Yolie's Steakhouse & Mexican Food

The food was OK, but the waitress was extremely rude to my family. There are much better places to eat in Crystal City. Don't waste your money here.

Yolie's Steakhouse & Mexican Food Restaurant hit the spot for a good homemade meal. The plate I ordered consist of 1 Enchilada, 1 Crispy Taco, 1 Chalupa and Rice and Beans. My husband ordered Carne Guisada Plate and it was very good as well but we forgot to take a picture. It was a lot of food for the price that it was. It's close to town and where we were working at so very convenient. The waitress was attentive and the restaurant was very clean and nice. Our food was nice and hot and we didn't have to wait for a long time to get our order! If you want a good Mexican Plate in Crystal City I would say stop by here!

We had dinner here last night! We were literally the only ones in there until one other couple came in and the food was delicious and our waitress was nice. We will for sure be back! Yummmmmmm

Went around noon for lunch and they had a buffet going. We opted for the menu though so we could get specifically what we wanted. Got seated pretty quick, wasn't crazy busy and our waitress was really good, attentive and quick. I ordered huevos rancheros because I was craving Mexican breakfast. I was asked if I wanted the ranchero sauce on top which was an odd question since it always comes that way, that's what makes it the dish it is. So of course I said yes and thank god it didn't come on top because I wasn't loving it! It was spicy but the onions and jalapeños that were chopped up in it were pretty much raw so very crunchy. Not a fan of that. I did like their beans though! The potatoes were plain and the sausage tasted like it was cooked in butter. I want to give a higher rating (especially considering options are limited and I'm pretty sure this is definitely on the better end of the scale since it's not a super hole in the wall) but I think I'll have to try the enchiladas to determine that!

Great for a easy meal. The enchiladas were very good and the rice was very flavorful! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They didn't mind that my toddler was being noisy or running around. The fish was very good and fresh, and it made excellent fish tacos. Nothing fancy but sometimes that's just what you need!

We stopped here because the place was packed at 10 am. So the food must be great, right? Wrong. Those were people still waiting on their breakfast. It took an hour to get our food. And it was awful. Quite possibly the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Beef fajitas were sliced chuck roast covered in fat. Beans were from a can. The rice was crunchy. Guacamole was mushed browning avocado. Carne asada looked like Alpo. Tortillas had no salt or lard. Salsa had no flavor. Ordered chips and never got them. Our waitress kept bringing food to the wrong tables. Do yourself a favor and pass this place up. Do the rest of the world a favor and burn it down.

Absolutely terrible customer service and wait time. The waitress Rosemary was extremely rude and unable to do her job efficiently. We were served last when we arrived first. We also waited over an hour with no updates on the food. Then she raised her voice at us and gave us excuses. We decided to leave. We only payed for our drinks. This will be our last time eating here. We expect better customer service from Yolie's. Not sure if they need new management or just better employees. Do not eat here- it is a bad representation of Crystal City dine in culture.

This is by far the worst restaurant in Crystal City Texas with horrible management. They are very rude and they give you your drinks 20 minutes later after serving you chips and dip I would not recommend anyone from eating here. However you're better off eating at Carrizo Springs Texas, at least there service is faster. Furthermore, a waitress name Rose Mary will greet you with attitude that talks back will tax you for every items you order scam restaurant tactic. Who ever is the owner needs to fire her. Trash restaurant don't believe these 5 star review they're just friends and family lying too you.
