Perfect everytime!!! As a person who wakes up at 2am Monday-Saturday for work and not getting able to enjoy breakfast as much, I love that this place never fails when I order breakfast for dinner. From the biscuits and gravy, to the waffles, pancakes, country fried steak and eggs, it's always fresh when I order even in the evening. I always recommend this to my family when they come in town. I love this unassuming lil diner that's stood the test of time. Ordered off piste with a simple black tea, I love those mugs lol, sourdough toast, perfectly buttered and piping hot, 1 egg OM which was still a lil more runny than I like and extra crispy hash browns were actually honest to goodness hash browns thank goodness- I'm so grateful and it's the kind of comfort food I was after today. Pancakes and biscuits were very good. Served a great portion of hash browns but the chicken fried steak is served in small portion. I also had a Tabasco sauce on table that had bubbles in it. So i would check the dates on the condiments they serve. Diner smelled old and greasy. Chairs were old and uncomfortable.

Back to try the breakfast and it was pretty average. This place is clearly the definition of a greasy spoon. if you dine at the counter. Do you want your toast manhandled by the waitress with no gloves. She touches your toast to cut it in fours and then hangs on tight to the toast to butter it. My meal involved fairly normal buttermilk pancakes and a terrible plate of unseasonably home fries. No onions, peppers or salt and pepper in the out of the bag potatoes. Lots of career waitresses here as well.

Third time here for breakfast , every time wonderful service and great food . I've seen the negative reviews and doubt how genuine they are , every place has a problem day or two , so I take it as I see it . The chicken fried steak omelet is huge cheesy and great along with a giant square of crispy hash browns , biscuits and gravy were perfect as well , I will always suggest this place first for some real down home American cooking , I wish them more business comes daily

I had already tried the new and improved Country Boys 2 weeks ago, I had a double cheese burger and Mac and cheese bites, it wasn't great, but I convinced myself to go back and try their breakfast. So today I came back and ordered a breakfast burrito, I was told there were two options first option was a small burrito with a side for $9, second option was one big burrito for $17 rounding up, after taxes, I got the big one. The problem is I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes before my food was ready, I was the only car in the drive thru. Then, I gave my card to pay and that took another 8 minutes just to pay. I finally get home to the burrito and it's honestly not big at all, and it tasted very mediocre to justify paying $17. Sorry but this place is just not going to be getting anymore money or time from me. Only positive is the waitress that took my order was very nice and welcoming, however the lady that took my payment seemed like she just woke up and hated her life.

Ordered on DoorDash. Got a BLT with barely any bacon. Bread was soft even though it should have been toasted. Sandwich was so tiny, definitely NOT worth $10 and the fries were cold and soft. Do not recommend takeout!

Being a recent transplant to the Phoenix area, I was looking for a good, country breakfast. I found it today at Country Boys! From the second we walked in, Jay greeted us from behind the counter like we were regulars! The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming! Hugs (with a side of loving sass) were on the menu for true regulars:-) The atmosphere felt like a place where everyone is family! And the food...the food was amazing!!!! 'Seasoned perfectly and probably the best breakfast we've had since relocating here! So when you don't feel like a fancy fru-fru breakfast and just want something filling, reasonably priced, and delicious- this is the place!
