Not sure how this place is considered a "resort" they have everything listed on their site. Onsite parking is strange. Why are your guest having to pay for parking there when they already are staying there?? The rooms were okay. Needed a bit updating; Looked like they tried to paint over area that needed attention. Bathroom sliding door bothered me a bit with using the hook to "lock" the door. Walls were dirty. But the downside is..located right on the beach, bar and pool were decent. Price wise..could've been better. Paid about 182 for one night.

I hate leaving reviews like this but I can't agree at all with the fact that the rooms being rented were ready for guests and feel like it was irresponsible of management to allow this to be part of their brand.Especially disappointing was that Wyndham doesn't have quality control over their brand either. The room we stayed in was crazy expensive for the area (oceanfront) and the room was not even finished out / done being renovated. If it had, then whoever is deciding what "good" looks like needs a reevaluation.Simple things like lights were out. Art missing from the walls. Broken switches, bathroom door which wouldn't close etc. The art that was there wasn't even mounted straight!Paint in the hallways, peeling paint decals etc. I can't believe someone okayed to rent these rooms yet alone charge full price. Not only will I not be back at this hotel I also no longer trust the Wyndham hotel brand.

Only being open for 6 month (closed for 5 years due to Harvey)...it hasnt changed much....lobby is new and open....restaurant on site (we had plans elsewhere) ....friendly staff....check in is at 4 and we arrived at 11am to make sure we could park there until check-in....we were given our parking pass and pool passes right away....very cool....The rooms floorings have been updated....and of course the beds as well....the only real issue was the elevator...but the end of the first evening, almost everyone was using the stairs, as 2 out of 3 elevators were not working. We really like the location of this place, and will be back as the GD loved the stay and the super easy access to the beach.

We arrived just before midnight after a long drive, just wanting to check in and go to sleep. Upon entry to our room, I pulled back the sheets, and there were stains on the bedding. I let my husband know, and he went to the front desk to grab some new sheets so we could get to bed quickly. As I walked around the room, I also noticed that the floor has not been mopped or cleaned as there was residue all over. The small sofa had lots of stains as well. All of the art on the walls was in rough shape- beat up with obvious marks of wear, tear, and staining. In the bathroom, there was a hole in the wall with a tissue stuck through it as well as what appeared to be blood stains. Two people came to the room with fresh sheets, and I notified my husband of all the other things amiss and pointed them out. He asked them if they had another room that was clean and in good condition, and they made something work for us, which was good. While this room was better, it still wasn't great. The sheets were also stained, but it was now past 1 am, and I was too tired to go through the hassle of getting new sheets (again). The floors looked like they had been given at least a cursory wipe, though definitely not a full clean. The art on the walls was still rough as well as the condition of the lamp, ottoman, and sofa. This is probably a minor thing, but it's important to me. During our stay, I was unable to take a bath since they were out of tub plugs, and the drain covers didn't have built in methods of stoppage. It was something I was looking forward to during my stay since I find baths very relaxing, and I've never had this issue during my travels before at other hotels. The gym didn't have any sanitizing wipes (which is pretty standard for gyms), so I went and asked the front desk for some, thinking they may have just run out. The way they answered my inquiry led me to believe that sanitizing wipes are not a normal expectation for their gym. Additionally, the equipment is not well maintained. Several buttons on the elliptical didn't work including the quick start and up/down selections. The stationary bike also had loose frayed cords dangling. One of the two main elevators was broken during our stay- the staff said we could use the service elevator as well since there were quite a lot of people, and one elevator just couldn't keep up with the traffic. This was good service- it was a logical solution that made sense and helped with convenience. To be clear- I think that all of this is more of a management or owner issue than anything else. The hotel was obviously understaffed, and they were just doing the best they could. If the first room I was given had been actually clean, I could have easily let the bath, gym, and elevator situations go. All I really needed was a clean place to sleep this weekend, and I would have been set. The only reason I wouldn't give 1 star is because the staff attempted to address our concerns (cleanliness, elevators, gym, bathtub plug) and they were as resolved as they could be with what limited things could be done. They were responsive, and while they couldn't fix all the issues, they at least tried, and I appreciate it.

Train your staff... they need to understand they are in a service industry... I'm not saying kiss my ass the second I walk in the door, but dress appropriately ( the front desk girl was wearing a ratty sweatshirt). When I come to you with an issue.. don't just act blasé about it.. solve the issue( or at the least, ACT like you will).CLEAN UP OR HIDE THE GARBAGE BY THE DUMPSTER.. it was so unsightly to see that when I open my blinds, and it stunk to high heaven.AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... make coffee in the morning!!!! . From the looks of the stains on my sheets, I wasn't going to DARE use the coffee machine in my room.One last thing... would it kill you to put some hooks in the bathroom... I had nowhere to hang my towel to dry

We stayed here for four nights in the middle of July. It is on the beach. Some nights had special events and/or music. The pool has a bar. Overall our stay was quite nice. The room was large. A few things bothered me though: 1) the ice machines never worked, 2) on two separate afternoons, the room next to ours had some remodeling going on. This lasted about an hour. We weren't really in the room during the day, so it didn't matter much. But it was bothersome to our little dog who's scared of his own shadow. 3) parking isn't the greatest. 4) on-site breakfast absolutely sucked. Overall, if price and location matters, then it's a good place to try.

This place was taken over by Wyndham before it was holiday This place was clean , employees were very nice . We brought out pets and they were very accommodating. They put us by the elevator which . I can understand why because of the barking of the dogs for the other visitors . But damn that elevator was loud . So make sure to ask to not be by the elevators if u want a good night sleep

Resort??? Nothing resort like about this hotel. Even though claiming to be remodeled, this is a run down place. Stayed there for a romantic getaway for a few days. The front door lock was broken, the back door lock to the balcony was broken. Small light next to the bed didn't work, the balcony light would not turn off, even though almost all the others could be turned off. Resulting in a very bright light staying on next to the bed all night long. The front desk said, the light just stays on in our particular room. Weird bathroom door lock. It's a hook. The bedside outlet didn't work. The balcony had one bar height chair and one low chair. Awkward for sitting with someone outside. No table to put food or beverages on. The complimentary breakfast was until 10:00am. We got there shortly before 9:00am. There were 2 muffins, 2 sketchy looking danishes, 1 banana, lots of sugary cereal and coffee. No pancakes as promised or yogurt. We saw several people come in to eat, look around and leave. Absolute pure laziness as we saw 2 staff ladies chatting and watching. One was a tall thin blondish lady and the other was heavy set gal. They were busy chatting. What a disappointment. Other than the so called breakfast, the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner. BTW , this appears to be a franchise hotel, not a normal corporate location.

The overall state of the room looks like they tried to revamp it by just putting paint on the walls. There are big spots on the wall missing paint. Ceiling looks like the painted over big cracks. Lamps either don't have light bulbs or don't work. The bathroom is clean but needs upgrading. Bathroom outlets did not work. Front desk didn't answer. Not major issues but for the price not worth it.

I wasn't impressed at all with this experience. There were VERY loud neighbors, Nothing but a dead bolt blocking us from the neighbors, Market and restaurant both closed, why pick tile floor? Sliding bathroom door is right next to fridge so right when I was getting something out of the fridge my grandma opened the door and my finger got jammed. Only reason I made this two stars is because of the beach view
