I was craving Mexican food and was recommended this place by a local, and I was blown away. Best Mexican place I have been to, even including the Houston ones.ATMOSPHERE: I came for lunch on a weekday and this place was POPPIN' (a testament to how good it is!). I had a 20 min wait. The inside is pretty typical and was clean.FOOD: So good. I got a chicken chimichanga. The chicken was what really separated this place for me: it was so flavorful and seasoned perfectly! The chimichanga was smothered in sauce and melty cheese but this only complemented the flavor of the chicken.SERVICE: Pretty good. It look some time for the food to come out and for a waiter to come by to check on our table, but given how busy it was I definitely understood.PRICE/VALUE: So much food for a really reasonable price. Having leftovers was great though.Overall, such a good choice for Mexican food. Even though there may be a wait, it is well worth it to try this place.

Apparently this restaurant does not care if you get food poisoning from their food. Horrible customer service. If you eat here make sure you get health insurance first because they won't refund you unless you have medical evidence that you became sick from their food. Good luck to all who dare.

Some of the best Mexican breakfast in RGV! Also have homemade tasting carne guisada and substantial botanas.

Barbacoa was lean and good, breakfast was good and seafood was not bad. Service could be more attentive but not horrible. It was a little hot in there the day I went.

Been to this place and man it makes me feel right at home, as a Hispanic American it felt awesome to be there, and yet it is so amazing to see people of all backgrounds coming together for this establishment, the setting is so nice and calm and has a beautiful place that I believe commemorates the owner and history of the place(correct me if I'm wrong!) food is really good and I love going every Sunday to get some beans eggs and potatoes, sometimes I get pancakes but I always try to try something new, great place and definitely recommend for people all over the valley!!

Very good service. Food is good, not great but filling and very fast considering the crowd and polite. Some of the more flavorful rice I've had here in the valley. Enough for lunch and dinner.

I don't know why charge when you use credit card , The company need to not charge, one you can tips a good service because of that. the company make a lot of money. I am not happy.
