Pops and I stopped in here late on a Thursday night and were impressed with the quality of both food and service. We weren't expecting much at this hour but were pleasantly surprised. One thing about me is I'm a sucker for a chicken sandwich! This one did not disappoint. Great flavors and extra saucy, seems to be the midwest way.Pops had the chicken cobb. he gives it a 7 out of 10. They really loaded that thing up with chicken, definitely got our moneys worth.Service really elevated this place from a 3 to a 4 though. our server was excellent, gave great recommendations for both food and drinks, and told us about lots of upcoming events in the area. Great first meal for me after my move to chicago!

Nice place for a group outing or first date. Casual food items and decent cocktails. While there is nothing wrong with the food items as a whole, they're also nothing to write home about. There used to be some cool dishes prior to the pandemic but the menu has become little more generic lately. Given that the place is near dozens of high rises, it could even be a good neighborhood joint for those living in the area. There are handful of competitions nearby by but this is less touristy option than others.

Service was pretty fast, even for a busy weekday. The outdoor courtyard seating area had a nice vibe. Got the Reuben sandwich, which was overall pretty good with amazing portion size. Could have used some more sauerkraut and sauce as it was a bit under flavored.

Needed a quick bite after enjoying the fireworks we were able to get in and get seated right away. Food was delicious. Drinks were great service was on point. Glad we got in when we did as the last the spot got really really crowded after everyone else was leaving the fireworks, thank you for taking care of us. We will be back.

We got the three sliders, one pulled pork and two beef. They were underwhelming as the beef patties were not even hot. The nachos were decent. I would recommend the place if you were near the area and need quick dinner as it's amongst the few that are open late at night.

Loved the inside of this place. Very cozy and inviting. A little lamp on each table was a nice touch. I had the crispy chicken sandwich which was delicious. It was bigger than the bun. My other half had the fish and chips. All were delicious! I would recommend.

This is one of my favorite pubs in the world. I really mean that unfortunately the only thing I really had is the chicken tenders, with the barbecue sauce, or either honey mustard. My wife had the French onion soup, which she said was cooked to perfection just the right amount of onions and cheese. They have a very extensive beer collection, and their pretzels are pretty good overall one of my favorite restaurants and I highly recommend it.

Came here for a work holiday gathering last week. We were in the Library, which is a semi-private room. The ambiance was gorgeous; there were books all over the walls so it was a very 'library' feel. They even had a fireplace going! The one downside to that was that that it got very, very warm in the room. We did eventually ask them to turn off the fireplace, which they were happy to accommodate.Drinks were good; I started off with a glass of wine and then, once I saw the menu, decided to try a black widow (allagash white, magner's cider, and black currant). The flavor was good, though the black currant syrup was heavy and pretty sweet, could have done with a bit less of that. The food was also good. We had nachos, cheese curds, and chicken tenders as shared appetizers. All were good (the chicken tenders were HUGE!), the cheese curds were a bit softer than I normally like, but the flavor was good. I had the adult grilled cheese for dinner, which was good, but could have been cheesier. The vanilla ice cream I had for dessert was great-large helping, and it was the good, rich, vanilla bean flavor.Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd go back.

We came in here on a tip from our friends, but they forgot to tell us just how big the portions are could be the best value in the city for the amount of food you get very careful in ordering. What's more of the food is fantastic hats off to the chef. We had a Reuben sandwich, fish and chips, chicken fingers, and Barada and tomato. The owner came out to greet us and was simply charming Most of the time I leave a Restaurant feeling disappointed in the amount of money I spent an amount of food I got or if it didn't taste good and we were just at Morton's steakhouse tonight before. This is the best for the buck. I've seen in three days in Chicago.

My husband & I went to D4 for happy hour. I loved the pub vibe immediately. But it went straight downhill from there. We ordered the short rib quesadillas. For 10 bucks it was airplane food that was drippingwith/ grease & full of fat. The fries were cold. I actually never have to send food back, but I did tonight. The fries were cold, so I requested a fresh order. The portion on the fries wasgood. But the truffle sauce was strange tasting & extremely sweet. Since the portions were so small, I ordered the bruschetta. No luck there either. It was saturated with just balsamic vinegar. When I go for happy hour, I expect small portions of great food. We got small portions of crappy food. There's no other way to say it. Aside from the cool pub vibe, this was a complete waste of money. We would never come back here again.
