I love this distillery. We took a tour with Amanda. She was awesome. We were heading out to another distillery or so we thought. Ended up drinking here after the tour and never left.Staff is great, drinks were delicious, and the tour was fun. This is a short tour as it is very small, but samples are plentiful. My favorite was the rye whiskey. We will return on our next visit.

You should advertise that 20 minutes til closing, no one can be served. I raced across town to take a bourbon connoisseur here to taste your bourbon 20 minutes til closing only to be told no. He's from NYC. Who knows when he'll be here again. Just disappeared with the lack of hospitality this town used to have.

Fantastic afternoon with Amanda at Corsair! We enjoyed seeing the equipment used to make the spirits they sell, and learned about how they use their barrels multiple times for different spirits (spiced rum is the second spirit stored in barrels, etc.), so that said spirits imbue some of the flavors of the barrel and the spirits that came before. It was just me and Dad at 2pm on a Sunday. But mostly we had a great time with our tour guide/bartender Amanda. She told us about the various spirits during our tasting, she told us about the history of the company, about how she ended up in Nashville, what her favorite restaurants are, and was genuinely interested in us as tourists. It was so much fun. We had planned to do some other things, but ended up just spending two hours at Corsair tasting spirits, honey, barbecue sauce, and anything else they had there.

This location is the perfect size for small groups(1-3 people). The tours are like a mini skirt long enough to keep your attention short enough to cover the topic. Definitely worth a stop if you are waiting to checkin anywhere the drinks are smooth and if a high quality that you don't need many. The service is great. They greeted us upon entry and sue to attending others there was a little wait. We didn't get attended to first but I didn't mind since Copper stopped by to show me some love.

Signed up for the tour ($20) and it was well worth it! You get a tour of the back area where they produce their liquor which takes about 15-20 min and then you come back out to the front area and sample. The tour was informative and she was really knowledgeable about any follow-up questions we had. We got to try 6 tastings on the standard menu which included a vanilla vodka, two gins, spiced rum and two smoked whiskeys. Decent pours too! After we finished the six, she also let us try a couple other interesting ones like an oat whiskey, red absinthe (very licorice-y) flavor and another that smelled like an IPA. Each drink was so unique. Very cool to get to try everything one after another. Afterwards we got a cocktail (very fairly priced at $12) and sat on their outdoor patio where a friendly distillery cat was also chilling by the name of copper!

I'm much more of a winery person than a distillery person, but my bf loves whiskey and as a compromise, he let me pick the place to ensure I would also enjoy the visit as well. The search was easily concluded when I saw this location has a cat. Reservations were easily made online the day before - they do accept walk ins as well but I didn't want to risk it since it was a Saturday. We got lucky with parking and found a spot right outside the distillery. Our tour guide was really great and informational, and the tour ended with some tastings at the bar. Besides whiskey, we also tasted a vanilla vodka, 2 types of rum, an American style gin, and a bonus tasting of their red absinthe. I knew I couldn't finish the generous pours the tour guide was giving us, so I recommend asking for tiny pours if you're the same and know a lot of the liquor will just be wasted in their buckets! After the tasting, you can buy some of their glassware or bottles to take home, but we didn't end up buying anything because nothing really stood out to us. Instead we headed over to their other bar to try a cocktail made with some of their spirits. I tried a gin and rosemary fizz which was much more enjoyable to me than their gin straight, though I really don't think gin is something most people sip neat anyway. My bf got an old fashioned which he enjoyed. The best part was sitting next to the cat at this bar. His name is Copper and he is well socialized! I would go back just to see him again.

A very creative distillery. We have been Corsair fans since before they moved to Nashville. Corsair continues to experiment and produce unique products. The tour provides an overview of their production process. The tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The tasting was also informative, providing details of each of the six sampled products (and a few others).

Stumbled upon this distillery that is tucked away inside Marathon Village in Nashville. They were pouring a couple of gins that aren't your run-of-the-mill gins, you get notes of citrus even. The whiskeys were equally as interesting, there was one that if you spilled it on your hand would smell like a tootsie roll, that one had that kind of chocolate note to it. I wish I could remember our pourer's name, he was awesome. He let us try a vanilla bean vodka that wasn't part of the tasting that was not sweet, definitely going to pick up that and a few others when I get back to CA and head to BevMo or Total Wine & More.
