Cotixan Mexican & Seafood

If you like simple Mexican....Not the best but not the worst. Had a bean and cheese burrito what can you get wrong? Boyfriend got enchilada rated a 7/10

I've been driving through this location for years when an El Co craving hits and I don't feel like getting out of my car. I feel like the quality has gone down over the years and honestly, I now think it's better to drive to the Genessee location and walk inside.My California burrito was a little cold in the inside and the cheese wasn't melted. It was fine, but honestly the red salsa was doing the work. This was a $7 burrito, not a $12 one.Service was slow and the staff isn't overly nice. I don't think this location is really worth it anymore.

Check your order. The older lady that's working doesn't check shit. Every time she's working my order is fucked up. I'm tired of driving back there to complain. Fuck el co.

Kinda expensive for tacos. 2 tacos $10.78 with no sides. The potato taco lacked flavor even with their salsa. The service was kinda non existent. No greeting upon entering. The only time the cashier spoke was when we asked to use the bathroom and just gave the code. It has been a while since I ate at a cotixan Mexican restaurant and I used to think their salsa was way better and I don't remember it being this much for a couple tacos. Not so sure I'd be back with the cost and experience this time around. Just was very underwhelming with the flavor mostly. Tasted like canned mashed potatoes.

It may appear like a Cotixan, it may smell like a Cotixan, it may even cost like a Cotixan. But beware, everybody, because one of these isn't like the others!I was the only customer near 7 AM, when getting my Friday breakfast: a chorizo burrito. I'd ordered that before from other Cotixan locations. This time, I inquired if I could get a half burrito (because I would exercice right after and didn't want that much greasy/spicy food). With a slighted look, the employee denied, then kept up a curt, annoyed attitude for the rest of our interaction. Plus, the kitchen was noisy, with an equally loud radio(?) playing in the background--which meant I frequently needed to repeat myself.The (full) burrito I ended up receiving was blander than previous times. It might have been somewhat undercooked, as well. And their watery yellow hot sauce didn't match the usual creamy, velvety version. I wondered if this was a "Cotixan" in name only.

Not the same as the other cotixan restaurants. Sauce and everything was different. Service was nice but food overall was disappointing.

Claudia and Heriberto are some of the best people I know. I've gotten rolled tacos here for 17 years and no Cotixan in San Diego does it as amazingly as this location does. They're always friendly and kind no matter what time it is and they're food NEVER disappoints! You guys are amazing!

I ordered food here last night on door dash and I am so sick. Not even five minutes after eating I ran to the bathroom and had diarrhea. Then I woke up at 2am and 5am and threw up everything in my stomach. I contacted doordash and they refused to do anything for me and asked me to seek medical help although I'm not able to get away from a bathroom for more than 20 minutes. I have never been so sick in my life.

WORST MEXICAN RESTAURANT EVER. I order a chicken soup and it was really bad, they gave me a side of avocado and rice pretty decent. The chunks of zucchini was just TOO BIG. I also order the shrimp burrito... this is literally a rice burrito at this point. all rice no shrimp. In the first half I had 2 shrimps and in the second half 1. All rice and salsa. Service terrible.

Burrito came with metal from a scrubber inside, this is completely unacceptable never come here...
