This is a small family owned business. That's a positive thing especially since they make some of the best cupcakes and desserts in town. Trust me, I have gone far and wide seeking the best for the money desserts in the area. Why best for the money? Because I usually take items to work for sharing. That can be pricey at $5-7 bucks per item. Often the expensive desserts aren't really much better than the Safeway Bakery. Cupcakesters are reasonably priced and also do custom orders. I love the selection of items and would recommend a trip to this place. I did get one of everything for the office. Super good. They also have vegan and gluten free.The current location as of 7/20/2022 is in Mesa on the corner of Main and Lindsay west of the KFC.

I had seen this cupcake spot for sometime and today I finally had the time to stop by. I took my mom and daughter. I do have to start with its a small bakery, but the flavors are BIG. I was so eager to taste them that I forgot to take a picture. I had a s'mores (the BEST cupcake I've ever had. It had a graham cracker bottom, vanilla cake and marshmallow frosting. But the combo together felt like I was eating a cheesecake. It melted in my mouth along with the textures and flavors. Can't say enough of this cupcake). I now know where to order a cake or cupcakes by the dozen!

Wow! First time, definitely not the last. The cupcakes are the best kind of unusual. So light and fluffy, we've never had anything like it. Both my husband and I were so impressed with the texture. They literally melt in your mouth. The turtle cupcake was ooey gooey on top with yummy caramel and tons of pecans but it wasn't too sweet and the cake was so light that it made the perfectly balanced treat. The peanut butter bomb had whipped frosting.. again, not too sweet but extra flavorful with that same melty cake. All the flavors are rich with quality ingredients. We got cookies too and the peanut butter takes me back to the kind only my mom made, super peanutty flavor and the soft crumbly texture. Super friendly owner took time to chat and tell us all about her shop and offerings. I love supporting local business with wonderful people. Can't wait to come back. I owe the tech guys at work a treat... they are going to love me!

I haven't even tried their cupcakes yet, but I completely forgot to pick up my order before they closed and they drove back and reopened the shop for me! Excellent customer service and the cupcakes look incredible.

Cupcakes are great...if you're lucky enough to catch them open! Had a bad Monday and want a cupcake? Nope, they're closed. Need an end of the week treat? Nope, they're closed. Even checked the website for the Mesa store and it said they were open and I get there, NOPE! They're closed even though it says they're open. I won't be going back.

I love the cupcakes,,, Bar none,,, BUt I am not so sure if I want to go back after I came in today and the gentleman-- right after he was talking on his cell phone came and helped me out.... First off, I wish he had washed his hands before touching the cupcakes he boxed up for me since he did not even use gloves.. Cell phone use-- straight to touching the cupcakes with his bare hands...& his finders even touched one of the frosting-- Thank God, he did not include that cupcake,,, but still.... Very unsanitary for the food industry--- I run restaurants & I am very particular about this issue.. cell phones are one of the most bacteria infested thing ... I wish they at least take this seriously....

I contacted Cupcakesters to see if they could make a small wedding cake with just over a week to the big day. In addition, the cake needed to be partially gluten- and egg white-free. I reached out on a Friday afternoon via their online contact form and Julie responded to my request within a very short amount of time. We discussed the cake and she told me "no problem". I arrived the next Saturday morning to a BEAUTIFULLY done cake. Not only was it simple and elegant (as requested), but it tasted fantastic. The top layer was both gluten and egg white free while the bottom layer was a regular marble cake, as requested by the bride. Thank you Cupcakesters!

Stopped in for a treat...or two or three. The peanut butter bomb cupcake was excellent!! The buttercream was amazingly thick, smooth and creamy while the cake was incredibly moist. The husband and wife were both in the shop, as well as a decorator. Maybe she was having an "off" day but she didnt smile when introduced or at any point during my visit. Bad day, tired or just focused? Not sure, but the owners were very polite and explained their products to me. They offer gluten free and keto options, too. You can build yoir own custom cupcake onsite (you pick cake, frosting and toppings). This is a small bakery that doesn't have an expansive list of offerings, which is just fine, as they obviously know what they're doing and do it well. You'll findcookies, brownies, etc as well. I bet they do a ton of custom cakes. I'll be back!!

One of the best gluten free cupcakes I've ever had. It was moist, and delicious! I had the carrot cake, and it beyond satisfied my sweet tooth. I will be back!
