Food was delicious, service was chill, ambience was chill, sitting outside during summer is dope, lots of doggos walking. Chicken chilaquiles was pretty good but if you do go for a brunch vibe get yourself a drink and definitely cop the deviled eggs, they have a very interesting take on a classic app.

Good was phenomenal as always! This was my second time coming to crushed! I came earlier this year for brunch after a wedding. They accommodated a large party last minute and were so understanding (party of 23). Food....amazing!!! And have gluten free options! It's a little noisy inside, but outside is amazing!

The food here crushed; service on the other hand was less than stellar. Made brunch reservations for 2 on a Saturday at 1015am. They were already slammed when we arrived, even though the restaurant opens at 10am. The hostess was friendly and seated us immediately at a 2-top in the middle of the dining room. From there we waited 10-15 mins for anyone to acknowledge us / make eye contact. A server who was working the bar as well came and took drinks / food order. A different server brought out our food, and that was the last time we saw anyone except when I was able to flag down the hostess as she was walking by to ask if we could get refills on our water. Appetizer: Banana/nutella pancakes...outstanding. Pancakes were fluffy and the nutella spread was just enough that it didn't overwhelm. Entrees: My wife had the asada breakfast burrito (enormous) and I had the mahi tacos. Both were delicious, although the tacos were more snack size vs entree. After we finished eating I waited another 15-20 mins for someone to come by and clear our plates and ask if we were ready to pay the bill. All told we were there at least 1.5hrs, which I guess is fine if you're looking to hang out, but not if you're expecting any kind of prompt service. We could have walked out and gone to the beach and back and still been waiting.IMO, I think they were understaffed. I only saw 4 servers total, and inside they had a private party of maybe 20 people and another with at least 12 people. They simply can't accomodoate this many people without additional staff. From what I saw everyone was hustling so I don't blame the staff. I wouldn't go back unless I had nothing but time and didn't care about seeing my server.

Came here on July 4th for a quick bite and were lucky to find some open seats at the bar. We were addressed by the bartender after only being seated for a few minutes. We ordered two drinks and the mahi mahi tacos. The service was slower than we would liked. It took about 20 minutes for our drinks and closer to 30 for our food. I ordered a soda so I was disappointed when it took so long to get, and when I did the drink was flat. The bar was incredibly hectic and there were so many people going in and out which probably did not help with efficiency and contributed to any it took so long. We were super hungry by the time the tacos arrived. The sauce on top was great, but the mahi mahi fell flat in flavor. Also for $16 the tacos were tiny and you'd expect some rice and beans or something on the side with a meal. The tacos also were inconsistent in their spice level, with one taco being much spicier than the other two. Note that the bar is super tiny and you are very close to the working bar tenders. A few times ice was thrown our direction from the bartenders quickly making drinks. I wouldn't recommend coming at a very busy time when the bar is extremely hectic.

Food Excellent! Service cool, Ambiance cool. Had a girls brunch day, we arrived right on time like 2ish , it was not packed , which I was thankful for! Our waiter was nice but not attentive blonde hair guy, again very nice but was not checking for me & my girl!!! There was a nice lady preparing silver wear who was so nice and helped us more than our actual waiter! Suggestion I'd make is take care of the flies! Definitely need those little fan things on the table to keep flies away! We had to switch tables and cover our food with napkins while eating & trying different dishes! Other than that I really like crushed!! Good food & Good mimosas! Reasonable prices and the crab cake sliders are everything!! Love it!

My family made a reservation for 12pm on a Sunday and weren't seated until about 12:30. Our server took forever to take our order. We asked for special requests like extra sauce and syrup when ordering but never received the items even after we asked again. The service was very slow. The food all came out at different times and my french toast was forgotten. I want to come back when it's less busy during the weekday to give Crushed a second chance. Hopefully the service is better next time.

So I've eaten here several times over the years, and I've been happy with my meals. It is a little pricey, but that goes along with its vibe I would say. Mostly popular for brunch, but I'm usually having lunch with a friend or coworker because it's not far from one of my work locations. This recent trip my friend and I met for lunch. I hadn't really had much for breakfast, so I went for breakfast and he did as well. My breakfast tacos were literally that: breakfast served like a taco. Not the Texas version, it was scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage served as a taco in a small pancake shell. It was delicious, with syrup to pour on it as you ate it. My friend seemed to like his omelet and fries. We ate inside, and the drawback was that the music was so loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation! I don't remember it being an issue before, so maybe it depends on who's working. Another time we sat outside in the added-on seating near the road that I'm not a fan of. So if you're looking for brunch or lunch in PB with some unusual menu choices, and mimosas, this is probably for you. Just be ready to maybe pretend to be in the club, lol.

If you live in the Pb area chances are you've been here, but if not it comes highly recommended. Whether stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner the menu does not disappoint. I've tasted a handful of items, but two of my go tos are the Chilaquiles, Daddy Cakes, Parmesan Truffle fries, and the Spicy Ceasar salad. The flatbreads are also worth grabbing as an appetizer for the table. bring an atmosphere that's perfect for group outings or a date night. I've been coming to this place for years, why I never reviewed it not sure, but can say the staff has remained just as amazing - always accommodating, bringing good recommendations, and highly attentive and fun/easy to talk to!
