CZ Smokez BBQ

This BBQ is TOP tier. I had such a great experience visiting here with my cousin. The food is fresh and made to order so don't come in a rush. Good things come to those who wait :). While I was there for the ribs and they were amazing, the smoked pork chop was a surprise hit for me. It was so good and flavorful. We tried everything without sauce first but the BBQ sauces were also really good. The baked beans are also a must have. They were amazing. The Mac and cheese we could've done without but all the other sides we had we enjoyed. We sat and ate in the outdoor seating area which was nice on a warm day. I will definitely be back when I'm in Atlanta again.

I really wanted to like this place. I got it through Grubhub delivery and I really had a taste for some good bbq. I got the rib tips w man n cheese and dressing. Man was I disappointed in all three items. But mac n cheese was almost inedible. It had a sour taste and a funny consistency. The dressing had a yellow gravy on it. WTH! And was bland. The rib tips were ok. I'm not a picky person. I will even retry a place if the quality or service wasn't what I expected the first go around. But not this place. I gave it too stars bc I didn't have the heart to only give it one.

I had ribs and a peach cobbler. The ribs had a nice flavor but they were a bit tough. The peach cobbler was "let's just say not to my liking". The service is slow and "let's just say, unprofessional" and it was overpriced. It was busy while I waited for my food and the parking is non-existent.I wish them the best but I won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

So first want to acknowledge that this place has great reviews for their ribs so I plan on trying the ribs next time. With that said, my husband and I had a wings craving and wanted to support other bbq joints nearby so we saw CZ Smokez and they had good enough reviews plus their wings were very reasonably priced. The wings are average sized and dark meat, which is what I prefer but my husband wasn't a fan. However, we agreed that they were tasty. The spicy lemon pepper definitely had some kick to it, so another plus in my book. However, everything else fell flat. The crinkle cut fries were dry and absolutely no flavor which is a shame. The banana pudding was simply below average and tasted very generic. Overall, not giving up on this place because the ribs look good and the reviews sound absolutely yummy. So I may change my review...to be continued!:)

Lamb chops with collards and rice gravy....lambs chops were small but delicious. Collards were good but spicy (I wasn't expecting spicy). Rice and gravy was good but the gravy was yellow and I was expecting brown gravy. I was suppose to get cornbread but it wasn't package in my meal.Wings with mac n cheese and baked beans. Wings were burnt and not edible. Mac n cheese lacked flavor. Baked beans were great. I would order from here again but I would stick with the lamb and baked beans.

2 rib plates with 2 sides each. Each plate had 3 ribs and 1 barely had any meat. The collards tasted like they were from the can and was smothered and covered with onions! Mac was decent. Two plates at the tune of $54.45! I understand the cost of EVERYTHING is on the rise but this was highway robbery at its finest! Would highly NOT RECOMMEND!

I'm from Memphis. Only barbecue I like in Atlanta. Cz's Smokerz is great every time, never bad

Had the pleasure of meet the owner Eva, who said she would bring the BBQ baked potatoes to the atl..I'm excited. The meat was so good, didn't need sauce and the potato salad was on point. I will be back. Highly recommend

This place is DISGUSTING.... JUST NASTY! I called my aunt and asked her where's good bbq in our area and she pointed me here. Disappointed in her as well! First of call. The food was COLD AS HELL as of they prepared it the day before and just dipped it in hot bbq. The potato salad was VERY water (I didn't understand that). The baked beans were mushy and salty. The meat was tough and took forever to digest. My grandma would be a HUGE help to this establishment..... tried supporting black business but this place would be a never again for me.
