We stopped by the market yesterday to see the selection of italian products which we love. They have a variety of salamis, proscuittos, ham, mortadella, cheese - reasonable prices for being from Italy. Courteous service, sliced & packaged beautifully like it should be.They carry variety of pasta, olives, coffee and more. We definitely will be back for more.Restaurant section looks beautiful & formal, will have to try one of these days.

Given it's still in its early days, I'm hopeful Corso Italia will come into its own and become a local go to. Right now it's a 3.5 star experience -- I rounded up instead of down since they are still so new. This is a review for the restaurant only.As it stands now, the prices are very high for what you get and then they nickel and dime you for everything. They offered to split the pasta for us (we didn't ask) and they charged $2 for doing so. We asked for a little more bread that already came with our dish and were told we'd have to buy a basket. Then they shockingly even charged for adding a tiny bit (as in a few slivers) of parmesan to what was otherwise an incredibly bland salad - I've never experienced that in all my years of dining out all over the world. Unfortunately those petty add-ons soured the experience a bit. While the food was good, the portions are modest and nothing really blew me away to where the steep prices would feel justified. The majority of the space is occupied by the market - the dining area itself is relatively small, and certainly not reminiscent of the Michelin Star vibe it appears they are aiming for. That said, it's still a fairly inviting spot with a cute bar that would be enjoyable for a laid back evening out or nice lunch should they bring the cost more in line with the overall experience.

You have to try this place!! The food is phenomenal, everything tastes so fresh and hand made! Our waiter was the bartender who is so knowledgeable & very kind & the service was amazing! This was our second time back & it was just as good as the last time! The market is so cute & filled with so many authentic ingredients & the restaurant is very low-key, yet has a high-end classy feeling! I love this place so much, so happy I found it!

I had lunch here with a friend today. It's a nice space but i hope seating options with the lunch menu will change. Unless you order from the dinner menu you CANNOT sit in the 'dining room area' for lunch but have to sit on stools that face a wall! So we chose the dining room because we didn't want a large lunch. We ordered the arugula salad with salmon walnuts and pomegranate seeds. $18. It was a very large portion of arugula. ..That's not the easiest green to eat & the amount of salmon and walnuts were sparse.Bread was six dollars extra for six slices. The olive oil was very good but had to ask for it as butter was not offered. It would have been better in my opinion if there was a mixed green salad that had some Romain butter lettuce, and not just the arugula with the salmon. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo.! The pastas on the menu looked very good but I did not want a 30+ dollar pasta for lunch. The hostess was very nice. Our server was OK. Told me I wasn't allowed to bring any drinks into the restaurant. I brought my own water to drink in case the water tasted like chlorine but it didn't. I told her I put my water away just seemed a little strange to me. I hope the kinks will be worked out as I would like to try the restaurant again, but I really don't want to sit on barstools when eating. and if you come in with several people, I'm not sure where they would sit you if you want the lunch menu.

Everything was amazing! It gives you such a variety of options depending on what you're in the mood for during your visit! I have only found places, like this, where you can have multiple experiences in one place in New York or Chicago. You can chose from the market side which is more casual & has delicious sandwiches & pizzas or you can chose a more elegant sit down option in the fine dining area with the most amazing homemade Italian pastas & so many other mouth watering authentic Italian dishes. During our dinner Chef Corrado came to check to make sure everything was to our standard & was so friendly while making sure we were satisfied. On top of ALL of that, the staff is so friendly & knowledgeable with their top priority being that you have the best experience & service possible! I have been to Corso Italia twice since it opened & this will now be a regular weekly occurrence for me! AMAZING!

I know Corso is still in a soft opening, however for an owner that claims to make authentic Italian food, the results are underwhelming. We stoped in for wine and appetizers. The wine list by the glass is very limited. We were expecting at least 6 options each of quality Italian wines by the glass for red and white only to find 3-4 of each; and they were out of one of the whites. We ordered the Frito Misto, listed as a serving for two of calamari and shrimp, in a spicy red sauce with a fire roasted lemon....it took 20 minutes and arrived without red sauce, plain lemon and about 3 ounces of shrimp and calamari sauteed in oily bread crumbs. After two bites we sent it back and were not charged, but WOW.... could be one of the worst appetizers I have had in my life....and at a price of $36! We finished our wine, still hungry, and went to the deli for a take home dish. We opted for the eggplant parmesan at $18.00 a lb.; two slices and a tip for the waitress and we were north of $30.00 for the WORST eggplant that I ever have had. The red sauce lacked any flavor, and the eggplant was bitter with no flavor resulting in a dense brick of nothingness. Again for an owner that claims to be an Italian restaurateur, he is headed down a path of failure. The place is cute and the idea may work, but very, very expensive bad Italian food is not a recipe for success. Guido's Italian Meats and Deli one mile way offers QUALITY AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD for 60% less.

We shared the Pinsa, which was I felt was doughy and undercooked. We also had the Branzino which was excellent. The service was just okay the ambiance was lacking. I thought the prices were on the high side for our dining experience. I stopped by the market and the prices seemed to be quite high. The olives were $19.99 for a pound. It was fun to try a new restaurant, but I don't think we will be returning.
