Cousin's Brothers BBQ

I've been coming here for years and this is one of my favorite BBQ spots. The food here is consistently amazing, flavorful, and purely delicious. The service here is always 5 star and the fact that the pricing has always been a good fit for my budget.I usually get the sliced chicken sandwich which comes with a side and I opt for the Mac n cheese or greens. Oh and I cannot forget the bbq sauce, the sweet and savory sauce that only adds to the deliciousness of the chicken. The chicken is always seasoned well and never salty or dry. The Mac n cheese has somehow gotten better. Its creamy and cheesy and always a wonderful compliment to the chicken sandwich. When I have decided on the greens, they are always full of flavor and good.I absolutely love coming here and when I'm in the mood for BBQ, I'm definitely taking a trip to Cousin's Brothers!

I visited this spot today and I will give it 3 1/2 stars. For a platter and drink expect to pay about $20. This restaurant had a name change fromThompson's Brothers BBQ to Cousin's Brothers BBQ. I tried the smoked salmon. The salmon was fresh and seasoned well; however, I did not get the taste of a good smoked salmon. In fact it didn't taste smoked at all. As far as the sides, it wasn't anything to scream about. The mac & cheese was cooked more in a cheese sauce missing that old fashioned macaroni and cheese our grandparents use to make. The collard greens were bland, lacking any kind of flavor. The cornbread put me in the mind of Jiffy cornbread mix. Would I recommend the smoked salmon platter? It's a no for me. I have tried the ribs in the past when it was the Thompson's Brothers and I did find them quite tasty. Perhaps I will stick to the actual ribs, briskets, etc. next time.

Our Family gathering was July 29, 2023 the food was catered by Cousins BBQ. We had 60+ family members.When I tell you the food was outstanding and finger licking good,Smoked salmon, bbq sliced chicken and falling off the bone ribs along with tasty baked beans, creamy mac and cheese, good old fashion potato salad the house wine which is southern sweet tea and sweet lemonade. Here' the go to Cousins delivered and set it up plates forks bbq sauce cups and ice.Of course there is a price dont fret Cousins is worth every penny. oh by the way the food arrived hot.We had nothing left. So call Mike make your order and enjoy...we did! In fact the family is still talking about that delicious good food.

Love this place! The smoked barbecue salmon is my favorite but they have great brisket and all homemade sides! Customer Service is excellent!

The Thompson Brothers sold to family; hence cousins and brothers. Same location off Cobb Parkway. Traditional Southern BBQ. Sides: get greens and mac-n- cheese. Definitely get the HOT BBQ sauce on the side. Small family, black owned restaurant. Service is average as it takes time to prepare a good meal and very reasonable price point.

When we are outside NC, we like to see if other state BBQ establishments can live up to NC BBQ. Cousin's Brothers BBQ can.Brisket was moist , cut nicely, had awesome bark and a great flavor.Chopped Pork too was nice, moist not dry good flavor without having to add any sauce. Great BBQ doesnt require any additional sauce! Good job.Typically we get Turkey BBQ, but we gave their boneless chicken BBQ! Again, right on! We were very happy to find this BBQ gem! We will definitely be back. Thank you for great BBQ!

Had the ribs, baked beans and potato salad. The spicy sauce was on point. The restaurant was clean as well. Mom had the brisket and raved about it too.

Wow! This place catered an event at the last minute for us and they were so helpful and the food was amazing! We're from out of town and when a friend who is local showed up - he more than approved and I think was a little surprised that we'd found the best place to get bbq! The salmon was something we hadn't had with bbq before and it was sooo good - and we should have ordered more peach cobbler! Thank you so much!!
