Crab Fever San Diego

We went on a Saturday evening, it was completely empty so we had the place to ourselves pretty much. The lady attending us was very sweet and patient when it came to us ordering. The food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. My boyfriend loved his food and so did it. It was far less expensive than other places. We paid $50 for our food which included drinks. The lady didn't bother us while eating and she even set up plates, napkins, and limes for us. We didn't pay an 18% gratitude fee that I see a lot of the 1 star review mention... not sure if that's changed overtime. However the food was delicious and we'll be going back!

I haven't been here in years! Our daughter visiting from college (HPU) wanted some seafood she remembered this spot when I brought her here years ago. We had been out to Coronado Island enjoying the day. And it was time to grub! And she can grub!We rolled in ready to get our grub on! OMG it was freezing in here! I joked and said if anyone asked where we ate I would tell them Alaska!! The other thing I noticed, which I feel is a bit poor taste and that was music selection. It was like walking into a club downtown! I told the server that and she just laughed. Maybe that was setting the mood for a certain crowd at a certain time. Like after hours on a Friday or Saturday. But not on a Sunday. Anyway, the food was certainly as we remembered. Delicious! Even though some say it's not harmful, I'd rather not eat shrimp with the "vein" left in. Wifey was a little grossed out because a few of her shrimp had the "vein" Of course baby girl had a ball because she had the crab! She went in! As I say "Elbows in" she was a happy camper. A good send off back to college!Eat up y'all!M&M

Had to come back to this awesome spot to celebrate my friend's birthday. We arrived and we were seated right away. The hostess/server is always SO AWESOME, love her! We looked over the menu and we both ordered a Combo #2 each: Shrimp, Crab legs, sausage, potatoes, and corn in the seafood boil bag. Also, we both ordered margaritas on the rocks. This time we didn't do garlic bread or sides.The experience was absolutely great and the food was delicious. We will continue to come here as it is definitely our favorite crab seafood boil spot. Our hostess is always so kind and sweet and she makes sure that she answers any questions that we have very well.

If you had boiling crab... then you will like this place.. the sauce is similar. The Cajun fries on the other hand, not so much... nothing compare with Boiling crab.

I recently dined here, and unfortunately, my experience was far from delightful. The crab they served was old and had a distinctly unpleasant extra fishy flavor, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Adding to the disappointment, they charged $3 for what they advertised as butter, but it turned out to be margarine. This was misleading and frustrating, especially considering the price. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my visit and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

So glad I found this place! It was AMAZING.I got it to go so I can only imagine how it tastes if I were to dine in.I ordered the Combo #1 , medium spice level, with their fever sauce and it was SO fulfilling - I couldn't even finish it .It came with shrimp, crab fish, and mussels.The menu is a scan code so I couldn't take pics but I'm sure you can find it online. Even though I had the oysters to go, it was still fresh! Hostess was nice and the place played Spanish music but it was quiet and not that busy .The garlic edamame wasn't anything to rave about - tasted like soy sauce and chopped garlic but overall - definitely recommend !

Very yummy! We got the seafood boil combo #1, came with a lot of mussels, clams & shrimp. Definitely worth the money considering I left with leftovers for the next day. Service was great and fast.

The parking lot is very crowded and chaotic. If you are able, save yourself some time and find a spot near the of the parking lot instead of circling for a close one. The seafood boil here is just as tasty as other places in the area, but the service has been pretty slow the couple times we have been here. We came at opening both times so maybe they were still getting things ready for the day?Prices are decent and so is the food. There's nothing wrong with this place, but nothing special either. They don't have an easily accessible hand washing area, only inside the restroom.

We had the combo number 2 loved the flavor great service and nice decorations ! We will definitely be back!

Incredible seafood at a reasonable price. I enjoyed a delicious dinner here every evening since landing in San Diego!
