Yes, have your next dining experience at Cracked. Laid back, open seating. Very friendly service. The variety offered on their menu is genius. This is a great place to go if you have a party of people with a variety of tastes! I had a large order of French toast bites, which were soft, warm, with the perfect amount of flavor. I also had the American Dream (2 eggs, hash browns, and sausage) all which were good & I have no complaints for. The guacamole was also delicious! In my opinion, the portion sizes were also very reasonable. However, the mimosa flights were smaller than what I would have desired (they were still cute). Can't wait to come back again!

Friendly and attentive personnel who let us in at exactly 8am when they opened and recommended the best table which is the one right by the window. Boyfriend ordered a breakfast bowl while I got a maple latte and the eggs benedict dish (sorry, forget the exact name). All the dishes were delicious and the portions were generous for the price. Coffee was good but not special. Will definitely come back!

What a fun little spot! Restaurant layout/dining area is a little awkward - we only noticed this when a couple with a giant (expensive) stroller came in. Menu was ample! Lots of choices all with an interesting flair. Drink as well as food specials. My husband and I both ordered an Irish Espresso (see pic below). The beverage was cold (probably because there was like 8oz of whipped cream on top). It was strong and good...just cold. Maybe offer in a smaller mug?My husband had thr frittata (which was beautifully plated - he refused to let me take a picture of it because he was hungry). I had the chilaquiles - also delicious. Service was good. Everyone seemed very kind. Would definitely come here again!

A small unsuspecting breakfast place on a street littered with breakfast places, what I liked about Cracked was its service and its simplified menu. Our server was attentive without being too overbearing, charming and funny without it coming off as unauthentic. The menu gives you a nice variety of breakfast items, some you know and some with a twist. The BYO Bowl is a great go-to, especially for vegetarians or those who just don't want meat. Came with a hefty amount (maybe a bit too much for my taste) pesto sauce. And the Mi-Mo Flight is a cute touch: Enough to accompany your meal without being buzzed.

This is a cute, nicely decorated brunch spot on Wicker Park's Milwaukee Ave with good vibes; quick, friendly service; and the option for indoor or outdoor seating. The food was decent though not very memorable. I ordered the Vegasm Breakfast Sandwich. The bread was a little stale and not as soft as I would've preferred, but the inside tasted pretty fresh, filled generously with cheese, eggs, and veggies. My group also shared the Cajun Tater Tots, which was crispy and tasted pretty standard, though the cajun flavor wasn't very strong.Overall, the food is decent and the prices are fair. Their menu is diverse and creative, and the vibes are fun for an enjoyable brunch with friends. I'd be interested in coming back with friends in the future for a simple, solid brunch. -- Price (relative to peers): 4.2/5Food: 4.1/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Overall Value: 4.1/5

Great food. My daughter had the French toast bites, which were super good. I had the chorizo skillet, and even though I forgot to ask for no jalapeño, I was able to eat around them and really enjoyed it. Service was quick and our server was very nice. I gave 4 stars because it had a bit of a weird smell, but I stopped noticing it after a few minutes.

Went there for breakfast recently, but in fact it was on my list for quite a long time. I was a fan of Cracked on Green near UIUC long before and was excited to try their new spot in Chicago! Compared to the one near UIUC, this one is larger, offers sit-down service, and most importantly they have a larger menu including those classics served in Cracked on Green. My friend ordered Dr Seuss burrito and I tried their biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were delicious. The burrito was healthy and hearty, having lots of fresh veggies inside. My biscuits and gravy was even more interesting: three fluffy biscuits topped with special chorizo gravy (my first time to have chorizo gravy!) and then two perfectly fried eggs. The special gravy way more flavor than traditional ones, and the chorizo inside went great with the biscuits. I also had tomato basil soup as my side. It tasted greater than that served in Cracked on Green. Besides, service was quick and price was reasonable (considering the huge portion size). Will definitely come back!

I am obsessed with Cracked! It is truly a Chicago breakfast staple. Everything on their menu is so good. They have unique sandwiches that are so delicious. Most recently I got the Morning Bender with bacon and a side of Parmesan Truffle tots. The French toast bites are the perfect sweet addition to any meal. The service is super speedy and they have amazing coffee as well. They also deliver to my house which is a plus. They recently added delivery downtown in the South Loop area so I can get their food delivered in more areas in the city. Couldn't love Cracked more!

I'm a UIUC alum so I ate at the OG spot in Champaign countless times! Great place for breakfast food! My visit reminded me of my college days haha. I love that the Chicago location has a more extensive menu that I would love to try during my next visit. Dr. Seuss burrito: I would get this burrito all the time in Champaign. I would say it's the "healthier" burrito because it has more veggies. Overall very good, just a little greasy.Hungry chief burrito: This burrito is my bf's fav because it's got chorizo in it! Delicious - especially with hot sauce added.Sides: I also got a side of their infamous tater tots and their french toast bites. I got the parmesan truffle tots and they didn't disappoint. I get their tots every time! The french toast bites were ehh to me. They were kinda soggy too. Majority of the bites were almost all egg from the batter so it just tasted weird eating egg and syrup. I would pass on those next time.
