Yasuke Ramen & Bar

waited 10ish minutes for a table for 4 on a Saturday at 3pm. Ordered the kimchi fries as an appetizer & LOVED THEM! 4+ people can eat from them or it could even be eaten as the entree. Ordered the yasuke ramen with miso broth, katsu chicken, & no egg. Overall did not like the chicken or soup in general :/ would not order that again. cool vibes & would like to retry at night to sit outdoors

Service is nice and friendly. Ramen was not that great, their noodles are thick and felt undercooked. The broth lacked flavor, tasted very bland. Tried adding some limes but that didn't help much.Their takoyaki is amazing as well as their dumplings, their other menu options looked great as well (non ramen stuff).Drinks were tasty.Ambiance is fantastic, they have TVs playing anime and sports, great place to hang out!

My cousin was adamant in bringing me to this restaurant. I've had some good ramen but I've yet to find an authentic ramen spot. This place was not it, but it was good. My cousin and I both ordered the spicy broth with ramen dish. My little sister ordered the miso broth with ramen. We ordered shrimp for her and she was absolutely obsessed with the grilled shrimp...her broth on the other hand was way too salty. I think the prices are on point for the portions. Our server was great and kept checking on us!

Yasuke Ramen & Bar was great! As I walked in, I whispered to my partner that it was pretty loud. The owner checked up on us twice & at the end of our meal, he approached us & stated that he overheard me say how loud it was and lowered down the music + other great conversation! The ramen was delicious, so delicious!! Just as good as Yasuke Japanese Sushi. :)

Loved this place! Definitely going back. Super fresh ingredients and responsive staff. Seating was perfect for a work group.

Loooooveee the ramen! A giant bowl and freshly made! The takoyaki is also great too; haven't had any since the last time I went vacationing in Asia ..The staff are all very kind and welcoming too

1. This is not Japanese in the slightest. Like it's sister restaurant it is completely fraudulent in every way. 2. If you're gonna open up a Japanese restaurant, be Japanese 100% not half Japanese half Mexican. Like every place in the valley that's scared to not be half Mexican Fusión. 3. The service here is horrible. The people who run the front are hilariously inadequate to run anything. 4. 2 stars is generous because the ramen actually isn't awful. It just isn't good or authentic. Travel to a place that actually has Japanese people and culture and you will understand my rating.

First time trying this ramen place out and it was just amazing. I've had ramen in Austin, in New York...and this ramen beats it out of the park. So delicious! The service was amazing. Our server Montse was very attentive, very outgoing. The manager was also providing us amazing service. The ambiance in this location is very chill. Did not know a place like this was in McAllen but so glad I was finally able to try it out.

Came on Sunday. Awesome food! Had the Bulgogi Donburi. This was super good! Meat was tender and full of flavor. The veggies were also very good. I tried the gyoza as well. Nice and crunchy. Pretty good. Service was great. I sat at the bar and was served immediately. Bartender was very cool. Will definitely return.Update: Returned 07/13.Arrived at 0850. Did not get our drinks until 9:35. Food came out 15 minutes after that. Service was not great last night. Seems like we were forgotten. Will return but will definitely sit at the bar next time.

I definitely recommend this place because it's very flavorful & is more authentic compared to other Japanese ramen restaurants.
