Have been here a couple times now and got the tango sauce each time. It's more on the sour side if you like that flavor. The seafood is really good and the shrimps are huge! The soft shell crab is bomb, even better when you dip in your seafood boil sauce. The servers here are really nice and check on you throughout your meal. The place itself is pretty big, really nice and clean.

The Renton location of the Crawfish House is relatively new-ish. The restaurant is well-sized, but the parking lot was surprisingly limited even though the adjacent business was closed then. We were lucky to have grabbed a spot that someone vacated. When we arrived, a huge group was done eating and otherwise, only 2 or 3 tables were occupied. Even so, the two wait persons were quite busy. Maybe it is still growing pains in managing the restaurant. The décor is basically TV screens, several of them. I have never been to the other location, so I don't know if they aim to be a sports bar, too.A piece of paper at the door announced no crawfish. Ah well. We decided against ordering seafood boil because of it. We ordered ahead of two other tables who sat down after us. All three tables received our food at the exact same time at a substantially longer wait for our table. This tells me they are batch-cooking in the kitchen, grouping orders together. I hope they change to cook per order. Our fries visually looked good but were limp upon biting. They could have used more frying time. We took home most of the yam fries to air-fry some more. The Food:Catfish Basket with yam fries, $12.99 - 3.5 StarsHalf Soft-Shell Crab po boy sandwich with yam fries, $8.99 - 3.5 StarsOyster po boy sandwich with yam fries, $13.99 - 3.5 StarsThe treatment of each seafood is similar. They are all well-seasoned and well fried. All the seafoods are 4 stars. All the yam fries are 3 stars because they need more cooking time.I decided to round up to 4 stars because their prices are reasonable.

I've been going to the original restaurant in white center. Now since they open one in renton, I love it even more. Easy parking in front and back. Plenty of space, clean and more upgraded version from the white center one. This one is very specious. This time we ordered craffish chowder, Louisiana crawfish, clam and headless shrimps in House special seasoning, and we also ordered any 2 combo of Fried calamari and Fried mushrooms, soooo good and lastly, we got Smothered Catfish. And yes, we are so full!!Ps: the owner and servers are super friendly.

I been waiting for this place for a while now since I really enjoyed the food in white center. The rating is more of a 3.5 right now but I'm hoping it's because they are new that they will improve. There was about 3-4 groups when we got there so it wasn't too busy. It was also happy hour so everything was $1 off except for the boil. The place is not too loud so it was nice and I like the openess of the restaurant making it bright.Foodwise:1lb mussels + 1lb shrimp --- fresh, plump and yummy. Wish that potato and corn would be included but it's not, unless you order crawfish Crawfish corn chowder --not sure if they chopped up the crawfish too fine but did not get any crawfish at all.Soft shell crab plate with Cajun fries -- pretty good need more fries thoughRaw oysters: fresh, but needs better shucking, there was a lot of oyster shells remnant which makes it hard to eat Service: people were nice and came by to refill our water and asked how our food was. However, food came out very slowly. We ordered a second plate of the oyster and that one took soo long that the waiter keeps coming by asking if we were waiting for the check...it wasn't that busy so not sure why the slowness.Overall, I'll come back later as I do like the food but maybe give it a few months for them to improve the service.

Recently visited Crawfish House this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see that it is Viet-owned! The Renton location is relatively new, since it's been open for less than a month, and the interior design was beautiful. I learned from our waitress that the owner worked on the walls himself! I really loved the service, because we were provided plenty of gloves, fun bibs, and paper towels and felt very welcomed to dine in! Everyone was attentive of our needs, and the seafood tasted fresh! The Cajun fries were crispy and came with a Cajun-Mayo sauce that complemented it very well. It's my favorite appetizer, and I would definitely get it again. The shrimp was meaty and received many compliments from my table. The House sauce was savory and it seasoned the seafood very well, however, it was extremely buttery. If the butter was cut down a bit, it would've been perfect! We also ordered sodas for our meal, but they were all flat. For additional sides, we paid $2.50 for 4 extra sausages and potatoes, but we didn't expect them to just be small slices. Despite that, I would say this is one of the better Cajun places in Washington, and I would love to come again!

First time at this restaurant and I really didn't know what to expect. You'd think it would be a Louisiana type of seafood boil but instead it was like an Asian version of a Louisiana seafood boil and it was AMAZING! You order the type of seafood you want by the pound. Everything from crawfish to clams to mussels to shrimp and different types of crab and then you pick a sauce. The house sauce was crazy good and the whole reason I'll be coming back! It was fantastic on the seafood and even more amazing on the corn and sausage. You should definitely order at least one pound of crawfish per person and other things as well or you'll be hungry. We ordered soft shell crabs and gizzards for appetizers, yum! I would also order extra corn and sausage as part of the boil. It comes with just a few pieces with the crawfish but you'll definitely want more! Also, be sure to use their bibs and gloves. This is messy business so I'd also suggest dressing in something that you wouldn't mind getting dirty ( just to be safe). This is definitely a must try for everybody's list!

I'm not recommending this Crawfish House at all no matter what... it's not authentic Cajun food. First of all, the parking lot at is very challenge and difficult for vehicles in or out. There's no greeting, they do sign language in this restaurant to show you where to be seated cause they are too busy to watch sports or betting on it. So, you can visualize what kind of service of this business. The service was a scam, the server tried to upsell entree dishes which not on the regular menu, according to him ( special for today) not seafood dish we were try to order. Who's on earth will order chicken teriyaki noodles from Cajun restaurant. So he tried again to convince us that we should order at least 2/lbs for each clams, drunken crabs, crawfish, shrimps, red snow crabs, king crabs, crawfish and lobsters for party of Three. Smells fishy here now y'all. Move forward, did order few lbs seafood boil here. Plus 2 calamari, 2 Cajun catfish, 2 poboy soft shell crab. Likely, we all very disappointed every single dishes. Seafood boil here's..what a joke! Puréed garlic. And Lacking of Cajun Flavors deeply savory, smoky, garlicky in rich sauce. ( their house blend sucks). No water refill or even check on table once. This place isn't good for casual friendly service with friends or family gatherings and family with kids. You're unwelcome unless you're V..t Homie. I have doubt all of 4 stars reviews here's.

As a returning customer to Crawfish House, I was thrilled to about their 2nd location besides West Seattle. Ambiance: The restaurant offers a spacious and clean environment suitable for both small and large groups, providing a relaxed dining experience.Food: Crawfish House excels in serving fresh seafood, which is their biggest draw. My friends and I ordered a feast of snow crab, mussels, crawfish, shrimps, along with corn, sausages, potatoes, and bread on the side. The standout was their tango sauce, which packed a flavorful punch, especially when made spicy. Served hot in plastic bags drenched in sauce, the food disappeared in no time--we couldn't get enough! :)Customer Service: Our server was both humorous and attentive, ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience. We left with smiles on our faces, already planning our next visit!

I'm so sad to give this place 2 stars-- well I wanted to bump it up to almost 3 but there was just more cons than pros. Con: The house sauce was extremely bitter, there's a lot of puréed garlic, but you can tell it's not cooked all the way. Also ordering 3* spice, lacked in spice level. Service was not the best, the ladies were friendly but it looked like there was only 2 ladies serving throughout dining service. When the food came out it was rushed to the table and when trying to either ask for water, soda refill, or condiments, they are gone within a flash, couldn't really get anyone's attention. It took forever to check out. One lady forgot so we had to ask the other. Also a waitress slipped on the wet floor (I hope she's ok!) the man who worked there spilled something while cleaning and didn't put up a sign fast enough so the waitress who slipped on it spilled everything she was carrying. Which resulted in my pants and white shoes, & my husbands clothes were really wet. The man laughed and said she always falls... that was a bit concerning. Again I hope that lady is ok.... Well here we are leaving with wet clothes... Pro: the clams and shrimp were huge, I was surprised to see that, but still sucked the sauce was bad :( also the shrimp/ clams had a lot of grit and sand. The interior is spacious and I was surprised to see that it was nicely decorated, definitely didn't matched the outside for sure. Overall flavor wasn't there.
