Craveology - Fleet Science Center

Mediocre food served with an attitude. The workers here were basically doing the quickest job possible with my food so they can get back to standing around and chatting in the back. Taking my order was like talking to a grumpy adolescent. Getting my food: I said "thank you" and a separate grumpy adolescent all but grumbled "no problem" and marched off. No napkins, no fork, nothing. When I brought it back to the counter because my food wasn't hot; there was 1 worker at the counter helping the line and 3 huddled in the back chitchatting. Super uncool as they could see me standing there with my food and they were all trying to not be the person to have to deal with me. I had to walk into the kitchen and tell them at large that the food was not heated enough. They took it, and disappeared, no word as to bringing it to me or wait there, no apologies. The flatbread pizza was good and the 2nd meatball sandwich was good enough for the price (once it was hot). I chose not to return for ice cream (as I had planned to do) as the service had been bordering on rude. I just waited to get my children ice cream after the museum instead.

Convenient location located just outside the science center. With several tables and chairs outside, it's a good spot to sit and relax with a view of the water fountain.Prices are higher which is expected but still reasonable. Staff are friendly and efficient. I'd be back again for sure since they offer Dippin Dots.

Craveology serves excellent soft serve. The flavors are rich and creamy, and the service is quick and friendly. A perfect spot for a sweet treat! Highly recommended!

No inside seating. Outside only but some areas were shaded. Located next to the fleet science center and the giant water fountain. Parking behind fleet or across the way near the carousel. Gets busy/full around 11am.Line was out the door and stayed out the door the whole time.They accept card and cash.Food: don't get the dip n dots, it's $7 for super tiny pouch. You are better off getting their soft serve swirl. Soft serve: $5 It doesn't seem like you can get one just a single flavor. The swirl is any flavor mixed with vanilla. I just wanted strawberry and they couldn't do it. They can't mix strawberry/chocolate, they can do half on top and half on the bottom of the cone or cup if you want. Good value, recommend.

This little restaurant has what you'd expect from a place that caters to mostly children and their families-chicken strips, fries, grilled cheese, ice cream. It was the ice cream that attracted us, but it was the bowl of chili that made me a believer. It was a rainy day and a bowl of chili hit the spot just right.The food took a few minutes to prepare, but the cashier set that expectation at the beginning, so we were ok with the wait. The dining is outside on the patio which was nice, but there were not enough chairs for all the patrons. We ended up standing around an empty table since chairs had been re-distributed to other parties.

The average two star rating for Craveology is pretty accurate. This place is way overpriced and the service is very slow. I ordered the pretzels with cheese (photo below) and it tasted like it was heated up in the microwave. The portion was so small for the $6.45 I paid. Their ice creams are over priced too. If you're in Balboa Park, there's lots of other snacking options you can try, or bring your own snack if you're visiting the Fleet Science Center.

Fairly typical for a park quick service restaurant. Place your order inside, then find a seat outside. They do bring any food that required more preparation to your table. We had a cheese pizza and a hot dog. The hot dog was given to us right after we ordered. The pizza took a little bit longer, but not that much longer. I would place it slightly better than concession food at a movie theater, and a little cheaper, but more than you would expect to pay if this wasn't inside a public park.

The grilled cheese and the chicken were good, service was fast, and there was outside seating (wheelchair accessible). Only thing i didn't care for was the prices. 9 dollars for like 4 pieces of chicken is a lot.

A convenient choice after a morning around the museums. They have a decent selection of drinks, snacks, and some basic entrees. A bit on the pricy side, but as expected for something so convenient in the Balboa Park area. I've stopped in most times I'm leaving one of the museums, and the food has always been decent and the people friendly.

Pizza insanely greasy and the cheese tasted rubbery couldn't even finish it, the chicken "tenders" were wet in the middle not reaching my satisfaction, The spice chicken wasn't even spicy.
