For us - 3.5 would be a better reflection if we are going off food, but beer alone 4-4.5.The pros: Parking is plentiful and easy, beautiful fun church building turned brewery/pub, fabulous service, energetic trivia nights (Wednesday), and while there aren't many beer options, they are decent quality. The cons:Overpriced for lack of quality. The wings didn't feel fresh or flavorful, we were kinda worried they were old and stopped eating them. Would be nice if they offered ranch v. blue cheese. The pizza was just okay, could have been better with more pizza sauce. Sadly, the food did not deliver for the price point. Final tip: eat before or after somewhere else and enjoy the beer!

Czanns has some great beers. This is definitely on the list of Nashville Breweries you must-see. The staff is friendly and it's a great place to meet up and chat with friends. The safe is friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. You may even get a chance to meet the founder/brewer and learn more.

Gorgeous new tap room!I am still not a fan of their beer, but I love the story and the passion of the brewer. If you haven't been and checked out the new spot they have lots of new things happening.

I flip back and forth on how to rate Czann's. It has an interesting taproom in an old church building in the Nations. This has some positives and negatives. On the positive side, it is a cool space. On the negative, the televisions are way up high and somewhat inconvenient. As you walk in you are face with a large U-Shaped bar. Usually one beertender and Ken, the owner and brewer is normally around. He is a great guy to have a chat with and certainly a shining moment for a drop in. There are only 6 staple beers and Ken occasionally runs a barrel aged beer or some one off. The general focus is more old world style so you will find German Pilsners, Belgian Blondes, and a Dunklewiezen in the list of staples. Overall, I am not as thrilled with Czann's as some other breweries around town, but the styles are not my normal go to brews either. He did do a barrel aged porter at one time, but he is not into boozy brews, so he washed most of the bourbon flavor out of the barrel (to each his own, but my reason for having a bourbon barrel aged is to taste how well the whiskey blended with the brew). One thing I do like here is the food. Ken is from upstate New York, so you see some favorites from that area, like Buffalo Wings and Beef on Weck. Weck buns are not available in the Nashville area, so the bun is not 100% true to form, but the sandwich is great. Also appreciate the wings. I am sure I will be back again, but it is not my go to. Again, the beers are not my style, so if you are more into the old world beers, it is definitely a place to pop a squat, have a brew and a Beef on Weck (or wings) and have a chat with Ken. Very convenient spot from I-40 as you can come in from either 46th or 51st and easily find the place. There are usually open parking spots in front, but the street in this area is not usually very crowded either.

This is a teeny tiny little brewery that only had 6 taps and unfortunately, nothing that I would want to drink. They did not have a flight option but were willing to give Ben half pours of his beer choices. We were 2 of the 4 people within the brewery so we did try to chat with the other two patrons, who were locals and see if they could point us in the right direction for some local BBQ.Ben tried the Blonde, Pecan Porter and the IPA.

Easy 5 star based on the beers, the brewery owner and brewer Ken, and the beautiful newly renovated tap room! This is the same Czann's as the old downtown location - but bigger and soon to be more food options to enjoy with Ken's great beers. There is an outdoor patio - dog friendly and a newly remodeled interior (which I am told was formally a church). Full line up of beer tbd - but you really can't go wrong with Czann's given Ken's long tenure in brewing in Nashville. See you there ... rumor is that the opening date of this new brewery location is Friday - March 12, 2021 ... which just so happens to be today!!!

Another 5 star review from me. This time it's for the food. Stopped in yesterday to grab their seasonal lent Friday Fish Fry and it was amazing. Cooked perfect, and fries and coleslaw were great too. Small portion for the price point but it was worth it.

We did some brewery hopping and stopped here. Fantastic beers! Spot on with how the style should be and we really enjoyed talking with the owner/brewer. Big fan of the stout and pale ale.
