to be cleaned. Someone spilled soda, and it remained on the table and chair. Easy fixes. I ordered a BBQ Daddy chicken sandwich, yet it was spicy - there was no mention of that on the menu. It's pricey for what you get; there are so many better chicken sandwich places in the area for a better price.

The chicken was good, although we should have eaten there, the drive home resulted in a soggy sandwich. It also meant I didn't realize that we didn't get the fried pickles or the loaded fries we paid for until it was too late (the bag was stapled shut and I didn't check before leaving). The low rating is because when I tried multiple times to call the restaurant when seeing we did not get our full order, there was no answer. I did leave a message, but never received a call back. It has now been 3 weeks. I also received their survey email, which states to include your contact information if you would like them to follow up, which I did, but again no response. So I find it hard to promote a place that charged $11.49 for items they did not include (which represents about 30% of the total bill, not including the 15% tip I also included with my online order), and makes no attempt to communicate with their customer.

This place was absolutely gross. the tables were filthy, the floor around the drinks was so sticky, I almost stepped out my shoe. The frilled chicken sandwiches were like rubber and the salad was wilted. We ended up not eating even though we already paid for our food..which was not cheap either.

Love this place!! Come here all the time but today's experience wasn't the greatest. Half empty containers.... Raised the prices and gave me half of what we usually get (ordered a tenders family meal and extra sides) just very disappointing. Kinda not worth the drive or disappointment at this point.

My recent visit to Daddy's Chicken Shack left much to be desired. While the food wasn't outright terrible, there were several glaring issues that marred the experience.Let's start with the chicken itself. The breading, supposedly a highlight, fell short of expectations. It lacked the crispy perfection one hopes for in fried chicken. Moreover, the flavor was notably bland, failing to deliver.Service was another sore point. Despite clearly requesting no pickles on my order, my sandwich arrived drowning in them. It was frustrating to see such a basic request ignored. The attendant seemed clueless and disinterested, with a toothpick dangling from his mouth throughout our interaction. This lack of professionalism was off-putting and reflected poorly on the establishment.On a positive note, the place appeared clean and well-maintained. However, they could improve by ensuring basics like stocked straws and a tidier drink fountain area.Overall, Daddy's Chicken Shack falls short of its potential. With lackluster food and subpar service, it's difficult to recommend this place for anything beyond a quick, cautious visit.
