I've visited this location twice, once with my boyfriend and today with my mother. I also have ordered take out here several times too. So this review is a combination of my experiences in terms of consistency of the food, service and the differences between take out and dine in orders. The gumbo is definitely better in person, although they did forget my order and I think they gave me a larger portion for the inconvenience (going off of other pictures that reviewers submitted and from my previous take out experience). I definitely agree that there should be more spice to it and I added some of the fresh jalapeño from the plate my mom received from her pho which perfectly added the spice that I was looking for. The gumbo is pretty generous in terms of all the meats and vegetables included with it. However, if you order take out then the rice amount they give is very small compared to dining in.The pho here is pretty decent for the pricing as I believe it is the second cheapest place to get pho in Federal Way (Pho Trang being number one). I appreciate that they let you choose your meat and not take up more menu space with different combinations, which often don't include some preferences. My mom ordered tendon and brisket but they forgot the tendon, but brought it out with soup which was appreciated greatly. I have had the cajun pho and it was pretty good with generous portions of the toppings included. The boils here are pretty good, they have a great sauce that goes with it and the prices are pretty fair in comparison to other boils. I have tried their mild and medium so far and they hit each note perfectly, I have yet to try the spicy but I do want to in the future.I also have ordered their vermicelli noodles, springs rolls, and cajun fried rice which are all great as well! I love the crispy roll in the springs rolls and they do not skimp out on the shrimp. The service here can be a hit or miss. When I visited with my mother, the server even admitted that she was doing terrible and jokingly blamed her friend (which I don't mind if you're catching up) but she never came out to check in on us or other patrons and only got up when we walked up to the counter which is where you pay for you meal once you finish. She even confesses that her husband is a better worker. I have to agree with that as when I visited with my boyfriend, the gentleman who served us and was the cashier was friendly and efficient. The interior of the restaurant is nice, however I do think they should consider some remodeling as the booth seats are worn and had rips. I do think that power towels being offered at each booth is nice especially for those going for the boils.Overall, it is definitely a mixed review as the service can bit a hit or miss, the interior could definitely get some updates, and the food quantity is definitely better for dining in.

Last meal of our trip was at Crazy Pho Cajun, a family run Vietnamese spot that specializes in Viet-Cajun cuisine. They're located in a plaza next door to ATI Physical Therapy. We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (2:00pm) with NFL streaming on the TV. The inside has plenty of seating and food comes out quickly. Menu consists of appetizers, pho, banh mi, teriyaki, fried rice, bun, rice plate, cajun and cajun boiled seafood (by the pound).- Herbs - bean sprouts, basil and lime wedges.- Cajun pho (P5) ($14.95 USD) - andouille sausage, crawfish and shrimp. We opted for medium spicyness. Broth had a subtle heat with a touch of sweetness. Mix of meats were tasty.- Gumbo ($13.95 USD) - delicious, comforting stew that wasn't heavy. Wanted more rice but tasty.Wish they had Viet-Cajun options back in Canada.

Interesting combinations of Vietnamese and Cajun food in the same locale. Really liked their Cajun Pho and the other dishes weren't too bad. Very reasonably priced but neither a fancy joint. Would definitely revisit,

First review, been going ten years but have loved it since the first year. Not authentic 'pho' flavors but everything else you could ever want from pho and cajun food. Really really really amazing!

The Cajun/Vietnamese menu was a fusion that I've never seen before. As someone who lived near New Orleans, I can now see the parallels in the dishes. Everything tasted great with generous portions. They've got the good sriracha on the tables, which I appreciate. The establishment was clean and small with plenty of cozy booths. It's a great spot to dine in or get take-out.

I tried the Cajun Fried Rice (3 stars)... It was soooo yummy! I also got the Thai ice tea , Cajun Wings and Fries.. I've come now 3 day in a row & ordered the same thing lol... The service was also top tier and the food came out pretty quick SN *I prefer my Cajun Fried Rice with no shrimp* (it's pictured but after the first time I got no shrimp).

I had a mixed Experience on my first visit to Cajun Pho Cajun. Nestled in Federal Way by the transit center, Cajun Pho Cajun boasts an enticing menu promising authentic Vietnamese flavors and Cajun delicacies. Excited to indulge in a culinary adventure, I recently visited this establishment, eager to savor their renowned spring rolls and chicken banh mi. However, my dining experience proved to be a mixed bag, with both highlights and disappointments.Let's start with the positives. The spring rolls were a delightful introduction to the meal, featuring a soft wrapped medley of fresh vegetables and fragrant herbs. Each bite burst with vibrant flavors, complemented perfectly by the accompanying dipping sauce. Similarly, the chicken banh mi showcased a harmonious fusion of tender grilled chicken, tangy pickled vegetables, and velvety mayonnaise, all encased within a so-called baguette. I was expecting a crusty baguette. Moreover, the amount and quality of food offered were commendable, providing good value for the money. Portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left satisfied without feeling shortchanged.Regrettably, the ambiance of the restaurant left much to be desired. The lack of proper ventilation became apparent as soon as I stepped inside. The heavy aroma of cooking oil permeated the air, overpowering the tantalizing scents of the dishes. Despite my best efforts to enjoy the meal, the persistent odor proved to be a distraction throughout the dining experience. Moreover, upon leaving the restaurant, I found myself carrying the scent of oil on my clothes--a less-than-ideal souvenir of an otherwise enjoyable meal. My other gripe was the service. It was kind of slow with less attention to detail like putting out plates and water glasses before bringing out the meal.In conclusion, while Cajun Pho Cajun offers a commendable selection of Vietnamese cuisine with a Cajun twist, the issue of ventilation and service detracted from what could have been a truly exceptional dining experience. With some attention to this crucial aspect of the dining environment, Cajun Pho Cajun has the potential to elevate its offerings and provide patrons with a more enjoyable culinary journey.
