We did go an hour before they closed and the mexican authentic food was great as always , service was good under the circumstances

I ordered a botana for 2 along with other items and paid a total of $78 and change. The botana came with dry and hard pieces of chicken and beef fajitas. There was barely enough beans and cheese on the tortilla chips. It was cold. I was so disappointed because it looked like someone ordered it a day before but didn't pick it up so that's what they gave me. It's like the price increased but the quality of the food decreased. :(

Had my annual pilgrimage to the RGV and I couldn't resist the famous Botana platter. A heaping of beef fajitas on top of fresh made corn tortilla chips smothered with refried beans and gooey cheese, a side of guacamole and two corn quesadillas. Dayum! It hit the spot, but what made it special was the Valley's concoction of sweet tea, which I am still trying to figure out how it is made - very unique taste. Service was quick and friendly. I'd go back for second helpings. Buen provecho!

$4! For these pathetic French fries. Look at this crap! $4 for 12 fries! Zamoras is king of ripping off people for food! Go somewhere else unless you like rude servers and ridiculous prices!

So disappointed we order and eat there a lot but I've noticed the take out botanas are horrible. The meat looks like it's been sitting there for a while it's very dry.

Had been here for breakfast never for lunch. Felt like having a home made caldo and to be honest made the right choice. The restaurant it self was very clean the staff very nice. When asked about suggestions the waiters was nice enough to recommend a lunch plate. I noticed that they have Saturday lunch specials which is rare to see at restaurants since specials are usually Monday- Friday. That was a plus!! So when you think about it Zamora's has special mon- sat. My husband had the fajita plates. As per my Husband good flavor, good quantity but would have liked less bell peppers and onions. I had the caldo de res, good portion very good flavor if you are looking to eat something that your mom would make this is it. The only thing I would change a bit was leave the meat a little bit longer cooking to be a bit soft, but that's just me. Price : very reasonable, our tab was about $21 which is not bad for the lunch we had. We are definitely going back and trying more of their food items

Disappointing botana to say the least, got home it was already cold (5 min drive). Fajitas were cold and tough, tortillas cold too, AND barely any cheese on the very STALE corn chips. Over 40$ and this was the result, called management for ANY remedy and was told there was none. Turned off from this place and lost our business for good.

I ordered a dozen "fresh" homemade flour tortillas for pick up. I paid over $11.00 for my request, when I got home (5 minutes later) to sit and have dinner with my family, we couldn't even pull apart the tortilla! They had been microwaved, they were horrible! Don't ever order tortillas from this place.

Great food , Great Service !!Familiar atmosphere!! Definitely I recommend Zamoras's Restaurant authentic Mexican food with a Texan style!

Went for late lunch today after 2pm close to 3pm, I order one of their lunch special - Tacos de Alambre I believed it was the name, it comes with charro beans as a side, second time tying the beans there was a chewed toothpick :(, I told the waitress about it and she even grab the toothpick, went to the cashier they look at for like 2 to 3 min and went to the kitchen and that was the end of the story, no sorry no it will not happened again or at least for the cook or chef to come to my table to apologize about situation.What tells me they are reusing the leftovers from other costumers :0, not good for a late lunch.1 star but should be minus 5 stars. It was one of my fav restaurant to go for lunch, not anymore :(
