We visit Country Griddle and we had a great experience. I had Banana Pancake combo and it was delicious. My sister had machaca scrambled with eggs onions tomatoes with country potatoes. She enjoyed every bite. We loved the music. Our server was wonderful and very attentive and we will definitely return.

Little spot nested in the strip mall is well worth the stop. It's only open for breakfast and lunch. Menu had a good variety of items on both sections. Waitress was fast, friendly, efficient and had a smile. Food came out quickly and hot! Portion size was big and we are taking food home. We tried the breakfast burrito with bacon. Nice ratio of eggs, potatoes and bacon. The salsa was a nice addition on the side. Also added a side of beans. Nice and creamy and cheesy. Also had the chocolate chip pancakes. Two large pancakes were on the plate. The pancakes were light and fluffy and filled with lots of chocolate chips. We will definitely be coming back. Nice small home town quality restaurant.

How do you like your eggs in the morningI like mine with a kiss...Berry attentive staff as we strolled in before the morning rush. Very clean place, has nice music in the background while you eat your breakfast. We stopped by as we drove into town to stretch our legs and take the hunger monster. I didn't feel like venturing into the wild of the menu so went with good ol' faithful eggs, bacon and country potatoes and a coffee. My wife went with the blueberries pancakes as it's usually her favorite when I make them on the weekends. She said mine were better (maybe it's bc I have a secret ingredient....lots of love)! I asked for salsa, but it just tasted like pico de gallo without the pico. Overall the food was ok I wasn't wowed by anything but the service was good.

I was working in the area and jumped on yelp to see if any good spots to catch a quick bite and Country Griddle was on the top of the list. The ambiance is chill, county decor, service was good. We ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, potatoes, with a side of biscuits and gravy. Something about the potatoes they were super delicious. The pancakes were good. My friend ordered avocado toast and she said it was really yummy. Hit this spot for some good home cooking and I recommend the potatoes 100%

We found this place after we didn't want to wait over an hour at Black Bear Diner on a Monday morning and are thrilled we did! Friendly, excellent service, scratch made food, even down to the homemade strawberry jam which was exceptionally delicious. My wife had the southern omelette which had some of the best tasting chorizo I have tasted. I had the country stack which consisted of sausage patties over biscuits, over easy eggs covered with sausage gravy. Hearty and delicious. This place is so good I can actually see myself making excuses to drive to Avondale at breakfast!

Cute diner vibes. The food was fantastic. I had the country skillet. It was great- the country potatoes made the dish. I also had an English muffin( which seemed homemade) with their homemade jam. I would buy that if they sold it by the jar. The biscuits and gravy were good as well. Hubby said the coffee is good too

All the food we ordered was ok. Good, nothing was exceptional except service was nice and quick. It's small and was busy with a wait Sunday morning. Since it's small and packed, it's very loud inside.

I LOVE breakfast places and diners! Country Griddle is the type of place I really wanted to be amazing and delicious. For the most part it was exactly what I was looking for. C.G. is in a small strip mall and has seating for around 50 people. We (party of 4) got there around 8:30 and by 8:45 it was packed with a wait. Our waitress Olivia was outstanding and patient as we tried to pour through the pretty diverse menu. She kept my coffee full, all while serving with only two other servers. We ordered an omelette (which had a great response), avocado toast ("it was good, avocado was fresh and it made a full meal), vegetable scramble (this was mine and was exactly what I wanted) and French toast. I also REALLY enjoyed my coffee and the size of the mug in came in. Not sure what the roast was but it was really good! The French Toast was the biggest miss for our table. It seemed while all of the other "exotic" orders were great, the most plain order was the most disappointing. The eggs were cold and had a slice of cheese on top and the toast itself was nothing special in taste or appearance. In full transparency I also have to say the biscuit I got was doughy and had no real taste at all which I think would be disappointing if I got biscuits and gravy. At the End of the Day I will absolutely go back to the Country Griddle as my meal was fantastic but I would be remiss if I didn't warn readers to stay away from the simple. The prices are quite high with every meal being $10+ but the portions were fair and like I said I got everything I wanted from my breakfast experience!

Second time here, and it was great.California Benedict and one buttermilk pancake to split. The Benedict was tasty. Bacon was crispy, hollandaise flavorful and the potatoes had the perfect amount of crisp. The pancake was really good, actually tasted like vanilla cake. It was difficult to cut, but it was really good.Service was fast and friendly. It was busy in a Saturday morning, but it was not too loud. Glad that we came back.

Well, on my first visit, I couldn't decide between the Chilaquiles or the Huevos Rancheros. I asked our sever, Olivia for her opinion. She said the Chilaquiles were the best. And they were fantastic, BUT, I could help but wonder about the Huevos Rancheros. So, I couldn't resist. On my last trip there, I decided to compare them.Olivia once again served us and helped me to create a combo, so that I could have both. And, I wasn't disappointed. The Huevos Rancheros were really good. The Chilaquiles were as good as before. So which was better? I came to the conclusion that it was apples and oranges. They were different enough that they really couldn't be compared. The Chilaquiles are almost like crispy cheese enchiladas and the Huevos Rancheros were similar to a bean tostada with salsa and an egg on top. So do I want a cheese enchilada or tostada? I want both! I do agree with Olivia's recommendation. Go with the Chilaquiles first! My little comparison turned out to be a win, win for me. Yum!
