Creole Soul

I recently placed an order from Creole Soul through DoorDash, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. When I received my delivery, I opened the bag to find a selection of items: a Jambalaya Rice Bowl, beignets, collard greens, a croissant roll, vegetable pasta, shrimp Alfredo pasta, and two Nola rolls.I started with the Nola roll, which was just okay but lacked flavor and could have used a bit more salt. Next, I tried the collard greens, but they were overwhelmingly salty. Then, I moved on to the chicken and sausage Jambalaya Rice Bowl, which was the most disappointing dish of the order. The moment I saw it, I could tell the rice was undercooked and dry. The dish had very little sausage, and the chicken, sliced far too thin, was overpowered by an excessive amount of paprika.The vegetable Alfredo's noodles were slightly undercooked, though not terrible, but the shrimp Alfredo pasta was the highlight of the meal. The shrimp was flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the beignets were another letdown, with almost no powdered sugar, leaving them with an odd taste, as well as the croissant had too much butter and honey to where the bread was wet.This was my first time ordering from Creole Soul, and, sadly, it will also be my last.

Complete waste of money, I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering, I ordered red beans and rice, the put a whole hot dog on top of my rice, there was hardly any beans and it tastes like water, absolutely no flavor. I also ordered mac and cheese; the cheese was not melted, it had whole pieces of cheese in it, the jambalaya was soooo salty I tried to add my rice with a splash of beans to it to get some flavor. Never again.

Ordered a catfish plate with red beans/rice and cabbage. All of my favorites Service: Phone answered promptly, order placed quickly. Was informed it would be 15 minutes for the food to be ready. Actual time was 45 minutes.Food: Cabbage was delicious, firm texture and seasoned well. Red beans/ rice was decent, more turkey skin than beans, and rice was a denser texture which could have been cooked 1-2 minutes longer. Catfish breading was amazing, crispy, and well seasoned. However, the texture of the fish was a little mushy and the taste was overly fishy. Been eating catfish since childhood, as it's one of my favorite fish and it's never had a strong fishy taste.Price: $18 for funsize/ sampler portions of the sides, see photo. Not Recommended

The red beans & rice were flavorless, and more butter than anything. The lemon pepper wings had good flavor but lacked crisp. I ordered from this place twice via door dash & each time they were out of something but never told me, just replaced it with something they thought I'd eat. Wouldn't recommend at all.

this food was so good. I saw y'all on ticktock and I wanted to try it out. the service was great. the setting and mood was very ambiance. I hope y'all give this place a chance beacuse I did . I am a great person for that and y'all should to‍‍

From the reviews it seems like nobody liked the food. I got the veggie Alfredo and it was actually really good but I do agree there was absolutely nothing creole about it at all.

They took my money and gave my food to someone else. No refund was given . Last time ordering . First time food tasted like it was from the day before

Food was great but the side portions were very small. I essentially paid $5 for TINY fry. When I say tiny, I mean it. It was almost funny I got like 10 fries.

Chicken wings were the smallest chicken wings I have EVER seen. The cajun chicken pasta was small noodles, sauce all on the bottom not mixed in at all. DO NOT recommend

The food tasted AWEFUL! I should have known when the driver delivered it so quickly that it was going to be some MESS! The andouille sausages is more like a red like and still waiting on the chicken to land in the red beans rice! This was the absolute worst garbage I have ever ATTEMPTED to eat, don't waste your time must less your money. Time is more precious than money, they need to pay people to eat this GARBAGE!
