Yonder Inn

This hotel is outdated to say yhebleast. The rooms are usually clean for the most part. They can be better. We have stayed here a couple of times when visiting family in Beeville, Tx. The staff are always friendly and as accommodating as they an be. They just work there anyway. The last visit we had was horrible. IT was HOT that's day and had been raining off and on. The electricity went out causing the elevators not to work and we were on the 3rd floor. The AC was not working and no tv of course. It was miserable. Not sure why ANY hotel is operating without a backup generator especially in the texas hot months in Beeville no less. I love the central location and the ease of getting to and from the hotel while there. But the pop up "issues" with no back up plan is just not business friendly in my opinion. I can't bring myself to stay here again. It's too risky to pay for.

I thought I should update my review for a year ago. Younderinn has gone down hill in a years time and it's only going to get worse if they don't start doing something. Maybe I can start with the room floors and bathroom walls. They is always coffee from previous guest. The chairs at the pool are falling through from dry rot and there's mold all around the edges. Their breakfast is the same thing day after day and it's almost uneadiable. I can only hope they start investing in their property.

Traveling along the highway from Corpus with no agenda. My girl thought the hotel had a great name, and I was attracted to the facade. So we decided to stay at this delightful privately owned hotel a couple weeks ago. The woman working the front desk (I'm pissed I can't remember her name) was very accommodating and very friendly. I decided to upgrade to the king suite because why not?! It definitely did not disappoint! Balcony, huge space, large flat screen TVs in both rooms, satellite tv. A full kitchen furnished with everything necessary to cook a meal, and a dishwasher with pods to clean up. Comfortable bed, very clean. Great breakfast spread. Definitely a 5 star hotel in my opinion. I travel for work so I've stayed in them all. The next time I travel through Beeville, I'll be sure to set aside a night just to stay here again. I suggest you do the same.

Sorry to say they are slipping! We stayed here a few times being new in the area and come here for family and local events, and it was really nice at first. We were a couple weekends ago and it was hot. My husband went golfing so I got ready for the nice outside pool. Walked over there and it was locked (1pm) so I went to the front desk to inquire about it, she said it was open pull up on the gate thing. so I walked back, it didn't open. Was locked! I just got sick of walking back and forth and watched TV! Later, when going out for dinner, I saw they opened it for the party goin on. SHE COULD HAVE WALKED OVER AND CHECKED FOR ME. Also, there were a couple dead, big rouches on the floor in our room And charge a lot for drinks at the bar! We do like the bar and game table set up and the room price was reasonable with our AAA. Beds and pillows are very cozy. With the local completion they need to get with it! Beeville isn't a hot spot anyway!

This place has exceeded all the expectations! After traveling 12 hours, one does not want to deal with moody staff and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. The building seems to be relatively new because it still has that "just built scent". We will definitely be staying here in the future. Our room was great, they offer complementary wifi, Starbucks coffee, and breakfast from 6AM-10AM. Definitely one of THE BEST hotels I've stayed at. Thank you Yonder Inn, everything about you is outstanding.

Sad sad story reserved 3 days and they stuck us in the same damn moldy room and now it was infested with roaches and I called to speak to a manager and she gave me the excuse to them being infested with roaches was because it's cold outside and they are like yall wanting to stay warm and I told her calmly excuse is that your excuse and I'm supposed to be ok with it and your calling us roaches ugh no ma'am this place has really gone to shit I will never stay here again . I gave them a second chance because I got a text telling me the last stay was resolved but they lied

Rooms and bedding are clean and new. Showers have no water pressure and Housekeeping is way below par... Many days leaving no soap or shampoo or fresh towels. Have walked into rooms after checking in to find both beds slept in. Not a single refrigerator works in the rooms and are warm when guest arrives. Have stayed in many rooms and all the same. Management says put something in the fridge and it will work just fine. Tried this.... Water and drinks still warm in the morning. Pretty much get what you pay for at this place.
