I tagged along with my husband to pick up a couch, and we wanted to find a place to eat. Cuba 312 was about 3 minutes away and I'm a suckered for island food, so here we are. There weren't a ton of people inside, so we initially just set the parking for 45 minutes. It's brightly lit, raggaeton playing, and Cuban themed art on all the wall. It smelled great, so I was excited. My husband ordered trifongo and empanadas, and I ordered a jibarito classico with steak. I loved the chicken empanada. It was slightly sweet, salty, cripy, just absolutely delicious. My husband loved the chorizo. I didn't try the beef one, but he said that one was really good too.I will most definitely be creating jibarito at home, now that it has graced its presence in my life. The plantain was crispy, garlicky, and buttery. The steak was tender. All around favie for life. We ended up adding extra time on parking because, for whatever reason, the trifongo was taking forever. I didn't dock anything because they remedied the issue. Despite the long wait on the one item, we would go back.

Soooo good! I didn't know Cuban food could be so delicious! I visited during lunch on the weekend - fortunately for me, they serve Jibarito sandwiches only during this time, which I promptly ordered. I the plantain serving as the bread was perfectly crisp, complemented the sandwich well, and not so thick to where it took away from the other ingredients. The steak was tender, and the garlic atop the sandwich and light mayo inside added to the great flavors of the overall sandwich. I honestly didn't need the rice and beans as a side - the sandwich is filling enough - but they rounded out the entree very well. I also ordered vegetarian and beef empanadas, and they tasted delicious while having their own distinct flavors (and not being heavily breaded). If you have the option, I'd recommend sitting outdoors in their covered area, as it adds to the overall relaxed ambiance.

Muy bueno! We walked in on a recent Friday night without a reservation, received a friendly welcome and were seated promptly. The camarones al ajillo and nachos Cuba Libre got us started; the latter featured delicious fried yuca. We loved our more-than-we-could-finish platos fuertes: the towering mar y tierra for my wife and noche buena for me--oh, that pork! Our server was attentive and owner Marco stopped by at the end of our meal to say hello and get our impressions. I'll repeat myself, "Muy bueno!"

We ordered delivery here. Food tastes great. The portions were pretty small and pretty over priced for how much they gave you. The side of beans was basically a tablespoon. We got a $30 soup that was a 1 cup serving. It was pretty disappointing. Might try again in the restaurant to see if it's any better.

What a cute little restaurant! Had a friend from out of town come in and we wanted to have dinner and drinks at a nice low key restaurant. Perfect place to go. It was intimate and had a great selection of Cuban food and drinks.I ordered the Churasco steak and was taken aback by how delicious it was! Hands down one of the best steaks I have had in a minute! It was seasoned to perfection and just writing this review is making my mouth water as I reminisce on the taste. Mmmmmm good! Great portion too for the price. I got tostones on the side - who doesn't love fried plantains seasoned with some garlic and salt? To be honest, my friend chose this place because she thought it was BYOB. I guess they were years ago but not anymore. But thats ok because they have sangria and other cocktails on their menu. One complaint though is the service was pretty slow. We had a party of 3 and it took almost an hour for us to get our food. We didn't notice of course, cuz all 3 of us were too busy chatting up a storm to notice. But to be fair, I think there was only 1 server working at the time. So be nice to your local business especially during this pandemic!Overall, don't sleep on this nice little neighborhood restaurant. It packs a great punch in its food!

Stopped in for dinner since I was craving Cuban food. I ordered the surf and turf, which came with churrasco, mojo shrimp, mofongo, grilled veggies, and chimichurri. This plate was loaded with full flavor food. My favorite was the steak and mofongo. Overall, it's a great spot with friendly service and great food!

I have been wanting to try Cuba 312 for a few years. Last month my love and I were wandering around Roscoe Village and decided to have an early Saturday dinner at Cuba 312, which is located on Roscoe. The restaurant has a compact interior with very colorful art and murals on the walls, and there is an outdoor patio that is probably pleasant to sit in during nice weather (the day of our visit was a bit drizzly). The menu seemed about as compact as the interior. It looked like they offer jibaritos for lunch, but not for dinner. I wound up ordering ropa vieja as my entree. The little pot of shredded beef was accompanied by white rice, black beans, plantains (quite yummy), and garlic sauce. My love decided to go appetizers only and chose two beef empanadas and ham croquetas (four to an order). The bite of beef empanada was pretty good. My love was a bit troubled by her tropical sangria, which was $9 and not a particularly large serving for that price. I'd say overall our visit to Cuba 312 was good, but not great.

The food was overcooked and dry. I couldn't even get through the steak, and when they brought out the chicken as a replacement it was totally dry. The service was extremely slow and our waitress was impersonal and short. I do not recommend this business.

Great place in the city if looking for some great Cuban food, music and staff. My favorite thing to order when I go there is their noche buena, Tender pork with sweet plantains and black beans and rice.
