Culichi Sushi

Personally, for the price of the type of food they offer it's not worth it. I would rather go to taco boys then go to Culichi

Wasn't a fan of this place. Service was rough. The waitress took our order and she never came by again. She seemed to be busy at the front with what sounded like a pretty good conversation with friends. Never got drinks either...When the food did come out, it just wasn't very good. Mexican sushi sounds weird, but it is stupid good. You'd think carne asada and sushi don't mix, and you'd be dead wrong. I've been to other places that do it well and had my hopes up for this place. It was a swing and a hard miss here. Pretty sure they the umpire actually. The kicker was at the end when we asked another waitress for the check and a to go box. She didn't get us the to go box, I had to ask the lady at the front who looked like I was annoying her.Generally, I don't like to give restaurants bad reviews (usually 3 stars is the lowest), but the service here was offensively bad. If you want a place to go to feel like you don't belong, this is the place to be.

I was working at a temporary building in the area and was craving sushi. I looked up on Google and Yelp and found Culichi Sushi. I instantly fell in love with their sushi and fried rice. I always get the Racha Naturale roll and the Yakimishi. Very good portion sizes and the taste is great. I wish I lived closer to enjoy the food more often. The only down fall, is sometimes they do not have someone who speaks fluent English so ordering can be a struggle but I have not had any issues so far. Not sure about the customer service as I have always did take out service and not dine in. Overall love this place!

My hubby knows I love me some Mexican sushi. It's not healthy but boy is it scrumptious. I was a little disappointed on the service. Our food came out one plate at a time and their were five of us. Then when I asked the waitress for a mango margarita she told me they had no ice. I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt and ordered a sangria incase she didn't have ice. But my hubby did put her on the spot when she brought his michelada with ice in it. Then she scurried back and made my margarita. I was dumb founded and didn't apologized then handed me the margarita. We ordered a chowmein mixed with shrimp and chicken, buffalo chicken wings with fries, two ceviche tostada's and I ordered my favorite guamuchilito sushi. Along with jarritos and sprite. I give it four stars because the food was delicious and I hope to return on another visit to phoenix.

This place definitely gave me hole in the wall vibes. My husband and I were craving some sushi but didn't want to wait forever to be seated at other restaurants. We came across culichi sushi expecting to walk right back out because the outside looked sketchy, especially at night. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. The place is well kept, service was fast, and the food was great. We shared a Cordon Bleu roll, Carne Asada roll, a plate of yakisoba, as well as a couple of micheladas. Definitely plan on coming back!

AMAZING SUSHI La dueña Roll and Guamuchilito empanizado are my favorite! Carne asada burger is also amazing!

Their food is very delicious, and they have a buy 2 get 1 free special on Wednesday's! Very clean, friendly, wait time on food wasn't super long either like other places. Only con is, the location in where it is at, there are a lot of homeless people and it can get really sketch sometimes. On our very first visit here, a homeless guy walked in and started asking us for money as we were eating. But that one time problem didn't stop us from coming again, haven't had that problem since!

Wonderful service very kind and helpful. :) We told our server it was our first time there and she took time to help us make a selection that we would enjoy. We also received a complimentary dish since it was our first time there. Will be back.
