Criscito Pizza is too good! I no longer need to drive all the way to Caffe Calabria or Buona Forchetta for my Neopolitan pizza fix :'). No notes for the pizza. Perfect, chewy, and bubbly crust. Ideal cheese-to-sauce ratio. Traveled superbly in the car for 10 minutes. There are some really interesting and creative toppings (I think there's a carnitas pizza option?) but we opted for the Margherita and the carbonara for the best of both red sauce-white sauce worlds. FYI: They not only have Neopolitan but also NYC style if you're into a thinner crust. We did not try their gelato and salad but are looking forward to trying them. The location can be a little bit tricky but parking in the adjacent lot (by the apartments) is ample and there is a a lot of street parking too.

the honey basil garlic pizza is so good! would highly recommend trying that one!the service here is super nice. there's a lot outdoor and indoor seating so there's no shortage of tables. they brought out the 2 pizzas super fast after we ordered, like in 15 min! both pizzas had a good flavor. the sweet and salty of the honey + cheese compliment each other super well, while the prosciutto pizza's sauce tasted really fresh. would highly recommend checking out this place if you're in the area and craving pizza!

It wasn't my most favorite pizza, but it is a cool concept that you could choose NY style or Napoletano, yet neither style was my favorite here. Although usually these are my 2 favorite style of pizza. The ambiance is clean and pretty with indoor and outdoor seating. The employees are friendly.

Nice neopolitan style fresh pizza spot. They offer some unique pizzas-- of them my favorites are the margherita and the San Diegan ones. Expensive prices for a personal pizza (low $20s) but good quality. Worth a try!

The dough is what makes the pizza amazing. Plus seeing the owner in there tossing pies is cool and his recommendation ended up being delicious: the goat cheese and fig pizza sounded weird, but was an amazing experience.

Quality establishment with a quirky parking lot. My favorite was the Fig and Goat Cheese Pizza. The fresh out of the oven hot honey taste put it over the top. In a close second was the San Diegan Pizza, which is basically a carnitas taco on a pizza with an excellent lime crema. I hope to come again and try the White PIzzaThe caesar salad was very very flavorful and large. It seemed more of a 4-person sharing size, or you can just have leftovers in your fridge.Criscito also serves 6 flavors of a local gelato. Yum!The owner and manager were super polite and easy to chat with.

The service was great and the pizza was even better. Noah was so nice and let us sample the gelato while we waited for our pizza. Pizza was done in no time and it was so much better than we expected. The crust, the sauce the toppings... all great quality and so delicious. Also, the restaurant was very clean with a spread of cheese and pepper shakers by the water dispenser. We can't wait to have them cater our wedding.

This is a new pizza shop at the Torrey Gardens apartment complex in Torrey Hills. It's fairly close to where I work so I visited after leaving the office recently. Parking near the business was limited to less than 10 spaces. I think there may be more spots available behind the building, but then you have to walk up to the front NE corner where Criscito Pizza is located. There were two entrances to the shop. I noticed the inside seating was limited to a few tables.A little over a dozen 12" pizza varieties were offered in either Neapolitan style or NY style. Five types of salad and six rotating flavors of gelato rounded out the food menu. I placed an online order ahead of time for a Neapolitan style Calabrian pizza which was cut into six pieces. The toppings were sausage, fresh mozzarella, calabrian peppers, garlic, grana, tomato sauce, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh basil. The preparation time was estimated to take 20 minutes, and the carryout box was sitting there ready when I arrived. The leafy green was missing as a topping for my pie, however that was minor. The flavor of the pizza was good with mild spiciness from the peppers. I do think it was a tad pricey ($21) for the size, although I do understand that quality ingredients were used like the homemade mozzarella.

As a former New Yorker this is hands down the best pizza I have had since coming to San Diego. The chefs to a great job using fresh ingredients and treating them with the upmost love and care to create phenomenal pizza and you can tell they love what they do and are very passionate about it. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely love to come back.
