Another great morning with a great coffee. Walked down and got an iced coffee to enjoy in this beautiful weather. Iced dirty chia and a breakfast cookie is where it's at. The staff are amazing. Was busy when I got there, but they acknowledged both me and my pups the minute we walked in. Coffee is delicious and the cookie is addictive. The staff are all so personable. Not only to they remember names but ask about recent life events. It really is what you want from your local coffee shop. They roast their own coffee and have it for purchase as well. Plus if you're in a hurry the drive thru is less than a mile away with the same great coffee and service. Owners are local OGs and are fantastic (LGBTQ+ & Dog people). What can I say, but in a sea of hipster coffee shops in SD they make you feel like you are home.

Cuppa Cuppa Coffee Lab offers good coffee & quick service. Pastries/food items are also available. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The only issue customers may have is finding parking. If it is an issue, there is another location down the street with a drive through! My go to order is a medium 'Iced Barcelona latte' with an extra shot ($6.25). It contains Crème Brûlée + Madagascar Cinnamon. The drink is on the sweeter side. I recommend adding a shot or two or have it 1/2 sweetened to find the right balance!Another combination I enjoy ordering is half Smokey Joe/Barcelona latte! It's sweet, yet offers a smokey taste in you mouth!

This spot is at the corner of a luxury apartment building, and fair warning, you probably will not find any "legal" parking around this area unless you park at the bank next door lol If you live at the apartment building it is attached to, then you are in luck! Just walk down and grab a cup of coffee! They roast their own beans, which you can visibly see behind the counter. The shop is not that big, so it might get cramped in there. It's not really a place where you can stay and work. More of a grab-and-go type of place.Regardless, their coffee is good and smooth, however, it can be a bit too robust for some.

I have long been a fan of the Cuppa Cuppa drive thru outlet on Mission Gorge Road. In fact, I have always wished this outstanding outlet had a place like this but it came after I left San Diego a few years ago. Well, now I must thank Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for taking White and Dark chocolate latte offerings off their menu - my two absolute favorite latte beverages. It left me with nothing I wanted to buy there anymore, so one day when I told the baristas at the Cuppa drive thru about it, they informed me about the Cuppa Lab - and now the rest is history! I will say that I have only received outstanding service and coffee/latte offerings from Cuppa Cuppa. I have written two other reviews on the drive thru- both five stars and this one is no different! I met the terrific owner, Cynthia, here on my visit and we had some great conversation about these sites and the different things this outlet has to make it more attractive than the drive thru. I am especially happy to hear that this shop doesn't hold back on creativity! And I can't wait to pick up that "not-on-the-menu" Mexican mocha soon! On this visit, I had spring the season offering, white macadamia nut latte - awesome! What is special in the white chocolate lattes at Cuppa is that they use Ghirardelli white chocolate powder - it's got it's own unique flavor and it's FAR better than syrups! I have full confidence that anyone who visits either Cuppa Cuppa location will be 100 percent satisfied with their beverage and most likely return as well. I actually stayed here on my visit for about two hours - chatting, journaling, texting, etc. The shop appears not overly decorated or fancy in decor - that's ok! Because the magic here lies in the beverages they serve! Baristas (and the owner) are outstanding in service, courtesy, and getting the orders right. It was so excellent here as far as the details go that even the restroom was one of the cleanest and presentable ones I've ever seen in a business in all my Yelping days! OK! I've said enough! Now it's your turn to visit Cuppa Cuppa and let us know what you think! I have a feeling I know what that will be! Recommend: HIGHEST

Finally stopped by the other morning to try their coffee. I didn't feel like anything too sweet so I had the iced latte and it was perfect. They have a pretty simple menu which I appreciated. The music playlist was definitely my kind of vibe so that alone would make me return.

As soon as you walk-in you get a great feel (ambiance), with great service, and great pastries! Their pastries are from Splitz bakery. They roast their own beans and make 2 of own their syrups, "Cream Brûlée and smoky joe. They are connected to Cuppa Cuppa drive thru. Also, they use filtered water which makes a difference in the coffee they serve! I will definitely be back to try it out again! Thanks Gaby for your great customer service! Too bad it's Gaby's last day ! Hopefully they find a great person to serve their coffee!

Loved this place. Got the Cubano and it didn't disappoint. Strong and delicious and not very sweet. Just the way I like it. The Vienna was just as good. Loved the cinnamon in it. And again not overly sweet. The jalapeno cheese bagel was toasted perfectly and just the right amount of cream cheese. Will I be back? Of course!!!

First time trying this place. Wanted to do the whole Support local thing. Walked in, no one came out to greet me for about a minute or so. Not a big deal until what happened next. Ordered my drinks started to get made and then another customer walks in with a disgusting reusable cup. The barista stops making my drinks go to take that person's order and touches pretty much every part except the inside of that disgusting cup. The guy goes "just give it a little rinse for me, I just poured out some old coffee" Then of course the barista says yes and goes back to making my drinks without washing their hands. ON TOP OF THAT they used the same rinser that they use to rinse the milk pitchers to rinse his cup. I don't even want to drink the coffee I ordered I'm so grossed out but I did the drinks were not even good. :( It was brutal

Great place to study at near SDSU!!!I'm always on the lookout for a new cafe to study at that is fairly close and I randomly clicked on this place on Google Maps. The inside looked really cute so I thought I would give this place a shot!Parking is kind of hard because it's all street parking but the area doesn't look like it would usually be that busy.I got the slowchata. When I got it, it looked water-y and unmixed, but the drink itself is actually pretty good. The coffee flavor had a good strength and I could taste the cinnamon. I just wish there wasn't so much ice in it :(. That would probably be my only critique of this place.Like I mentioned earlier, this is the perfect place to study if you're by yourself or are with one other person. Some outlets, a bathroom, and really fast wifi. Overall, I am definitely going to come back here to study. The drinks are good besides the excess ice. They need to be more generous about that!!!
