I love it here!!!The space is super cute and light filled with fun wooden chairs. The menu is big and everything looks amazing and authentic! You order on your phone at the table and food is brought out to you, it's the perfect casual atmosphere. The tostones were incredible with flaky sea salt and a wonderful sauce. The Cuban sandwich was delicious and massive! I literally want to try everything on the menu. They have a great happy hour that I'll definitely be back for next time!

5 stars because this place had delicious food combined with some of the best prices I've seen in Chicago. Their sandwiches are delicious and only cost $13 which is rare for this quality of food in the city (easily filling enough for dinner). The strawberry mojito was delicious and made better by the fact that it was jam packet with mint while still being a decent sized drink.For service, you order on your phone and the food is brought out to you. My food and my fiancé's were brought out at different times (about 10 min apart) which was maybe the only downside of the restaurant because it would've been nice to get at the same time. The other factors make up for it though so I will definitely be returning.

On a chilly late winter night, I was ready for a date night that could help me escape the chill of Chicago winter. Cubaneo has been on my list for a while and that night was the perfect night to try it out.On a Friday night, the place was about half full (probably due to weather) and we were able to pick a nice table. The place is full of vibrant decor, plants and different colorful chairs (but they are a bit narrow, so keep in mind if you are wider in the lower half of your body). We were able to order on our phone and opted to each order a drink, split two appetizers and two sandwiches, which was definitely enough food for the both of us. He ordered the Spicy Mango Mojito which was a 10/10. I went with the lavender margarita, which was a little too heavy on the tequila for my mood that night but still tasty. I definitely wished I had ordered the Mojito!The patatas braves were pretty simple. I wish there had been more brava sauce or seasoning on the potatoes but the aolio and manchago cheese made up for it. The croquettes were the star of the show though, wit the chorizo really coming through without being oily. The pan con busted and cubano were both toasted to perfection and full of flavor.Because the drinks were a bit slow to come out and the patatas bravas were a bit bland, I dropped the review to a 4, but I wish I could have given it a 4.5!If you are in the area, it's definitely worth stopping in!

Best Cuban food in the city, one of my favorite restaurants. Have tried almost everything on the menu and nothing disappoints.

Cubaneo you won mi corazon. Cuban taste with a hint of tapas. The salad was fresh and plentiful. We ordered it with Croquettas, Patatas Bravas, and side of Maduros and it was filing enough for dinner! We had two drinks each but my Strawberry Mojito was the best! So good I had to copy it and make it at home! The place is casual for friends meet and date. Ordering dining in is through Toastab which was relatively easy. Place is spacious with charming decor that will take you away to Cuba. Servers are very helpful!

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while and finally got there for lunch. Food was great - would totally go back!

Loved my lunch here!! My favorite was the yucca fries, they were soooo crispy and cooked perfectly! And the vibes... outstanding, I felt so happy eating there. Can't wait to come back soon

Churros in melted thick rich hot chocolate with a hint of Nutella. Are you kidding me? $9 for a single order pricy? Yes. It is however cheaper compared to a plane fare to Madrid, Australia's Gold Coast or Manila. The 3 places I've had Churros with melted chocolate. Madrid being the first and the best. Cubaneos version however comes in a really close second. So yes it's worth it!

Hands down some of the best Cuban food I've had. It's definitely comparable to my experience in Miami's Little Havana. My friend and I came yesterday around 3pm, just in time for their happy hour. They have happy hour every day between 3-5pm. You come in and seat yourself, and there's a QR code at every table that's specifically assigned to your table. You can choose to order for the group or individually, you'll have to put a card on file to either keep your tab open or to check out. The service was friendly, and our orders were accurate. There is a bit of a wait between the time you order to when the food comes out as they make everything fresh. My friend ordered the croquetas, an avocado toast, and two mango mojitos (one spicy and one regular). I had two glasses of mimosas, an order of patatas bravas, and garlic fries with aioli sauce. We both wanted to try their Cubano sandwich, and with us both filling up, we ordered it to go. It came out piping hot, so you know I had to take a bite. The bread was crispy, buttery, and melts in your mouth, evenly coated with your typical Cuban sandwich meats and sauces. You'll have to try it yourself. I also love that they have a machine where they feed in a whole orange, and it not only peels but also juices, so your juice is 100% fruit juice. I'd totally come back when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area looking for authentic Cuban cuisine.

Wish I found this little gem years ago! Andrea was an awesome server and the place has such charm! We had the Cubano sandwich and I had the wrap with avocado and we ordered the croquettes. Food was sensational!I'll be back!
