Wow definitely will go back! Was super impressed by the quality and freshness of the seafood. We ordered at happy hour it's a smaller place so I would recommend a reservation. We each got a glass of wine on the happy hour special. I had rose and my friends had Pinot Grigio both were delicious but I preferred the Pinot Grigio for sure. The torched scallops were out of this world. The presentation for starters was so cute but the taste of these scallops was insane. We finished those and immediately wished we had gotten 3 orders of the scallops they were that good. The oysters were so good also probably the best I've had in San Diego for awhile. We also got the tuna bites probably wouldn't get that again but there are other items on the menu that I would go back for! Really enjoyed our experience the music was fun and the decor was very cute on the inside. We plan to be back soon.

Went here with a group for my cousins birthday! Made reservations day of for Sunday evening through open table. I did ask for inside but unfortunately there were no big tables for us when we got there & had to eat outside. Food: I got the black mamba and the scallops. The scallops were delicious, I highly recommend. The black mamba had so many favors & very unique, another one I would highly recommend! The seafood was so so fresh!! Service: It was fantastic! The food came out quick! The server was very attentive! Ambiance: Since we ate outside, I feel like we missed out on the ambiance & decor of the place. Definitely plan on coming again to try out the other dishes! It was pretty pricey for the small portion size, I would recommend ordering at least 2 dishes per person and then doing family style.

I am SO happy I decided to give this place a try. I swung by Tuesday evening and the place was empty at about 7:30pm while every other restaurant was packed, so I was a bit concerned but the ambiance and design were beautiful and the food sounded good so I figured why not!Once I started eating, more people did stop in as well so that was a good sign!I was helped by a few different waiters and hostesses, all of which were so friendly and hospitable, I couldn't have asked for better service.I started off with the Sake Martini which honestly wasn't that good. I should've mentioned it and asked for another drink but I don't know why I didn't. The olives also weren't pitted which I've never had a martini with the olives still containing the pits. I almost bit into it but luckily I didn't take a hard bite. The food was a much better experience!Pulpo carpaccio - hot damn this was one of the biggest surprises of the night because it was so good. Thick sliced octopus that was so soft and tender, soaked in an amazingly rich red wine vinaigrette, and tons of shaved parmesan. The octopus with parmesan was such an unexpected pairing and it tasted amazing together. They also serve crispy tostadas on the side for the perfect bite of texture and flavors. The parmesan is thick sliced but still buttery soft. The pulpo comes with a side of pistachio chili oil that completely rocked my world. I was putting that on EVERYTHING, even eating it on its own with the tostada crisps. I would buy this by the bottle, they seriously need to consider selling it.Snapper chicharron taco - This was so unique and delicious. Super crispy snapper skin turned into a chicharron taco, with fresh guacamole, tangy tomatillo, and crunchy pickled onions. This is a must.Scallops au gratin - Holy shit this was outstanding. Buttery soft scallops coated in a rich thick layer of gruyere and parmesan. I could eat a bucket of this.Snapper ceviche - I will say this was the only step-down for the night, the snapper itself was soft and soaked up the leche de tigre well, but I think there were just too many "other" components like the onions and tomatoes . . . and it also came with the snapper skin chicharron but it had been sitting in the sauce too long and became soggy and soft, more difficult to chew and eat.Salmon otoro tostada - THIS was my favorite of the night and another amazingly good surprise. A tostada topped with labneh, chimichurri, caviar, and half with cured salmon and the other half with otoro tuna. WOW. That salmon was insane. Like psych ward insane. It's cured so well to become gummy like candy while holding so much strong flavor as if it had been smoked. The tuna was rich and soft while maintaining the firmness of fresh tuna. This was the best way to end the night.I will absolutely be back!

There's open seating outside and inside. The photos I saw online made it looked a lot bigger than it is so it's a good thing we made a reservation. Food was amazing, we got 5 different dishes and shared and were still able to eat more so ended up ordering another order which was the Salmon skin Taco, 6 oysters, and a guava cheesecake for the 2 of us. The oysters were so refreshing, but my favorite dish was the uni Toast that comes with this chili oil sauce that compliments it really well. Our waitress was great and very attentive. Overall great experience and reasonable pricing.

Who can complain about fresh fish, great location, knowledgable staff, and perfect wine pairings for their dishes? As a prior resident of downtown San Diego, I will state that seafood spots are popular and very seldom disappoint-- Crudo Cevicheria is one of those that doesn't disappoint. When visiting the area I previously called home, I am sure to drop in here for happy hour or pre-dinner appetizers. The only reason I docked it one star was for two hiccups I forget about each visit:* When sitting outside, there is no built out patio area in the street dining area like other restaurants. So unfortunately your dining experience tends to be at a slant and/or your table and chairs are wobbly.* The tostadas/chips are a bit disappointing. I wish they would up their game on that front as the ones they serve are very store-bought and they somewhat take away from the wonderful dishes.

While walking through Little Italy, we saw that Crudo had a fantastic happy hour so we sat down on Thursday afternoon.I started with their Paloma which was tangy and refreshing. My husband had the Saktini Lychee and it was deliciously sweet, however we didn't taste much alcohol. We decided to order a few appetizers to snack on. We had their Tuna bites, Shrimp ceviche and a dozen oysters. The tuna bites were yummy but we wished the bread was a little crispier. I wanted more texture. I really enjoyed the shrimp ceviche and the portion is generous for a happy hour appetizer. We really enjoyed the oysters - they were fairly big and tasted very fresh. I do wish they gave us some background on where the oysters came from though. While dining in, I felt like I was on the coast of Greece or some where in the Mediterranean, just enjoying fresh seafood. It was a very relaxing experience.Their happy hour is everyday and their oysters are $1 during happy hour! Considering the location, size and quality of the oysters...you really cannot beat that!

Food was wonderful, I ordered 3 items, and I inhaled it! My friend and I both agreed that the best surprise to this meal is the house chili sauce. I know it sounds weird, but a few drops of the chili sauce really helped the flavors of EVERYTHING we put it on. Just a few drops or even a light drizzle and even the crackers were ahhmazing. The seafood is obviously good, but WITH the chili sauce it truly completed every bite. Service was good, they checked in several times throughout our meal, and the interior decorations and wallpaper were really inviting. I would absolutely come here again, but next time, I'll ask if they sell that chili oil.

Food here is exceptional! This place is tapas-style and portions are smaller but shareable. You must come during happy hour! My favorites were the tuna bites and the aguachiles verdes. Service was great! The open-air space is small and cozy and the perfect place to enjoy some oysters!

Came here for dinner around 5:30pm on a sunday. The four of us were seated right away. Perfect spot to people watch and had indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. Decor was so cute inside! We ordered a variety of things, all the fish was fresh and were perfect for sharing! One stand out was the black mamba tostada- it is a little spicy, but so good! The guac was also very good. Oysters were good- had a choice between east coast and west coast and we got a mix of both. Overall, definitely a bit of a splurge but everything was so beautifully plated and fresh!

Happy Hour! Monday-Friday, 3-5pm. $1 oysters and a nice selection of food and drinks. Dog friendly outdoor patio.Wish I could remember what the oysters of the day were but they were delicious! Creamy center, on the smaller side. We happily slurped down two dozen. We also tried the tuna bites, aguachile negro, aguachile verde, and vampero campechano. Of those four, we liked the aguachiles the best, especially the negro. And it is especially delicious when you drizzle their salsa macha over it to kick it up a notch. The salsa macha is so good, we actually bought some of it to go!Service was attentive and friendly.
