Came for breakfast, had the friends with Benedict bowl. It was phenomenal. Daughter had Swedish pancakes, she loved them. $2.00 coffee, all you can drink. The service was exceptional. Small place, there may be a wait during peak times.

Today was their last day in business. It is now closed. Super amazing owner and we wish her the best in her retirement. Thanks for being outstanding until the very end.

It's so hard to find gluten free, let alone good gluten free. Get the pancakes for brunch, they won't disappoint.

Very charming and local feel to this vibrant bistro near the waterfront in Friday Harbor. Just 2 blocks from the Ferry terminal and across the street from the Farmers market.Cynthia was the first female chef at the infamous Ray's Boathouse in Ballard (Seattle). She is now the proprietor of Cynthia's Bistro in Friday Harbor. She, like me, is a All-Natural Chef Creating dishes from locally sourced ingredients and takes pride in everything she serves.

We were looking for a place for breakfast, and found this place. It's a cute place with great service. We found a place to sit at the back and then ordered. We were given a heads-up before ordering that the food would take about 40 mins. We got a classic breakfast with bacon, avocado & tomato, a Savory Dutch baby, Mocha and Hot cocoa. We got our drinks quickly and then enjoyed our drinks and the good weather while waiting for our food. I loved the Dutch Baby, the classic breakfast was good. Definitely a must try place while in Friday Harbor.

This is a go-to place for locals and out of towners alike. Off the main streets but still in Friday Harbor core the cozy atmosphere and really great menu require repeat visits - thx to the good staff and to Cynthia herself Extra credit for the amazing community services supported by this business

I really wanted to like this place and conflicted how to rate it.The avocado boat was surprisingly good - definitely recommend. The biscuits and gravy was awesome but apparently a Father's Day special, so don't anticipate it on the regular menu.The mocha my husband got was subpar - save your money and get espresso fix from somewhere else!The croissant and cream puff were not as fresh tasting as I would have liked.We also had a customer service issue. The cashier missed an item and then proceeded to lecture us, which was completely unnecessary considering we tipped and ordered two entree, two espresso drinks and two pastries.

We were seated outside and it was lovely. However, my sister ordered a cinnamon roll, the main reason we went here for brunch and while the rest of our meals came, the cinnamon roll never did. We asked where it was and we're told oh I don't think we have anymore... we didn't receive the one we paid for so how can that be. The gal at the register sighed and said she'll ask in the back. The manager came out and said "oh we're sorry, the cinnamon roll was sold to someone else."Outstanding. She asked if we wanted something else or our money back. We asked for our money back to which they got irritated and seemed to reluctantly give back our few dollars.

Great place for curb appeal. Unfortunately that all stops once you walk in. Zero greeting for a good five minutes after walking in. Once seated server didn't do basics such as water at the table. Ordered mimosas and server couldn't remember what we ordered and asked us what we wanted again. Mimosas were flat and not good. Food was delivered in reasonable time. And was basic nothing to cheer about.At the checkout, server felt it was more important to talk to other server about tables and made us wait to pay. Customer service needs work.
