Wow-Wees Cafe

I've only been here twice, but both times were very enjoyable. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was decent, and the potatoes needed a little bit more salt and/or seasoning. Overall, the ambiance was nice, and I will go back eventually.

The food. Was not good. At all. The Spanish rice was crunchy and the beans and enchiladas so bland, I couldn't add enough salt. I won't go back.

Landed here by accident on the way to the glass bottom boats. Super friendly lady taking care of us, food came out quickly and was very tasty. Very homemade flavor, everything was made fresh. Will visit back!

Food was great!I had menudo; one of the best I've had!My Daughter ordered breakfast tacos; great homemade flour tortillas, thin and large and great tasting! And they were not shy on the fillings.Awesome place and people.

If you want to eat half empty tacos go there ( $4 / small taco with big tortillas and nothing inside of it) not that they just lifted prices double or triple after Corona , but amount of food you get is very minimal. This used to be our favorite breakfast place , not anymore. Pretty disappointed If you are in San Marcos area and want to eat breakfast- go to Toma Taco near by great service and great food .

This place is great. We ordered potato, egg, bacon, and cheese breakfast tacos with extra green and red salsas and DANG Y'ALL I cannot recommend this place enough. Killer ~homemade~ tortillas, perfectly cooked bacon, and salsa so good I ended up sipping it after each bite We actually came back a second time the next morning for the exact same order, that's how much we enjoyed this place. Definitely want to come back to try the rest of the menu!

My husband & I were looking for a place to eat a good Mexican breakfast and we happened to drive by and outside he noticed that the building had homemade flour tortillas written outside in red letters so we circled around & gave Wow-Wees Cafe a visit. Well, wow-wee we're not disappointed. He ordered the 4 cheese enchilada plate & a chorizo & egg taco. I ordered the Woo-Wee Special that came w/a small menudo, 2 over medium eggs, a small portion of barbacoa, refried beans, & potato....it was the perfect amount. We ended up ordering a pound of barbacoa to go to take to my niece. Everything was delicious & our waitress was very attentive. And, yes, the homemade flour tortillas were excellent. We are happy campers.

Go to Lolis. Went here bc Lolis wasn't opened. They advertise fresh tortillas. Serve store bought. Food was disgusting, greasy and fatty. 2 * bc lady was nice.

First time in this place and the last for sure!! Wish i had seen the cockroach review before even trying. But my one complaint was that i ordered 2 burritos from the window & i asked for a second green sauce since i ordered 2 but she has the audacity to tell me it will be 50. Extra! That's after my buddy that just placed a one burrito order and got one sauce as well and tipped her $2.00! So i said I'll just order 2 burritos in separate orders to get a sauce with each next time. But not after looking at the reviews.

Our server was great and very nice! Our family will definitely be back here! Awesome breakfast place!
