Slightly confused because I think this place used to be located closer to Cal Anderson but is now more east on Pine inside another restaurant. I was confused walking in because you are walking to Remedium. We got there around 9:30 pm so just shortly before they closed at 10 pm but the bartender was in great spirits and was eager to make our cocktails, dealers' choice based on what we liked to drink. We all liked ours! Mine was a spicy mezcal served up that I enjoyed. Not too sweet like I asked. There is a good amount of seating including both bar top and table top. Seems like a great place for a date night or to catch up with friends!

Cure is an artisan cocktail family owned bar with delicious cocktails and awesome draft beers. Joe can craft tons of cocktails to suit your palette, as well as charcuterie, tapas and sandwiches to munch on while enjoying the relaxing environment. Smooth tones groove during most nights. But sports games request asnd other popular views can be accommadated on their super thin flat screen. The service is super personable which comes in handy when you want to maybe try something you haven't tried before. They also have cocktail mixing classes during the month that are $35. For that you can score a monthly class plus $5 cocktails on you first cocktail whenever you drop by. Cocktail classes mean drinking your results... Sounds like a bargain to me. Definitely a great place to stop in and have a drink or two before or after a Mariners or Seahawks game.

I came here on a Friday night at 10pm and there weren't a lot of people. It's tucked away across the street from the skateboard park and tennis courts. It's a small space that has maybe 10 bar seats and a couple small tables. The ambiance is very chill and relaxing. When you check in you get a complimentary crostini/cheese plate. My first drink was the Blue Toronto which was just okay. They have daily specials and on Fridays they have the Classic Manhattan which I also thought was just okay. Both the drinks that I ordered were not very memorable and nothing stood out to me. A friend says that they have bartending classes and also if you buy a membership you get $5 drinks. However I think it is only on your first drink so it'd probably only be worth if you come often.

Love the charcuterie boards! We ordered a large board for three people, and paired it with a bottle of sangiovese. Favorites were the saucisson sec, lavendar goat cheese, and chorizo. The waiter's recommended pairings were spot on. Great date night or happy hour ambiance with romantic lighting. There was a cocktail making class happening while we were there, and it looked fun! They were pouring flaming drinks. Some staff members were more attentive than others, but everyone was really nice.

There were a lot of misses on my first visit and the whole experience left me sadly underwhelmed. The first oddity is that all the signage is for a place called "Remedium" and I was confused to the point that I thought I was in the wrong bar. I even asked the wait staff and they weren't sure if I was actually at cure as they kept calling it Remedium. We dropped in for a cocktail before having dinner elsewhere so we didn't try the food. On another visit I'd like to try the charcuterie and other menu items that looked pretty tasty so this is only based on the drinks. For a place with cocktail in the name there were very few signature drinks, nor did the ones they had seem to have any sort of cohesion. I ordered a black Manhattan and sadly it did not deliver. It had the extreme alcohol forwardness of a martini vs something a little more deep and robust as I would have expected. It may have just been the wrong drink for the establishment but given how things were I wasn't sure what that would even be.

This review is for the The Alice Cocktail Experience- an Alice in Wonderland immersive cocktail experience that was hosted here, produced by explorehidden.com. Perhaps Cure is a fine place, but the Alice event was dreadful. We paid $51pp for 3 mediocre drinks paced over 2 hours of cringeworthy community theatre and eye-roll inducing interactive "puzzles" that never quite came together. The performer-hosts struggled to engage the patrons, and clearly failed to to read the room, pushing forward with their scripted formula to the chagrin of the disengaged paid attendees who were dragged along in their doomed effort to execute the Ill-fated script. As the performance unraveled, the cast struggled to regain the spotlight they craved shifted to a low brow tactic throwing pithy barbs at a group of in-costume patrons who had lost interest in the play. It was not pretty. Even with low expectations coming in, I definitely would not consider another event from explorehidden.com for its lack of value and inability to deliver the goods.

TLDR: Amazing cocktails and charcuterie boards. Cozy romantic ambience. Horrible service.I'll start with the pros:- This hole-in-the-Wall bar in Capitol Hill is family owned and has a wonderful charm of its own.- With string lights across the bar and candles on every table, this makes for a perfect romantic date spot. - Cocktails here are impeccable. Don't go by the menu, the menu doesn't list a lot of drinks whose pictures I found on yelp or google. You can just tell the bartender what you feel like having and he will whip something up! I had the "what's up doc" (which is not listed on the current menu), this drink is inspired by Bugs bunny and has carrot juice among other ingredients! A very unique concoction.I also asked the bartender for a drink with chocolate and egg white, he whipped up a splendid drink that I thoroughly enjoyed.- With a yelp checkin you get a free cheese and crostini board which was amazing! Now for the biggest con:- Service is terrible. They just have 2 people working here who juggle between bartending, cooking and waiting on tables.- It took a while for them to take our order, even longer to bring us food and drinks and even longer to get the bill. This was extremely frustrating as a customer. they should really contemplate scaling up. If I wasn't so much in love with the cocktails, I would've given this place 3 stars.

Large Charcuterie $24 HH: 50% off charcuterie for happy hour is an awesome deal. For the large, you can mix and match 8 selections of meat and cheese. Warm Queso Plate $10.95: This was raclette and bleu cheese, but I couldn't really taste the bleu. New Orleans French 75 $8 HH: They have daily drink specials for $8, but you can get any day's special for $8 during HH. This was my fort French 75 so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was just OK. I tend to typically like fruitier drinks though. It looks like the drink specials change often based on the Yelp photos. Maybe next time I'll have something more to my preference. I enjoyed my visit, but nothing really stood out to me.

For anyone who is interested in knowing how to make a cocktail or simply wanting to experience a chillax wine bar, highly recommend hitting up Cure Cocktail!! :)I cannot express how much fun and enjoyment I get out from the kickass cocktail classes that are hosted here. The owners are super friendly and overall, the classes are kept fairly small and intimate for hands on learning experience. One cool thing to note is if you sign up to a monthly cocktail pass, this allows for free classes, tastings, and other random events that pop up. At a cost of $35/month, it's a pretty sweet deal.In terms of the place itself, interior is a pretty rustic and cute place. Love the twists on cocktails and the charcuterie board is on point. Had an opportunity to sample the cheese and meats (which does rotate from time to time) and it was delicious! Prices are reasonable and overall, service is nice and quick. Highly recommend coming here if you're looking for something different.

If I could give this place ZERO stars for the horrible cocktail class experience we had on 17th Dec 2021 I would. We booked our cocktail class (mixology) online 2 weeks ago and then called to schedule our time slot for Friday 5:30PM. We were a group of 4 friends. We got here at 5:30pm and were seated at the bar where the cocktail classes take place. Joe the famous Seattle bartender was there with another helper to help him through the class. This was a L shaped bar and there were a group of 4-5 girls seated on one side and the other side was occupied by my friends and I. Lets get started! We could barely hear Joe. He had a mask on (totally acceptable this is a pandemic) but the reason we could not hear Joe was because Cure Cocktail folks have shared the space with Alice in Wonderland cocktail experience event! The hosts for that event had microphones and were screaming shouting yelling while playing games in the same damn area we were seated for our cocktail class. We just gave up on hearing Joe (who did not have a microphone) instead asked him what was in our drink when he served it to us. Also Joe was constantly talking to folks seated on the other side of the L shaped bar completely ignoring us. What a waste of $50 per person and it also ruined an experience and an evening for our friends and us. The drinks were good but we might as well have been seated at another bar in peace than come for this class where we could hear absolutely nothing. Alice in wonderland cocktail experience was cheaper than pur cocktail class tickets and we really regretted not going there instead of sititng at this bar and wasting time and our peace of mind. They offered pineapple burger, chicken adobo tacos and pork tacos during this experience. The food was okay. The cocktails were good but i did not take back anything crom this so called cocktail making class. It is just not fair to have 2 events in parallel at the same venue to maximize profits! Even if you want to do so please do so at another slot so everyone has a good time. I will NOT recommend this cocktail experience to anyone ever! What a Waste of money!
