Z Wings Sports Bar & Grill

We had the philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was cooked to perfection BUUUT it did a long time to be ready so make sure you have time. Maybe order an appetizer or enjoy some beers first.

I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Korean wings were not very Korean-like but flavorful. The fries were hot and seasoned nicely. Great place for a casual meal.

Good vibes. Chicken strips breading will fall off with some sauces (Mango Habanero). Good food most of the time. Sauces and boneless wings are great. Service is great, food can take up to an hour to come out sometimes. But there is ice cold beer to help pass the time.

The food is great! The beers are great, and cold! The environment is a super chill bar, good for sporting events. The service though....the service is absolutely horrible and slow. And prices are a bit expensive, but where else are u gonna go? It's Zapata. Good service and more staff to attend people goes a long way.

Drove about 40 mins just to taste... drive was well worth. My wings (lemon pepper) were crispy as ordered. The establishments vibe and service is very welcoming.

We walked in to a packed but very welcoming environment, we had to sit down at the bar because there tables that were open had been reserved. No matter because the Astros game was on and the tv was right in front of us. The beers were cold, we ordered a guacamole and chip appetizer. The appetizer took about about 30 min to be brought out but the chips had just been fried and it was delicious. Our food took another 30 min which seemed too long as it was just a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a burger. We entertained ourselves watching the game and drinking some beers. The waitress was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Our food was great and tasted freshly made. With the exception of the long wait for food everything was great. We will definitely return.

Z-Wings is my new favorite local spot! They were nothing but professional when taking our order and they kept us in the loop about what was going on the kitchen. EVERYTHING is made from scratch, so things may take a little bit longer than other places, but it's worth it. Our waitress was amazing, the food was incredible, and the prices were more than fair.

I have never eaten here but my husband says they're great And eats here when he's working down in Zapata. Today is his birthday and is 5 hours from home and I can't celebrate with him and our son, I facebook messaged them and immediately got a response. I asked if they could surprise him with a birthday dessert and they were soooo accommodating and sweet to help me celebrate in some type of way!! It all took 5 minutes to discuss details of what he looked like/ wearing. I am adding pictures of our conversation just to show how incredibly nice they were!! I recommend this place on just the hospitality alone!!! And the husband recommended for both food and service! THANK YOU Z WINGS FOR BEING SO KIND!! And I'm actually jealous I couldn't have any of this food lol!!

Wonderful service, quality food, and decent pricing. Definitely, one of Zapata counties little gems if you are looking for a nice place to kick back with some friends or just order some delivery to plop on your couch.

Good food good service and for a reasonable price. I know Zapata Texas is a small town but damn this place was dead on a Saturday night! Word of advice turn down the night club music and turn up the volume on the TV's get a sport package and play more than just ESPN on all 10 TV monitors if your going to be a sports bar!
