Daboba @ Kearny Mesa

Best boba place in SD! Their menu has options for everyone whether you're a milk tea or fruity drink lover or both. I've tried the Butterfly Pea Flower Milk Tea, Roasted Brown Sugar + Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea/Pearl Choco, Oolong Milk Tea, Strawberry Yogurt, Peach Yogurt. I like all of them, but my absolute favorites are the Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea (w/ half boba half Oreo) and Strawberry Yogurt (w/ half boba half coconut jelly). My husband's favorite is the Strawberry Yogurt as well. The boba is chewy and mildly sweet; the drinks are refreshing. We've been coming here for over a year, and quality is consistent - very yummy! There are rush times (such as Fri evening, Sat) where the lines goes out the door and moves slowly, but that is typical of any business. They do take online orders, but I like to order in person. Employees are always nice and friendly. Interior is cute (especially the bear) and clean with ample seating.

We were anticipating a great boba shop with reviews claiming to be the "best" when it lacked quality tasting teas. There are plenty other boba places near by to try. I'm not sure how this is so highly rated unless what we ordered wasn't that great. No adjustments made to our drinks, Just not impressed. Parking's in a small lot shared with other shops.

I always see this boba spot off the freeway and say Daboba in my head haha Finally made our way here and tried their coco frappe with cheese foam with boba. Their frappes look really special compared to other boba spots so that's what I went with. It was DELICIOUS. It was kinda like chocolate milk, kinda like cookies and cream with the cheese foam to balance the sweetness. The boba was chewy and tasted pretty fresh. I love love love their cup with the bear ear lid. The inside is super clean and very modern looking and there is plenty of parking in their lot. They are right by a Tajima Ramen.I took a star off because there was only one person in front of us and no one behind us but the girls there were a little rude. They didn't really acknowledge our existence? After they took the order of the person in front of us, I was standing there for a few minutes before they finally came up to the register to take our order. There was more than one person working and there really weren't very many people inside and they all seemed to have gotten their drinks already so I'm not sure what was going on. I tried to be nice when ordering, but that didn't seem to do much and they didn't even call out our drink. They put the drink down and just walked away. I looked around to make sure someone else didn't order the same thing and took a look at the label to make sure it was ours. The drink itself was really good, price was a little high (~$8) but the service could use some work.

I stumbled upon this place since I was at another store in the same parking lot and am glad I discovered it. First off, cute name and bear mascot and their lids even have bear ears. I'd say Daboba was rather unique to me since they have a lot of drinks with cheese in them. Sadly I'm not able to eat cheese but I was able to get my taro crème frappe drink without it and instead was able to substitute it with boba. I've had a lot of taro boba and this one ranks more towards the top - really good flavor and the boba was just the right texture. I should also mention that it has a cute interior and seating area, but the front area where you order can get pretty congested since there's not much room between the door and cashier.

Another one of my favorite boba places! Whenever I come to Kearny Mesa, it's never a question if we're getting DaBoba. It has never failed me since the boba is always consistently soft and pleasant, along with the drinks. I love my classic milk tea with cheese foam, I highly recommend it if you're new to the store. The workers are always nice, patient, and they serve the drinks pretty fast even if there's a long wait. The place is also clean- there's a lot of places to sit.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the shop was. This is a great place to do some work, as there's an ample amount of seating.I got the oolong milk tea with 25% sweetness, less ice and boba. I loved the roasted oolong flavor and I loved the how chewy the boba was. Their menu had a lot of fruit tea and milk tea options. My only complain was that the portion size was a little too small for the price.

Delicious Milk-tea, Cute Ambiance and seating. The service was nice, made sure our order was correct and was made quick. They had plenty seating, plenty drink options and some desserts. The Milk-tea was perfect, the boba was sweet and chewy. Would definitely be back again, plus the name is catchy.

Daboba is located in a classic abg spot in kearny mesa and has a huge store with lots of seating.They have a vast menu with variety of drinks ranging from teas, to fruit drinks, to smoothies.We got the oolong milk tea with boba 50% sweet, 50% ice, and it was pretty sweet still with the boba. Boba was a lil too chewy but drinks came out pretty fast.Parking is okay but might get busy.Overall would recommend!

Located on 4411 mercury street, Unit 105B, San Diego, CA 92111. We were thirsty after running some errands and googled the nearest Boba shop. Daboba had great reviews and was down the block from where we were. We pulled up, noticed lots of parking spaces in the private lot along side with other shops. Walked right in, few customers were lounging around, minding their own business. The cashier helped us with our orders. Quick service! They have lots of tea, boba, toppings and yogurt selections. I went with passion fruit green tea, my kid got the green tea sweetness of 1/2 and my cousin had the mixed grains yogurt. The drinks were good! It was perfect not too overly sweet. My cousin raved about his yogurt drink and will return in the future. I've noticed it was spacious and very clean inside the shop. You can lounge, study or hang with friends. They have gender neutral bathroom. Cute wall decor. Modern table and chairs.

This was my first time going to this location and I thought it was alright! My friends and I all thought the drinks were refreshing, although a bit subtle. The cashier was sweet and took the time to explain what was in each of our drinks. There seems to be plenty of seating towards both the front of the shop and the back. I would definitely come back here to study if I'm in the area. That being said, personally I think I prefer the location in Mira Mesa. Perhaps it's just the drink that I got (coconut mango sago drink), but I found it a bit too subtle for my taste. I'd def be willing to give this location another shot though with a different drink :)
