The tousled, curly-haired, sandy-blonde dude behind the counter @ 7:55pm (5 minutes before they closed) is the reason why I'll be back again. Sure, their fried chicken here IS THE BEST everrrr, and their yakisoba and pickled radish is delish, but it's the A+ service that gets me ALL THE TIME. Ice-cold beer too? There isn't any other Korean Fried Chicken place as bad-ass as Crispy Chicken n' Tomato. They definitely win in crispy class and #1 customer service!! Come get it, and don't go anywhere else.

Paid by card. Crispy Chicken is in the same plaza as Santorini and offers a lot of plaza parking. I went here on a weekday and there was no one here so my party and I didn't have to wait long to order. We ordered easily from the kiosk. We ordered the bone in original, Korean hot dog, gyoza, and side of fries. The chicken was nicely crispy on the outside and really juicy on the inside. I didn't care for the fries but the hot dog and gyoza were ok.Overall I may or my not go back to this place.

I have to save that the crispy gyoza are literally the BEST I've ever had anywhere to date. There's vermicelli and I almost want to say mint (?) in them. So savory. The fried rice has great flavor, too. We also got the Rosé ddeok bokki as this is a more mild version of the spicy original. It still has spice, just less and is creamier with a sweetness to it. We had the original mild (still spicy) and the soy garlic chicken. Taste is phenomenal but the spice level is not something I could tolerate and I enjoy some spice. I was sweating like a sinner in church! To our luck, the staff tossed it in more soy garlic sauce instead and it was more tolerable that way. This is not your tropical Korean fried chicken but more of a Japanese take on it and had much less batter but is still crispy, just not what you're used to of expecting Korean chicken. We came in on a Friday around 3. It was pretty calm and quiet. Overall i would come back!

Given all the Japan locations, this seems like a Japanese chain serving Korean-style food...but what do I know?My bill of $28.55 for a "small" and a beer might be a new record for fast food. The $12 for the draft Stella certainly was. I do not plan to buy beer here again. Let's say my expectations were raised at that price and "to go" seems like the best option. Might explain why it seemed so slow at 8:42 on a Friday, although that's a bit late for Scripps Ranch! The chicken comes out fresh and hot so I'm confident it would remain that way after a trip back to RB Road. It's a generous portion of "just chicken" that comes out fairly quickly and packaged well to travel with little cups of Pico De Gallo and Sweet Pickled Radish, both of which I devoured...very tasty. Maybe order ahead online? So how was the chicken, you ask? In a word, delicious. If you can handle a slightly above average spice level of 6/10, the Classic Mild sauce is a must try for a first-timer. It's almost like kabob style chunks of breast meat with a thin batter, perfectly fried and juicy. When you take a bite, the first hit is a honey-like sweetness followed by subtle tomato savoryness and a slight kick at the end. Never had anything like it. Complex, but it works. So like I mentioned, I think I ordered wrong. You really should bring a friend or three. Two can share an 8 piece for $14.50 plus Fried Rice $7. That comes out to $10.75 per person. Better. A family of 4 could share a 16 piece for $27.50 add Fried Rice for $7 and French Fries for $7, which comes out to $10.38 per person. Better still! This is now one of my favorite KFC places, in between Cross Street and Padadak.

My family and I ordered take out from here a couple days ago. The food was decent at best for the price. We got the jalapeño mayo wings, classic mild wings, cheese balls, french fries, and seaweed roll. The chicken was mid and not crispy and I would not recommend the cheese balls. The stars of what we ordered was the seaweed roll and french fries. Giving it a 3 just because the service was good and I am willing to try more.

This place is a little hidden gem! We passed by their storefront so many times and finally decided to give a try. It is so good! My husband had a Monster 8 wings, it is super spicy, the sauce is also very flavorful. I had a OG original 8 wings, they are nicely fried, not heavy and very juicy. We also shared a cheese ball, this is a must have, very very delicious. The daikon pickles are good as well, matching with wings nicely. Service is nice, a little bit slow but not bad. The store is clean and bright. I like this place, it's a little bit pricey- we spent $60.

I came for the lunch special and I wasn't disappointed. I've ate at plenty of Korean places but this had the Yakisoba Combo with honey soy chicken wings. It was very tasty and it wasn't overpowering. The classic mild wings were also very good! The spice was perfect and I was wanting more. The corn slaw goes really well with both the combo and it balanced greatly with the greasiness. The chicken was tender and crunchy as well as the onion rings. Food itself is delicious and the atmosphere is chill. Portion size is great for two people so sharing is always an option. Service from staff is great. There is also self checkout if you don't want to order at the counter. Overall great experience and I definitely recommend it!

The website said they were open, the sign said they were open. There were two staff members on the inside. Both probably Gen z since you can tell their customer service ethics. Door was locked, I looked at both of them, no head nod, no shaking head. Just staring so awkwardly. Wife and I left. Never go here. That's so crazy.

So we found out about a new Korean fried chicken place opened up in the area. My kids love kfc so we had to try. Service can be slow as there's only one person(I'm assuming the owner) in the kitchen and one cashier in the front. But it's worth the wait! The chicken is crispy and juicy, but I gotta say the sauces were way too sweet for us. We ordered two orders of the medium wings, which comes in two flavors for each order. We had the garlic sauce, black aglio, soy garlic, and chicken the yori. They were all soy sauce based so they pretty much tasted the same. I would order sauce on the side as we aren't fan of wings drenched in sauces.

Surprisingly better than I expected. 4.5 round down for the price being a little on the high end. We ordered to go and hubster said the manager/ owner was very kind and gave the extra tomato salsa/ coleslaw when he arrived to pick up. Cheese balls are a must. Crispy crunchy outside with a touch of sweetness from the cheese dust. We liked this a lot. The boneless chicken are breast meat chicken chunks. We were expecting strips. But the pieces are big and meaty and moist. Preference was for the wings with bones. Original was not bad but pretty basic. Similar to the green bag of chicken nuggets chunks from Costco that social media parallels to chick filet.Kids loved the corn cheese and honey butter chicken chunks. Hubster liked the spicy wings. It was a kick spicier than gochujjang (korean red pepper paste. Good solid gentle burn.I liked the jalapeño mayo. It's messy to eat but delicious. All in all we were pretty surprised. It's definitely better than the chicken place that used to be there and completely different style. Notably different and better. Do recommend and will return for korean chicken cravings.
