Crispy's Donuts

Donuts were fresh and service was good. They have coffee but not the traveler version for like work or a large group. Good variety of donuts though.

Tried Crispy's for the first time last weekend and wow. They are delicious. I got a dozen with a wide variety. The service was fast and he even threw an extra donut and some donut holes. This will be the new donut spot we frequent.

Very generous and nice people, great donuts. Gave me some extra donuts on the side for buying more.

Solid iced coffee and delicious flakey breakfast sandwiches. Owners are kind and generous, I'll definitely revisit this renowned spot in the community!

This Mom-and-Pop donut shop is a GIFT on Mother's Day! Unassuming from the street, we were wondering whether we should really go in or go back to our usual place, which has decent donuts but nothing to write home about.I am so glad we went in to Crispy's. The dough here is light, fluffy and absolutely delicious. The bear claw was amazing and my family enjoyed their donut holes, pink frosted donut and apple fritter.They say you can't judge a book by its cover. Guess you also can't judge a donut shop by its storefront.

A staple of the San Diego community for at least the last 19 years, they've remained uncompromising with ingredients and taste. The owner was formerly the aunt of the current owners and they've updated the scene. Donuts are still 10/10, they're fast, kind and friendly. Seating is available as well as drinks if you want to chill.

Love it! Love the history of this place! Still owned and operated by the niece of the OG Donut King's ex, Christy. If you're a foodie you must watch the incredible documentary on the donut empire- Donut King. It launched my holy-Donut-pilgrimage to visit every chain in the family, lol! The buttermilk glaze and strawberry glaze donuts are delish! Staff is incredibly friendly and kind! Do not confuse American Donut Kings with the Aussie chain. No relation at all. Gotta give 5* props to all true mom and pop donut shops. You will never find harder working, more dedicated people!

Small no frills donut shop! The person at the counter asked my husband if he was in the military and gave us a few extra donuts for free. The donuts were all excellent. I wish they had Vietnamese iced coffee.

Pleasant shop. Quiet. Enjoyed sitting on a nostalgic swivel chair while I had my donut and coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Really wanted to like this place because I'm a donut fan but when I arrived the worker was out front smoking. When I went in, he didnt wash his hands before serving the donuts and resumed smoking after I left. Out of concern for this being a health hazard, I didn't even end up eating the donuts :/
