Had SUCH a lovely date night at Crème De La Crepe yesterday. The sign outside had Mon-Thurs specials posted, and we stopped by for half-off appetizers. We started with the caprese salad, prosciutto bruschetta, and mussels in white wine sauce. Caprese was simple and fresh, and a pretty good portion size. The prosciutto bruschetta was SO GOOD (oh my goshhhh) and my husband raved about it. There were more mussels than I was expecting and the white wine sauce was great. For dessert, we had the Nutella crepe with a bit of whipped cream, which was deceptively good for being so simple, and also shared the Applegail crepe (also amazing!!). It turns out that the person who took our order and served our plates and was in the kitchen making the food was the owner! He told us that the new ownership started in June. He was so kind, the food is super delicious, and the environment in here is quaint and charming. We ate such a nice meal and it didn't hurt the wallet. 100/100 perfection. Definitely want to return ASAP!

Food was amazing. The cheese and charcuterie plate was good but had to much cheese and not enough meat. 100% tasty, just not quite what we had hoped for. Some hard cheese would have been nice. The crepes are over the top crazy good. The filet mignon and the sausage buckwheat crepes were to die for. The side salad was simple yet very tasty. The atmos is simple but pleasant and the servers were very good and attentive. Not really a nit, but the server we had did not know a lot about the menu. When we asked about the dishes he needed the menu to help him out. Also the check was broaufht long before we am were done and that was the only slight nit to pick. We felt a bit rushed. Hard to say anything less than five stars though. Food, service and ambience is near perfect. That said $75 for lunch is spendy. Worth it but spendy.

While I found the prices to be reasonable, I was disappointed in the lack of preparation and flavor that went into the dishes. They weren't too incredibly busy Sunday afternoon and reservations weren't needed. The servers were friendly but the food did take a while to come out. Strangely the appetizers didn't come out first and everything came out at once.=ORDERED=*French Onion Soup: very pale and sweet. The onions weren't properly caramelized and were still very firm. The broth needed more savory elements as it tasted like a bowl of sugar water.*Pate Plate: a confusing hodgepodge of ingredients. Came with two triangles of minimally roasted pate atop of greens and a side of walnuts and bread. The warm pate was crumbly and plain. The greens, walnuts, and bread were unseasoned so everything was dry and bland. I would have preferred an accompaniment of fruit, jam or cheese.* Marocaine: a savory crepe with jack cheese, spicy lamb sausage, and madeira mushroom sauce. The crepe itself was the only redeemable aspect, being thin and slightly sweet. The lamb sausage was not spicy but dry and tasteless. The madeira mushroom sauce was butter heavy and thin. Perhaps their sweet crepes would have fared better but the savory dishes were disappointing across the board. The buckwheat crepe had the most potential but the toppings were one note. Considering the food took a while to come out, I would like to see deeper flavors from Creme de la Crepe.

We came here for a crepe after dinner and it realllly hit the spot. I love crepes and this was great! The service was nice and quick as well. It was nice to be welcomed to sit inside and just get a dessert, which may feel odd at other places. We just got the preset crepe with melted chocolate, strawberries, banana, and whip cream. The crepe was nice and warm and just great. Loved it!

Cute & cozy little restaurant with friendly attentive service. Omelet was very flavorful. The chorizo, bacon, and ham was the perfect protein filled breakfast to start my day. The lavender iced coffee was a cherry on top.

My wife and I were waiting for my mom at an appointment nearby and happened upon this gem walking distance away. It was well lit, very clean, nice and bright inside, and the folks who work there were super friendly and helpful. We found a seat right by the window and waited not to long at all for coffee and our breakfast orders. I opted for black coffee, she ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk. They came out fast and were tasty and just right. We didn't wait too long at all for our breakfast orders. While ordering our entrees she asked if we wanted a sweet crepe too. We told her we did but would prefer it after we ate our savor treats. She timed it perfectly and confirmed we were ready before she put the order in. I ordered the 3 Item Omelet. I opted for avocado, spicy chicken sausage, and Monterey Jack cheese. It came with potato gratin, baby greens salad, baguette, butter & homemade jam. The jam was fresh and delightful and a perfect pairing with the baguette. The omelette was cooked perfectly, not too soft and not overcooked, and was full of my selected items. There was no skimping! The salad was a light and fresh accompaniment to the other items on the plate. The Potato Gratin were out of this world! If you like potatoes this way you will want to take a dozen orders home! My wife started with a savory crepe, the Fromage, made with gluten-free crêpe batter. What a great option for gluten-free folks. This comes with scrambled egg, brie, bacon, onion, and sautéed mushrooms. She describes the eggs as a thin layer of egg, as if they were made like the crepe. The bacon was crisp and it had just the right amount of onions and mushrooms, not too abundant but definitely available. For a special treat we shared a Bisous sweet crepe. It includes banana, strawberries, mango, Nutella and vanilla ice cream. We asked for whipped cream instead of ice cream. It was full of fruit, had plenty of chocolate and a sweet dusting of powdered sugar. It was the perfect way to end our meal. One was plenty to share between us, especially after such generous entree portions. We ended up bringing some of each of our meals home. We wanted to save room for the sweet crepe and were excited for the chance to enjoy the same delicious bites for breakfast tomorrow, or later today if we can wait. I think I heard her reheating hers now. The entire meal was $55 with generous tip and we will enjoy 4 meals along with happy memories from this morning. That's a huge win in my book!

I didn't realize Creme De La Crepe was a franchise until I clicked on their website. Hopefully, they can continue to succeed at this location which has seen numerous French and Italian eateries over the years. Parking in this part of Hillcrest was all curbside as there was no dedicated lot for this business. It was quiet when I came to their bistro setting as only one couple was dining during my visit.I started with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake which was dressed with corn, cilantro, roasted peppers, arugula, and chipotle aioli. The cake was a little loose as there did not seem to be enough binder to hold the ingredients firmly together. The taste was perfectly fine though. I definitely wanted a savory crepe for my main dish so I got the Marine which consisted of scallops and shrimp in a white wine clam sauce. The pieces of scallop and shrimp were sizable, but I wish there were more than two of each. The crepe itself was large and made of buckwheat flour. At the time, there was a free Nutella crepe offered for checking in so that served as my dessert. The hazelnut spread was so delicious along with the generous powdered sugar on top. I think their sweet crepes and brunch offerings will remain the most popular items on the menu. This neighborhood is not short on breakfast destinations, but Creme De La Crepe is worth checking out for a morning meal.

Such a cute place! I went in the morning for a little brunch cafe trip, and it did not disappoint. The place was small, quiet, and relaxing, a perfect place for a date or to go get work done. I haven't been to France, but this is what I hope for it to be like- quaint little cafes with quiet, calming vibes and cute little latte cups. The staff was very attentive- our server often checked on us, and spoke in a thick French accent, which was fun. Our food came out quickly and was delicious- I had a hot chocolate with a nice bit of foam on the top and a sweet almond and baked apple crepe. The whipped cream for the latter came with cute little rainbow sprinkles on top!Overall, would definitely recommend. Such an unassuming place soared above my expectations.
