D & D Barbeque & Ribs

Really was craving some barbecue decided to support a place I haven't been to before, and went with this one. I got the chopped dinner with macaroni and cheese along with yams. I was disappointed that the yams were canned yams and the macaroni was very mediocre as well. The chopped pork was just okay. The service was good and the outside patio was small and convenient to reflect.

Great customer service. Ordered rib sandwich and chopped chicken on 1st visit. Chopped chicken was delicious and sauced just right. I don't eat ribs, but my hard to please friend raved about them and decided this would be our new spot. Second trip no chopped chicken but the grilled chicken did not disappoint. Most recent visit got 5 slabs for a family gathering and a whole chicken. Ended up getting another slab later that evening. Folks was getting testy about others going back for 3rds! I highly recommend D & D Barbecue & Ribs.

Nice service wait ain't that long. So starting with the ribs they fire, they mac and cheese is good could be more cheesy but it's love. The wings though not hot wings but I give love too this place ribs are the banging in the hood!!!

I think D & D has some good food. The rib's are really tender and flavorful. They have some great desserts too.

Without question the best bbq on this side of town.I could go into a long spiel about D & D but really all you need to do is drive by and the smell is going to drag you in. The staff is friendly, the prices are right and the food is good. A rib tip dinner costs about $12 and trust me, you'll have more than enough. Meats are tender and juicy and I really love their sauce.This place is great, and you should support them. Really.

First time eating D and D BBQ. When I first glanced at the food. I thought great It's hot and fresh. By the time I got to the bottom of the meat, I had hard GREASY tips. What a waste, because I probably would eat there again, but now I won't. The sauce was good it's shelf sauce not homemade. Bait and Switch

Best RIBS ever. I only purchased a full slab and sauce on the side. So great!!! Support their business!!! Providing excellent food for Atlanta 20 plus years and going.

Soooo I decided to try D & D versus firing up my own grill. There are some pros and cons of this establishment. First it's take out only. If you want to sit and eat, you will have to do so in your car. Second parking is limited if it's busy. However the staff is friendly and patient. Being from STL, I was pleased to see they offered rib tips. They were grilled and then smoked. Wonderful flavor on these guys and someone knows how to season and keep them tender. The sauce was pretty good....no complaints there. My issue was with the sides. The potato salad was yuck! It tasted like someone tried to Doctor up some store bought and failed miserably. The macaroni and cheese was also lacking. That being said, I would come back for the meat and figure out my sides. The meat was good enough for a return trip.

I stumbled across this spot after my favorite rib spot (pit Boss in Hapeville GA) ran out of ribs. This place wasn't too far. I decided to give them a shot. The ribs were juicy but just tasted like seasoning salt. I also had the sausage sandwich, which was nothing more than a kielbasa. #Horrible. While waiting to pay, I noticed they had a picture of chitterlings (chittlins). I took a mental note. Fast forward 2 months later, I give them a try. I called in my order and still had to wait 30 min. My box felt light, so I checked it in the car. It had sandwich bread. Wtf!! I go back to the window and the lady says you have to specify cornbread. They gave me a piece. Fast forward I get home and i really see the plate. Small portion with stiff looking chittlins. I bit one, they were so chewy and undercooked with no seasoning. I'm pretty sure these were the pre cooked chittlins or they just can't do right. I call immediately as this plate cost me $19 and change. No answer. I called a total of 7 times. I'm pretty sure they know it was me and the BS they gave me. I've called my credit card company to dispute this charge as I got undercooked horrible tasting, no seasoning food. Avoid this establishment like the plague
