So, I was running around town like a chicken without a head a few months ago, trying to track down the Negra Modela Especial, but somehow was told Negra Modela Black...I had been a bartender for 12years, so, I naively took this as a challenge. Several stores later, I'm confused and unsure what I'm now looking for. I suffer from Lupus, so add fatigue to my confusion and I want to hide in a corner. The employees at Kroger suggests the liquor store next door, and off I go, body--no head!! I walk in and am immediately greeted with a warm smile and an inquisition to what I'm looking for. I try to explain what was said to me, but, I'm not aware if I'm speaking in an intelligible language, but lucky for me, the owner is there, and some how translates my language in to some form of communication. He can see I'm flustered and confused, takes pity on me, and invites me to sit down at a chair while he searches the internet. He googles Negra Modela and informs me that he has the regular Negra Modela, but not the Negra Modela Especial I am in search of. I decided then & there, I'm throwing in the towel, and the gentleman (I'm so sorry his name escapes me) apologizes for not carrying what I'm requesting. Now, my luck gets better...in walks in a liquor rep for Desert Door Tequila. The beer is a gift for a friend who helped me prep one of my race bikes, at the last minute, for a race weekend. So, now that I have had a moment to gather myself and have had a chance to put my head on straight, we begin to discuss Tequila. After a few minutes, I'm convinced and now, both the owner and the rep, are going out of their way to assure my purchase is ready to be gifted to my friend. I purchase a gift box with 2 beautiful hand made glasses and some swag. Thank you so much for assisting me and helping me out of my mid day crisis!!

Once again, when I Googled "liquor store" in this area, this was one of the first to pop up and the closest to my friend's place. We stopped in and it's right next door to Kroger. Often when we've come in they've had tastings of new liquors. I always enjoy that...drink liquor while I shop for liquor. Vodkas are on the left wall. Specials are usually front and center. And, we found a chocolate flavored liquor whipped cream. Soooo delicious! Went great with the chocolate flavored Pinnacle vodka we had. Not much else to say about this place. It's a basic liquor store. Nothing fancy, but not in the dumps. Friendly staff, decent pricing and I definitely have more than one charge on my statement from here.

Small store, but they do have a good selection of liquor. There aren't any signs or guides so if you are looking for something specific you definitely want to ask for help.

They have a decent collection of bourbon. My only concern is that every bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel has had the plastic preferences too broken before it's even been sold. It concerns me because it's like buying a bottle of ibuprofen. If the seal is broken it says not to buy it. So why are all these bottles and only these bottles have the perforated plastic busted? Would you buy it? I would like to hear the owners explanation about this especially when I brought it up to one of their employees and he didn't even notice it or know.

Friendly and helpful people working here, prices are reasonable. Been shopping here for about 3 years now, would shop here again and recommend it.
